Well lit open space to dine n select food placed in the buffet! Servers are polite and prompt in their tasks. Food is of good quality and taste. The live starters bar was plentiful n tasty, dynamite prawns that were on the house were yummy, as well as the soups n main course. A hearty spread. Desserts need a lot of improvement which would tie in the whole dining experience as complete and satisfying all the same. I would give this place a 8 and a half out of 10. U definitely get your moneys worth while dining here

Ginsoy Live is perhaps the best buffet Chinese food restaurant in Karachi, specially in this price range. The offer a good variety of dishes covering all ends, sea food, veges, beef and chicken, deserts etc. The quality of cooking is quite good and one is tempted to overeat. We were specially impressed with the number of prawn / shrimp, fish and crab dishes. All were well cooked and serving was in plenty.Deserts were great too. A good value for money for those who eat lavishly. Will certainly go there again.There is a big parking area outside. Do reserve your seats in advance otherwise you may have to wait up to 45 minutes.

Since they have changed its recipe, it has gone down on my gin soy favourite list. Prawn balls in appetizers slightly smelled bad and tasted stale. Items from Salad bar didnt feel like freshly prepared. Desserts were just okay, nothing fabulous.Overall a fine experience.

This was my first visit to Ginsoy Live and the experience was great.The food was delicious and fresh and I like that they refilled the dishes a little at a time and not in huge quantities as this also ensures that food served is fresh. The buffet offered soups and several starters and the main course offered several delicious choices of fish, chicken and beef.They also had a wonderful desert section with a large variety of bite sized treats and if Ginsoy Live does not mind then I would suggest items like a few ice creams to cater to kids.The ambience was relaxing however they have limited seating hence I recommend that you reserve a table and get there as early as possible.Finally, their servers and restaurant Manager were very friendly and extremely courteous and they really made our visit worthwhile.Thank you Ginsoy Live, I will surely recommend your restaurant and hope to visit once again.

The variety has gone down considerably. Only beef and chicken cousines were available on buffet and that too were limited. They should have kept prawns and fish related dishes im buffet if not crabs. Highly disappointed!

Visited Ginsoy Live for lunch. A restaurant with good ambience. We were taken to our table which was booked by us. There were two choices of soup that were served on the table. Then a choice if three starters, There was a variety of mains including different types good food.

Im at a loss of words for how overpriced this place is. Food was extremely average. Nothing mind blowing or even surprising about it. The concept of Live was something even the waiters couldnt explain. It was just a regular restaurant with above average chinese food compared to other chinese restaurants but was highly overpriced and not worth the visit at all. Instead i regret going there. Do not recommend anyone to go there and I along with my whole family will also never go there again. A regular buffet for 7 people and 5 mint lemonades came to a total of 17000 PKR. EXTREMELY ANGRY AT HOW THE OWNER CAN LIVE LIKE THIS.

PATHETIC. Wish I could give it zero stars. They didnt have half the things on menu. The waiter didnt know which wish was being served. Kept saying all fish is red snapper and the manager came in and said they didnt have any red snapper. After 20 minutes of back and forth (what is available and what is not) we simply walked out. Guys - better to keep a restaurant closed than agitate potential customers!

JINSOY located on KHY- E- SHUJAAT and KHY- E- BUKHARI is a great venue for Lunch or Dinner. The restaurant had a previous branch that had a good reputation so when we were recommended the new venue we were keen to try it out.The whole restaurant is designed in a contemporary style with stylish combination of marble and paneling We were welcomed by charming female at the door and were then taken care by Nadeem Tariq who took are orders for Soups and beverages. Nadeem was very helpful and patient in explaining the features of the Buffet The choice in the Buffet was fairly extensive with a Salad and Starter bar. A good feature of the starter bar was that they had some items like the spring roll , butterfly prawns and wanton , all half cooked. Just make your selection and provide it to the Chef who would cook it for you and then serve them at your table A combination that would have me feasting my eyes on . Unfortunately most of the starter were either chicken prawn or fish. I however managed to find some combination of salads thar kept me going till my main course Pakistanis are mainly Carnivores and most restaurants cater to that demand. So it was bit of a struggle to find something Vegan Nevertheless I managed to find some Garlic rice and Stir Fry vegetables. However if you are a Carnivore like my wife , then you are spoilt for choices Lots of beef chicken fish and prawn options in the buffet Also we ordered some dynamite prawns that everybody tried ( except myself) and gave a big thumbs up. The ABC cocktail ( apple beetroot and carrot ) was really refreshing and tasty. Lots of dessert choices and fruit salads rounded out the after lunch. We had a pathetic experience by the food quality delivered to us. We ordered Manchurian, that was sour to even taste. While, stale rice was delivered that was giving out a stinky smell and the sticky texture made it worse.Greatly disappointed at how the restaurant decided to serve us.

