It was a good experience for us to dine in Royal Taj Restaurant. Good location, ample parking. Good seating arrangement, friendly and very neat and clean environment. Good listeners. Food taste is excellent with lots of varieties. I must say you people should go and have dinner out there. And finally dont forget to taste Kulfee its on the right side of the parking lot.

This is one the best mid ranged restaurants meeting the standard of a full service restaurant in city of Karachi.The ambience is quite fancy with an interior design giving a look of medieval Europe, the walls are picturesque and furniture is well selected to portray a historic view inside.We tried most of the menu items and found everything cooked to taste and delicacy. The food was served hot and presentation was also good.The cost of the menu is quite reasonable and suitable for groups and small parties.Recommended to you for trying at least once.

Handi was perfect but they are zero in karahi. Their garlic nan is best.

I went to royal taj the most hyped restaurant yesterday. The location is fine (situated in main gulshan area) enough space for parking but valet parking is not available which is for me a negative mark. Now coming to the ambience and interior both the things were on average side they have done pretty well with the outdoor and roof top sitting area but painting teal color on every wall inside makes their interior look shabby , there were 3 birthday parties going on so the waiters were quite busy . Food we ordered include paneer tikka platter and full bar b q platter for 4*paneer tikka*Square cubed cottage cheese marinated in tikka masala was served with steamed rice and ketchup which doesnt make any sense to me but ignoring ketchup part it was spiced and cooked perfectly.Bar B q platter for 4We were 4 so we happily order this but when got served most of the things in the platter were in 3 pieces each. 3 grilled prawns were supper tasty with crispy smoked tail, 3 gola kebabs were ok more on the Salter side, reshmi kebab were average, chicken green masala boti and chicken tikka boti were good perfectly cooked in most appropriate spices and there were 2 other type of kebabs also with cheese topping not sure about their names tastes like Turkish one . To our surprise there were no sign of beef boti but 3 extreme overly cooked mutton chops were present in the platter my last disappointment was they serve platter with complementary rice but no roti ( you have to order naan separately) i mean who eat bar b q with rice. I am not going there again #msorryTotal damage was 4500

Simply Loved It!We had our team lunch over here and it was the first time we dicided to try Royal Taj Restaurant.They have enough space for car parking in front of restaurant.The ambience is really really royal. As you enter inside you get that royal feeling. The interior is excellent, color scheme of walls is also well picked. Painting on the walls are nice.Food is simply delicious. Whatever we tried was tasty. Specially the BBQ kabab, presentation of kababs were very nice.Service was considerably slow but when the lunch was served it was all fresh.I can say, Royal Taj Restaurant RECOMMENDED!

Today we had lunch at RoyalTaj Gulshan.Overall it was a pleasant experience. Having such a nice place in gulshan is a blessing. It had a proper parking place, there were multiple sitting options, we opted for indoor area. The interior had a royal touch to it from table ware to the beautifully crafted pillars.Coming to food, we ordered murgh angara, kabab platter and palak paneer.Murgh angara was something we had never tasted before, the gravy was spot on and the chicken was just tender enough to melt in mouth. Palak paneer was perfect, however the barbq tasted ok, nothing special to write about. Finished the meal with qulfi which was satisfying.Bill: 2800 including softdrink, mineral water, nan and paratha.

The service was very fast...trained humble staff and utterly delicious food. I never had such soft and tasty kulchas and naan. The RT special soup was very tasty and mouth watering. I rated 5/5, but they just need to work on their roof top side.

I dont know what to say, but one thing is for sure that this place has really disappointed me in terms of food quality. Everything here perfect except the food. Shish Kebab were tasteless, chowder soup was like brothel of bread and some chunk of prawns. Shahjahani handi was the only food which we liked w.r.t taste. Something is really wrong with the chef here which management needs to think fast and resolve in order to sustain there business. Otherwise CZ is adjacent to this restaurant which leaves no competitor stands in its way.

Peshawari karhai, chicken fried rice were not tasty. Reshmi kabab was also not tasty, even any chatni could have been served to make it better. Roof top environment was pathetic, fans were not working properly. Service was fine, but taste of food was not good

Highly recommended for families and for group of people. just little thing stuff was little bit lazzy may be you can say. they should improve.Great experience overall.

Went to Royal Taj with my friends for lunch. Ambiance was great. Loved the interior. Service was extremely slow. We had to call the waiters to remind them. But overall experience was really good. Had a great time there. Its affordable too.

4.5 stars actually. Very tasty food. Very nice and friendly staff. But the place is usually a bit crowded and somewhat conjusted. But its tolerable.

Great ambiance, delicious food and wonderful service. Spacious, Accessible, and play area for kids too. But, they keep the music so loud in the restaurant that you cant even talk to the person besides you. We keep complaining about it but they never bothered to slow it down.

When i saw this place from outside i was amazed by its looks. It was great until i got in, it was very congested for sitting and moving. There tables were so small that if you ordered 3 to 4 items you have to pick your plates in your hands to adjust those dishes.But on the other hand food was good. They introduced a new mutton dish and it worth a try.

Delicious food, nice presentation, courteous staff, but one star due to depressing color & environment. Dark color theme of walls was like eating awesome food in dungeon Like the name of restaurant, color theme should be royal too - snow white shining colors of wall with golden or silver color on all carvings - just a suggestion to improve the ambiance...!!

Visited last Sunday with family. The location is good as situated on a busy famous road. The atmosphere was ok but nothing special. Also the food taste was I found quite normal. We had a grilled platter for family including different bbq items. It was all ok but not so so yummy. Also the prices are higher as compared to the other similar restaurants in Karachi. I will give 3.5 out of 5.

Initially when they started, their quality of food was worth spending but now they have started looting people, food quality below average, quantity not sufficient for even 1 person. Prices have substantially increased. Total waste of time & money. Extremely disappointed.
