Always a nice experience having dinner here the soup was of the day cream of chicken soup was good too. It was packed on a working day which is why i though there service was a little down graded as i remember it to be.

Well its a decent place with outdoor sitting specially during Covid19.. Services are pretty good.

Loved the ambiance of this place. The plants, trees and the soft, low lighting give you a really nice, calm feeling as youre waiting for your order to arrive. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and veggies. The chicken was nice and hot. It was super well cooked. The exterior of the chicken was nicely crusted and the inside was soft. The parmesan gave it a smooth flavour overall which i absolutely loved. The veggies and mashed potatoes are really enjoyable with the chicken. Next time definitely gonna try the Almond Crusted Chicken.

A very comfortable place to dine out with your friends and family. The menu is quite exotic specific to formal dine out. You wont find fast food items like burgers or fries on the menu rather specific dining continental dishes.In my opinion Koel Cafe is worth dining out occasionally not just a one time go.

Good service. Food was alright. Pizza was great. The red snapper in lemon garlic sauce was alright. Parmesan crusted chicken was good too. Moroccan chicken was alright.

One of my favorite places to go. Their Tamarind sherbat on a hot summer day is simply perfect to cool down with. Their pizzas are light and scrumptious that leave you fulfilled without feeling greasy! Must visit.

Went to Koel cafe yesterday and the food was not good. I ordered Alfredo with blackened chicken and it had soo much black pepper crusted on it that it was almost impossible to eat it because it became too spicy to consume. Moreover the bowl in which i was served was a little broken it had a piece of glass broken and a crack on the side. I also ordered risotto with grilled chicken while it was nice i personally believe the chicken-to-rice ratio was not balanced. There was too much risotto. But the service was good and the ambiance is also nice.

Great variety in menu. The ambiance is pretty cosy. Good for spending an evening with friends and even a late dinner with family. The serving size is also good value for money.

Had a bad experience with koel Cafe especially with the beef steak but the starter and sweet dish was fine... Highly expensive and taste was average.. would not recommend to anyone again.

Good part:Food was excellent (except dessert), serving was on time, good portion and value for money.Bad part:Even after reservation, seating arrangement was unexpectedly at wrong place, provided two chairs for three people to sit (can you imagine), no reception system which resulted in every guest to walk all the way inside the restaurant allowed to be seated or guided by the restaurant staff. Our seating was next to connecting door to gallery area, which was huge inconvenience.Now the dessert, we were requested to wait for 10 minutes as they were baking chocolate lava cake freshly but when served, it was only warm, whereas it was supposed to be oven hot.Recommended for food but the restaurant need to work on these points too.

I dont have a personal experience to go there but one of my uncle who had a good dining experiences in Koel Cafe earlier but on 26 oct it was embarrasing for him as he invited three guests including two foreign nationals visiting Karachi to Koel.Booking reference Syed Naqvi 8 pm. reservation.One guest found a hair in main dish. When shown to waiter it was taken quite casually with a simple word of sorry. It should have been taken seriously and dish should have been replaced with proper regret from the manager.But nothing was done until asked to remove the plate. The guest felt so disgusted that he refuse to take anything else.

Koel cafe has got the vibe, the food and its got an art gallery next door. Its hot for taking selfies and Instagram but its got so much more going on. Whether youre here to just get a snap or enjoy a nice meal with a frds in a Mediterranean/jungle setting or view art, it feels like its open to all types of archetypes. Defo try their kulcha with blackened chicken, sauce is up to your palette.

Chicken Terragon served to me had 60 to 70 grams of chicken breast while they charge around Rs. 850 plus tax for it...Theyve lost the touch they had in past. Not going to dine there ever again

Its my favorite quaint little spot for a quick bite or a proper meal!! Love the ambiance and the ethnic touches here and there.At the same time, the food is excellent!! The menu selection is great and whatever we ordered was really fresh and flavorful!Also, the Koel shop is within the compound, so thats an added attraction. They have all sorts of woven, block printed, chunri stuff.. its both stitched and unstitched.So a place worth visiting, every once in a while!!

Starter was excellent but food was average. Ordered cease salad and prawns in starter which was exceptional. Ordered a poultry main and a naan sandwich which were tasteless

This place has lost its charm because of decline in food quality. A restaurant with good ambiance is good deal ONLY if the food quality is at-least bearable. The quality had been going down since a year but now its unbearably bad.Nan Sandwich is now too dry. Alfredo Pasta has lost its x-factor & so have other items on the already very limited menu.Sad state.Earlier: 9/10Now: 4/10.

The ambience is great. Allows you to have a private lunch in a natural setting specially if the weather is good. However the service takes too long even for the simplest dish or starter expect a bare minimum 30 minute wait. The beverages are good however the main course are sub par. After repeated visits the only good thing on the menu is the Artichoke dip (which probably is the best in town) and the Parmesan chicken. Everything else makes you wonder why you were eating there in the first place.

Such an aesthetic outdoor and indoor sitting area. Amazing for evening outdoor dinner with all the greenery and white themed furniture. Indoor sitting is perfect for a romantic couple dinner with black theme and a candle lit on every table. Food was served hot and on time. It was a quick service. The food was delicious we ordered grill chicken with tarragon sauce. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce had the perfect balance of flavor

Went to koel tonight and was the worst experience since the beginning. At first we were not informed that the food wil be served after 40mins. And on top of that the food was cold and the Kurcha sandwich i would not recommened anyone to have it it was very very very cold.The drinks were served when we finished our food. Later on when it was informed to the manager he was courtious enough to serve us with a Desert and where they took anyother star of my review. Ambience is good but i wouldnt recommend it for food to anyone.

Do not neglect to walk into The Beautiful Zen Shop on the premises, where you will find Noor Jehan Bilgramis Classical Signature Block Printed Items,and her Fabulous Range of Natural Creams, Massage Oils and Soaps, all with beautiful Eastern Aromas. I got the Motia and Naranjee () Scented ones. They also stock Organic Honey From the Tamir Farms in Islamabad. All told, one of my all time favorite Haunts in the City!

Koel s is all about the ambience and with good food it only adds to the experience. You can always pop into the gallery for some art therapy or go check out the sustainable fabric at the store. The tea and coffee is something that needs a boost, they are from the machines and are priced quite steeply.