If you like Ginsoy Ala Carte, you will surely like this place. A little crowded considering the small place, but definitely worth it. Delicious starters and soup that can be served on table as requested. Main courses were also amazing. Huge variety of desserts and green tea to top it off. Lastly, great service that incrreases the overall experience.

Great food. Amazing crabs. Took a kitchen tour which was amazing to see how clean they kept everything. Expiry dates on all frozen products. I advice everyone to go once. I was a little disappointed in the desserts which could be improved. The deserts were more desi. I would have love to see some more pastries and even a variety of cakes and other desserts.

Very bad quality. Theyre giving a discount but they have reduced and compromised their quality taste and standards. So please dont be made a fool by their discount. The flavour of ur mouth will destroy the happiness which youll (think u have by imagining the discount.)There are no free lunches in this World.Note: we didnt ask u to launch a discount offer. Good one time experience.But do not go thinking that food would be cooked live in front of you as the name might suggest and be fooled like I was. Instead it’s a full time buffet system with charges on bit higher side keeping in view the food quality and taste.Ambiance of the restaurant is not bad but the staff is not as helpful or friendly as they should be. Their fried items are half cooked kept for you to choose and fill a bucket and ask the chef to fry them fully for you. But this way these fried items are not well crisped and tasteful like you would enjoy frying it to the fullest at once. Fries were soggy, chicken wings got to hard to eat and I felt the food was chill from the center.This was my experience at this restaurant, not necessarily you might have the same as mine. If you like to try new places it’s your choice to give it a shot and create your own experience.

The buffet is amazing, the staff is extremely helpful and the taste is very good. However, they messed up our reservation and we had to wait for almost 40 minutes hence 4 stars. The place is small, dont forget to reserve before going.

The place is well designed and decorated. Their food selection was good. For a changa a buffet offers good food and variety. We liked the idea of love frying of starters. While main course was good their desserts were excellent. Highly recommended.

All you can eat Chinese (incl Dessert Bar!) with excellent food (variety and taste) and service! The dynamite prawns just kept coming . Giving a star less as we found it a bit too expensive (around Rs 2500/head with taxes and a special drink). Will surely visit again

Good quality food but starters were comparatively not up to mark but main courses were superb. Place is cosy and small. Its difficult to get space without reservation. In this buffet good drinks should be added up. It would cost approx 1800 inclusive tax for dinner.

One of the best buffets I have been to in Karachi. The layout is compact and the restaurant is designed for small groups. The sellection is limited but food is excellent.I would have given 5 stars however I have issues with their customer service. The cost of the buffet is higher than normal (justified by food and ambiance) but the customer service doesnt always reflect it. I visited with a group of 7 people and we were seated but certain items that are in the buffet had to be ordered, these items took a long time to come out and by that time we were done eating. Also, they push the cocktails and other drinks way too much. I like water with my food so it became annoying when I was asked half a dozen time.Would certainly recommend to anyone that like Pakistani style Chinese food but be wary of being bullied into buy stuff you dont want and not get the food youre paying for.

Excellent foods service appetizers. We were a party of 16 and the.manager was excellent and very accommodating. Let us sit with combining two tables for our large party and service was excellent. Appetizers are awesome, Dynamite prawns are not to be missed, or the soups. Good dessert selection also very classy.ambience! Manager was excellent.

They have failed to maintain the quality of food. Also, the quality and quantity of salad bar has slightly come down. Innovation and creativity is missing badly. Regarding dessert bar, i believe they should reconsider their menu selection strategy.

The food was excellent and staff very accommodating.

Really bad food. Very very spicy. Not Chinese at all. Better to eat at bbq tonite if you want to eat this much spices. Every dish on the buffet had either red chillies or black pepper. Way too much. Also the curry dishes had the same taste be it be chicken, beef or fish. Maybe the base paste is same for everything. The live portion is a total let down. Not worth spending Rs 2000 per head at this place. Will never visit again & will reccomend others to dont waste your money here.

I visited ginsoy live on 22nd Feb 2019 , Mr Farooq moral was good but service was too slow over all thrice times i have to ask for tissues then one waiter came up with just 4 tissues though i said them service is too slow then he replied back just for tissue papers wowwwwww,food trays were empty they were not refilling it my guests came and sit and they did not eat as they just eat desserts then i talked to Mr Farooq guests did not eat and there was no refill on time and he said its not our matter if guests ate only one item ,disgusting and total damage cost was Rs 13,000 thirteen thousand well money was not an issue but for what we are paying for at leaast we should get service for that and atleast food trays should better be refill time to time highly disappointed guests came from Oman and they were like what is it , highly disappointed May Allah give you barkat in your rizq but i will suggest u all from my experience not to go with guests because their services are not up to mark
