Well i have recently made my learning license .. experience was average .. place is big but its left out not renovated ..Sharing procedure for learning license ( will soon share permenat license procedure also )Bcz of corona you need to take appointment first you cant just go inside anytime .. for appointment you have to download app from play store name ( dls online ) after taking appointment for which date and time you have selected you should be their at exact time with proof of online appointment (screenshot)For making learning license all you need is your original CNIC card and its photocopyTotal Fee is 400You dont have to go through any test .. all you have to do is stand in lanes again n again total 8 lines which i remember ..They give you token then recipt then take photo then collect data then fees and then they give you your license right theirAll this process in 1 hourAfter 42 days you can make permenant license for which the real procedure starts ..For learning license the procedure is nothingThe only bad thing was that standing in lane after lane .Timings are 9 to 4 ... place is crowdy and conjusted

اللّٰہ کا شکر ہے کہ کچھ بہتری آئی یہاں پہ!When I went there a few years back, it was more chaotic inside than people can imagine by just seeing it from the outside. & They would systematically fail you just to push you to bribe them to get pass the system.But as of now i.e. Nov 2018, apart from their occasional ill behavior, the process is running quite & easy. Dont complain about the long queues though since we are an overcrowded city.

The process is quite smooth now. Staff was friendly and helpful. This new online appointment system at DLS is quite smooth.

So the service nowadays is little different due to corona. First download the DLS app from the playstore and book your appointment for the next day. Booking timings are 10am to 12amYou will be given a token online take a screenshot of it or make a printout. U will be called the next day u have to carry that token so only then u will be allowed to enter the license office. Masks are complusory.It took 30 minutes for me to make the learning license. Driving License Nazimabad Experience was excellent.Testing process is well organized. Computer test, medical check up & practical Driving are of good standard.Staff is cooperative & well behaved.Suggestion for Improvement. Driving Area is dusty. Car- petting of this area, making a drive through passage & placing a traffic Signal will make it to international standards.

Inside all staff very polite and cooperative. just only request some of staff please speak nicely with peoples.

The office is fine and clean. The process is automated and properly organized. Takes very less time as things have been digitalized. Good experience. Pakistan is getting better.

A Good service has given by the T.Police but they Collect Extra Amount than acutal Fee.

It was pretty fast surprisingly. i had to renew my license. but the doctor who does the eye testing doesnt seem like doctor at all...maybe a bus conductor

So here is my today experience 9/9/2020.Online pre appointment and get token no from their website from 10am to 12am.Enter the gate. at the begining they will call your token no get a small paper from them and go to window give him nic and that small paper he will give you token no.then ko to any counter and make a fee reciept. Then pay the fee and then pictures and then medical eye sught test. After this they will take online mcqs test contain 25 question time 20 minutes.(mostly from dls app test).Then you will go for trial... For me trial is hard and i have failed unfortunately but if you have any source/money you dont need to do anything.

It is good to have driving license office in this area, Karachi is a big city govt should increase more branches in the city.they also need to increase no of visitors per day.

Getting pre appointment through online is good, but other procedures should be improved. No covered area outside for the que and suffer with extreme sunshine. Fans were not working properly inside the hall.People treated first who come with some reference, this should be avoided and should not be entertained further...

There is a new process to book appointment online in advance before visiting the Driving License Office. I was initially having trouble in booking a slot as most of them would get reserved within half an hour of the opening time i.e. 10:00 AM.After reserving slot at 2.30pm, I visited the Driving License office with a screenshot of the token number on my mobile phone. Two officers were handing out manual token slips by verifying the applicant details from printed lists. One list was for permanent license whereas the other one was for learners license. After receiving the manual token, I was told to visit another counter on the outer side of the building where i showed my original NIC and Driving License to receive a printed token.I went inside the building towards the counter for permanent license where the attendand used my CNIC and token details to print a slip mentioning the charges for renewal (Approx 1700 rs including courier fee) and updated my address in the system for delivery. Thereafter, I was asked to make the payment to the cashier. I would advise to keep loose change in order to avoid any hassle during payment. Ideally speaking they should provide option for payment via debit/credit card since currency notes are a risk from COVID-19s transmission perspective.Once the photo was clicked, I was asked to wait for my eye exam. For some weird reason, the lighting was not good enough making it difficult to read the alphabets. However, I was able to read the last two lines from one eye. The doctor wrote something on the slip and told me to visit the records section. In the record section, they had a separate counter for ladies and senior citizens which is a good gesture. After waiting for my turn, the attendant called me to desk and printed the application. I was asked to verify all details before signing it. As it turns out, my address was not entered correctly. After having the correction done, I signed the application and handed over my expired driving license.From start to finish, the visit lasted 30 minutes. After 3 days, the new license arrived via courier at my home. Compared to my previous experience few years back, they have restructured the whole department and it is way more harder to bypass the official process to get a driving license.

