Nice place to fulfill your desi food cravings. Goes without saying, the Balochi Tikka is a must have.

I was looking to experiencing something different and that’s what I got. Never had something similar before. Although, I’m giving the place 3 stars but that’s for hygiene and service, when it comes to food, especially their balochi tikka, it was right on the spot. Loved it!But their mutton karahi was average, as they don’t cook the meat in a wok, but cook it in a pressure cooker due to which the meat loses its texture.

Superhighway karachi has been iconic hub for restaurants since long time until disturbance started and the charm shifted to do dariya. However, things are better now and now we have seen more addition to few options which we had previously.One of them this famously known as al madina restaurant.Although it is a fact that they dont have proper service, seating area and ambience is not perfect as it should be but still when it comes to food and their secret recipes it is leading in all of them.To talk about Desi Asian karhai or BBQ they have best taste among other few restaurants.It is recommended to visit during winters, and have their special Balochi tikka. They have open kitchen service, where first select your meat whether if it is going to be chicken or mutton, then your spices and recipes later on, stand a side and watch your food getting ready in a pan.Price is also reasonable.Chicken cost 900rs/kg whereas mutton is 1800ra/kg.Usually in group gatherings the per head comes to almost 600rs to 800rs per person.

Worst restaurant ever. They were not giving us the menu card and they were charging 40 rs per person for roti, they didnt even told us about that, worst experience, no grass dusty atmosphere, unhygienic food, they were just busy in looting people

Good place for informal get together with family and friends. The best thing is sitting arrangement that is just like village. Delicious dish and speciality too is junglu karahi or u can say balochi tikka but what i like most is tea and the tandoori parataha they serve its taste is really awesome. We visit almadina just for jungli karahi once in a month.
