Trail 5 is located near to constitution Avenue near parliament house and PM house. A very good trail. Due its well maintained and easy track (as compared to other trails) its recommended for day trip and comparatively less fit personnel. Always a good trip to trail 5. Pakistan Rangers is guarding continuously to feel us safe

Beautiful. A perfect hideout from your daily hustled life.This trail is perfect for someone who doesnt know anything about hiking but would love to experience it. It also has a gorgeous waterfall, perfect for family hangouts and camping as well.

Today first time I visited.. trail 5... it was really an awesome experience... it’s really hard to travel on track... one need to be healthy with good heavy dressing in winters... with best hiking shoes... its not just walking... its about climbing a mountain... you need best shoes and good health... there are some resting spots... you may rest... and enjoy your trip...Good managed by CDA .. its a clean place... security staff petrolling for security.

It is one of the best walking trail in Islamabad. It can be completed within two hours and goes from easy to difficult and steep. You need to have good shoes, drinking water and stamina to complete the trail. You can see beautiful streams, different species of flora and fauna, different birds and wild life including deer and monkeys. The best season to complete this trail is the milder one i.e February to April and October to mid December.

1. This trail is good, u will require sandals bcz this trail have water streams every few hundred meters and you cannot remove ur shoes everytime. Also water streams are not deep, lower than knees.2. A staff person is sitting in the beginning of trail to safe keep your belongings and check your the bags you are carrying.3. Drinking water can be found in the beginning of trail and also the trail guide.4. Also include wild plants nursery.

Serenity is the word that I would use for this place. At the foot of Margalla Hills... within 3 to 4 minutes you are transported to another world..away from the noise and haste of city to heart of nature where the only sounds are rustling of leaves, flowing water, chirping of birds, panting joyous voices of the trekkers. It about 4 to 5 KM to the top. Lots of places on the way to sit down, take some rest, photography and absorb the purity of this place. Wear comfortable clothes and trekking shoes.

Right in the heart of the Capital, the starting point to an amazing singleton state. The serene quite jungle where no pets, guns and smoke is allowed. Families and singles keeping up the pace. Nice place.

The trail is good for a hike. Not that hard to hike on plus its a cold hike even in a hot weather. The trail has a nice path, they do not allow littering of any manner so that is also good. Good place to gi and hike if your looking for peace and exercise.

Its a wonderful track for hiking with a beautiful water fall and different plants. You may also enjoys the natural music of birds and sounds from trees.

A nice and easy hiking trail for all family members surrounded by beautiful landscape.

Always love this trail. Pleasing at the start, challenging at the end. The best thing is you can also take kids and elderly with you and return at the point they get exhausted. Its difficulty level increases as you go up so you can return from any point that you think difficulty level is getting beyond you.

Flat trail in the start with scenic views all over. Families can go upto Water springs. After that track is more steep. Do take backpacks as eatables not allowed in Shopping bags.

Should have description of the path as it connects many. Maps dont work in the middle due to loss of signals. You can enter the dangerous track without proper guidance. Steep at the end.

Well well, trail 5 is fun so many people on weekend even from other cities . Personally i like trail 3 for hiking because it is best for hikers. Trail 5 is just for fun and for friends who want to go on long walk.

Its great trail for hiking and relatively easier than trail 3. Its two and a half hours hike to the top and one can easily return by grabbing a taxi from Pir Suhawa road on the top..

Trail 5 is the best hiking and walking track in Islamabad. Nature around the track is very well preserved. Fresh air, water streams, trees, mountains and a lovely aroma of the forest makes it a refreshing spot. A number of celebrities and foreigners can be seen there, enjoying a lovely walk in the evening. There is a lovely compound in the base of the track where a few huts made of wood and straw used to look exceedingly beautiful but due to neglect of the management, they are no more in a presentable condition.

Word of advice, avoid taking shortcuts. The trail ascends and descends back to Monal road. So, dont expect any plain areas for sight seeing.
