Big Grand Masjid, Zohr Salah offered at 1:30 pm and Jummah Salah offered at 1:35 pm. Very good, Beautiful, clean and maintained masjid. The foundation of the Masjid laid in 1992.The masjid is located inside the Askari III, which is a covered society with a boundary wall. Masjid faces Askari houses, where as Askari Apartments are on the back of Masjid.The prominent places in nearby are Jinnah Hospital, NICVD, on the back side of the society. The Cantt Railway Station is in front side of the society.

Housing scheme for Army Retired officers consist of 56 blocks (1 block/8 Apartments) and 55 Banglows.

Attended a mela that was held for kids last night. Stalls had food items and games for kids where as a puppet show was also held. One stall that caught my eye and served wholesome and fresh home baked products was that of Oh So Yum. The cheesy breads were mouthwatering, the sandwich was delicious, and the cake was worth the price charged; super tasty. I look forward to ordering and trying out their other items in the future.

Ideally located for those having there work place around. Apparently had a parking issue too for residents

Its a really safe and secure place with all the basic facilities present within the Askari.

Well maintained and centrally located. Security was satisfactory. Roads and parking space is the main usp of this society. Price range not friendly for everyone but quality living cost that much..

Im here around since 2008.Despite having facilities like average security, 24hrs water supply, bank, shops, they seriously need to upgrade their dated infrastructure like blind entrance which caused road rage and few accidents at the exit, lack of drainage system for roads and mosque which caused serious flooding during unexpected rains, poor parking lot for cars, motorcycles, etc, and lack of grass on the ground next to a mosque which is the only reason why this place gets really dusty. Also, some owners here dont have some manners, or show respect to others.

Despite its classy outlook, the higher price tags and the community that feels alive and safe owing to the secure surroundings, Askari 3 is one of those places where you will find drug addicts smoking away in the community park and apparently no one is bothered by that. Keeping the fact in consideration that there are many children who are playing around the streets, this serves as a threat to them and their wellbeing. The park too shows that it was not taken care of as it is barren and has barely a patch of grass that is visible to the eye. Classy living calls for a classy maintenance but this certainly lacks in that department.

Good but little apartment

Spent 25 years here. Excellent place to live.great neighbours. No load shedding. Decent shopping area. But the flats are not maintained. Very few army officers left. Mostly civilians from interior. The complex is VERY central. Hannah hospital, army house, drig road and the station are walking distance. Security isnt as strict as it is in a Askari 4 and 5 which is cause of concern.

Excellent connectivity, lovely constructed and spacious apartmens in the heart of Karachi city near cantt railway station. Houses are also there. Small market, masjid and playground for children are Important to mention. Escalator / lift is not there which is a disadvantage for elderly people living. Security is not an issue as its very near or inside Karachi cantonment area. Overall a very good place to live.

One of most safe places to live in Karachi. A little old but well maintained apartment complex.It has a great big Masjid and a play ground plus shops to buy basic things.I have some really fond memories of this place.

Nice apartment complex. Safe and secure surroundings with nice people living. Park and ground for children to play. Nice market where most groceries can be done. Nice big jama masjid. Each apartment is allotted a garage as well. Prices are pretty high but apartment buildings are now old and maintenance hasnt been up to the mark.

Clean and peaceful. Although not entry check in, we drove right in without being asked to stop.

I stayed here for 2 years about 17 years back after 17 years visited place for some reason found huge difference in present and past too manyvehicles compound is over saturated rather over populated undue cutting of 25 years old trees i saw with my own eyes due to parking issuesfrankly speaking its not of that worth as it was beforebest thing in this society is only its location nownothing more than this
