Service could be faster, Gelato was not ready when we came in at 10am on a Thursday morning. The gentleman serving us claimed the was no menu for their Gelato even though there clearly was. Gelato was probably the best in Karachi

I live in abroad and I ordered cake from Lal’s. After confirming order I went to their official page and was shocked after reading reviews that they don’t deliver on time and never picked their watsapp number and blah blah.But that was all wrong they delivered cake on time when all roads were blocked for dharna and cake was out of this world.Good Job.

Lals Patisserie. It is probably one of the most underrated restaurants in the city. A hidden gem....Lals just sticks out from the clutter in the otherwise me-too dining scene in the city. An inventive menu, flawless service, focus on high quality flavourful meals positions it in the high quality-value quadrant....Overall -- An excellent experience, with a favourable value proposition. It is certainly on my dine-in list now. Definitely going back to try out the Banh-Mi sandwiches, among other stuff...Lovely ambience, good service. I ordered, waffles with cold coffee. Waffles were soft and, I think these ones were better than any waffles Id had...The have newly introducy Ice creams and they are worth to try.. And theirs chocolate too..LALs was in DOLMEN MALL CLIFTON but sadly they have closed.Overall, I loved my experience at Lals, and will definitely go again with friends! Oh they even have free WiFi for customers, win!Side Note:Smoking is prohibited inside restaurants as per some random law. The law is often not followed, and thats fine. I am cool with that.When a person has to smoke, he/she has to smoke. But even the heaviest of chain smokers do not smoke when there is an infant present...

Lals definitely has some great dessert options however are absolutely clueless when it comes to customer serviceMy sister ordered 2 cakes on their website and then called to confirm a delivery time. She was advised the cakes would be delivered by 6pm.The delivery driver was over an hour late and called when he was still over 30 minutes away. We then advised for the order to be delivered to a different address and were promised the order would definitely be with us by 9pm.The order did not arrive until midnight!Lals clearly lied about the delivery and clearly have no concept of customer service. An absolutely clueless team of headless chickens who are happy to lie to their customers.If you ever want a cake from this place, do not order online. Just go in and pick it up!A very cowboy operation!

The cutest little cafe Ive ever been to! The food was delicious. The serving size could be been better. The service was GREAT! Their lemon crème tart is perfection.

The cheesecake leaves a little bit to be desired for, the tinge of lemon can be off-putting, the chocolate products can be sworn by though.

Amazing Desserts: their Desserts are amazing, especially their Chocolate related items. Their Gelato is the best in the city, especially the Belgium Chocolate and Millionaire Chocolate flavors. Their fresh made Chocolate waffle with 2 scoops of Gelato is delicious.Service is one area where they could improve, with generally slow service particularly when they are at capacity.Seating is limited. Prices are very reasonable IMO considering the high quality of ingredients.This place is my familys regular Dessert place in Karachi... Highly recommended if you have a Sweet Tooth.

Lals Patisserie is truly an exclusive place for the people of selected taste and choices , anyway it occurred that I wasnt an appropriate person to the trendy affluence .. as the assorted pieces were on display , maybe the virus lockdown may have restricted to the scanty few arrays of the day varieties .. anyway the intended entry into the Shahbaz outlet was to present the formal Sweets within the family for a Good News , the rates and the limited varied options cautioned the wallet .. improbable to exiting empty handed , however the Croissants attracted the attention , but that too didnt match the reasonable price .. Good coffee but worst Hi-Tea ever, humus smelt rotten, cucumber sandwich like literally, and some other random things out together, bad quality food and really tasteless. All this for 2200 PKR.

The environment is okay. Staff is trained but their variety is not much.

This place is quite good as compared to their franchise ar dmc. Food was fresh however, they switched our order from another order and charge the price of switched order to us as we took bite and realized later that we are not provided the desert we ordered. Their bad customer dealing literally just runied our day.

Lals need to train some of its staff in customer dealing. Most of them are polite but this one chap burst into anger and started mincing his lips with unfriendly gestures because we said gelato is too soft. He said because of electricity problems its softer than usual. We asked him to serve the harder part of gelato and it was delicious as always.

I went to Lals (Shahbaz branch) with my family in the hopes of getting good dessert. While waiting for the order, my dad and I saw that the person making our sundae was putting brownie chunks in it without wearing any gloves. He picked up the brownie pieces and sprinkled them in the bowl with his bare hands. Thankfully we saw it and my dad rushed downstairs to tell him to wear gloves and remake the sundae.When questioned, the guy said he was wearing plastic gloves and that we could not see them from upstairs. Which wasnt true because when my dad came back up, both he and I could clearly see that now everyone was wearing plastic gloves.I am disappointed and shocked that a place like Lals has not trained their staff to follow proper hygiene standards. If I am paying around Rs 600 for a dessert, I expect it to be of the highest standard. Otherwise why am I paying so much, and what for? If restaurants like Lals cannot keep their hygiene standards and guarantee a healthy dining experience for their customers - especially in the current, fly infested climate - then they are certainly not worth it. I hope the management at Lals and other restaurants learn to take hygiene and customers health seriously, and that they work on training their staff correctly. The staff should also be told to own up to their mistakes, instead of lying blatantly. Because things like these can cause serious mishaps.PS: the only reason I have given them one star is because after being remade, the sundae was delicious. Nevertheless, I will not be visiting again.

The place looks beautiful but if youre interested in paying for a restaurants food, not the fancy paint on their walls, then this isnt for you. The food was excruciatingly underwhelming at best, particularly the identity crisis rice that tasted like it came out of a desi shaadi ki deg but was served with grilled chicken and declared Mexican or something.

Reasonably good place for a short break. Their quiche & waffles are good enough; the creme brulee is a raging disappointment. The ambience is cosy, friendly & comfortable. The staff are very courteous. Not a cheap place but prices are not astronomical either. One big disappointment was our order for the bread basket was turned down because they had run out of them. I do like taking my kids & friends there. And will be back.

They also make their own chocolate and macaroons, both of which are excellent. Service is quick and efficient, and the pricing is competitive.Gift packs of chocolates and macaroons are available.

I had the crème brulé, which was nice. A friend ordered a crepe, which wasnt that great. The mezzanine floor has a low ceiling so it felt claustrophobic. The ground floor had a nice, well-lit setup. Not a bad experience overall.