I went to Driving License Office Nazimabad for my Licence renewal. I booked an online appointment, it was not good not bad means so so.

It is a well organized office and people feel comfortable with the simplified procedure of license issuance. Senior citizens and ladies are provided separate hall. However, some people may face difficulty in passing the driving test or eye sight test due to their own deficiency.

Traffic Police at the Office was polite and helpful and punctual. Being senior citizen I was given due respect and preference. The process is simple and well organised. No demands were made. Well done Sind Traffic Police. Keep up the good work.

Awesome experience at the driving license office in Nazimabad. I went on Saturday around 10 am, although there were a lot of people there everything was being carried out extremely systematically. From the guard at the gate to the lady at date entry, the staff is extremely helpful and well-mannered. I got done with my learners license in around 10 minutes. This is the standard that all government offices in Pakistan should follow.

1 pm to 2 pm is a break timings. They should eliminate the break because its a public office, they should manage their lunch and namaz as according other private institutions manage.This break waste a time of people

It was a better experience then 5 years back , process is now more smooth and fast. I renew my license. Only challenge is that you got token number but its not followed on any step. Its all depends how fast you move to next counter. I will give you some step to follow, it will help you in saving time.1. try to reach till 9 or 9:152. After showing your original ID card and Driving license(in case of renewal) get token number3 Go straight to data entry counter and he will give you another slip for payment after verifying your details in system4 pay that amount on payment counter, keep the change with you.5 then go to picture room , for picture6 then Medical room for eyesight7 last you need to submit all your documents on next counter ( its in separate hall ) + ( original license, copy of nic, payment slip and token. ) All you need to put these documents in one plastic bagIt took me 30 min to complete this process for license renewal

Great improvement, I went for my driving licence renew after 5 years. All process is very easy and simple. Just go with original valid NIC and a copy. I was free after fee submition, photo taken and eye testing and finally submit it in just 30min. Very satified.

Its better to arrange a relative in traffic police. otherwise youll have to pay some money to,get your license.

Now a days there are very improved works. I really appreciate to all team of driving license office. Especially for staff for easier to get licenses for females

Dont go there , i went there to renew driving licence all the procedure has done smoothly but the doctor who is testing your eyes are the worst doctor , he failed mostly people just because he want bribe, he told you site and ask letters in the mirror while close one eye, this procedure is not applicable and practiced anywhere in the world, however when my turned came i went inside he asked me english letters which i told him 100% perfect but then he changed into Urdu letters which is almost impossible to read any guy in mirror. Approximetly he failed 10 out of 8 people and 2 passed which paid him bribe. Please note that i have Saudi and UAE licence which i renewed recently and valid till 2029.

Today morning 08:45 am, I reached there and got a token at 09:30 am due to rush. I applied for permanent driving licence for the bike. Total fee paid 1213/- All process and test done by 12:30 pm. Staff was cooperative. It was a nice experience for me.

Went there in summer 2017. Long queues & congestion. No good arrangements for visitors to comfort them in terrible heat waves. No decent arrangement for ladies to go there for license. Mens party . I came back without applying for license renewal. Paid car parking. Staff cooperative. But infrastructure needs a great deal of improvement.

I went there for renewal they talk vallet charged parking fee than licence fee,photo for licence card,eye test than they ask for a card cover I dont know why. The said I would get licence within ten days. I get that after a couple of days. Although the delivery man was asking me for 100 rs for celebration of new licence renewal which I disagreed. What they call it mithai( sweet).

I reached here at 8.00 am for making a learning licence and wondered to see a long queue was already there. The office timing is from 9.00 am. The location of this licence office is very convenient. If you are coming from board office side just take left before petrol pump roundabout. If you are vcoming from liaquat abad take u turn under the bridge and go to left side street. I will update what happened inside the office.OK. The office opened at sharp 9.00 am. Inside the main gate there is a counter who was issuing the token very quickly after checking the NIC card. After taking the token, there was another queue. A staff sending the persons inside the hall. In the hall there was 4 to 5 counter who are calling the candidate and asking NIC. after entering the details on system which is taking just a minute they take the picture from webcame. And send to another counter who is collecting fee and giving printout of learning licence. The whole time it took after taking the token is about 30 minutes only. They have cooperative and prompt staff.
