A very active department in providing quick Justice. Online complaint are also accepted. It has a very good computerized system which is playing vital role in quick services. The IT team is very hard-working.other departments should follow in this matter.

I want to left my complain because my issue is resolved any body know how can i do this.

The people having complaints with different Govt. departments, should contact WM for solutions and they will have a pleasant surprise because of the performance dedication and commitment of this department. Its work ,conduct, attitude and performance can proudly be compared with any European, American etc office.

The office of Wafaqi Mohtasib (Ombudsman) was established in 1983 by the President Order I of 1983. The main functions entrusted to Wafaqi Mohtasib were to diagnose, investigate, redress and to rectify any injustice done to public through mal-administration of an agency of the Federal Government. By this order a speedy, and inexpensive mode of removal of grievances against the state was provided to the public. The Mohtasib was given vast jurisdiction to investigate into the affairs of all the offices of the Federal Government, except the Supreme Court, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Federal Shariat Court and the High Courts. He could investigate any complaint, except in respect of matters which are sub judice or which relates to external affairs or the Armed Forces. The Supreme Court of Pakistan (PLD 1989 SC 109) appreciated this extended jurisdiction of the Wafaqi Mohtasib in redressing public grievances caused due to maladministration of an agency of the Federal Government and observed that this institution is the most appropriate forum for the purpose

No powers at allJust gives u an order that u win the case against xyz in paper form & u will attend there meetings with 0% results......until u die.....Should be closed because just a waste of tax payers money.

Just typical Pakistani system without any outcome. This system is just consolation to people that they will help but ends without implementation or positive result.

Is there any option for zero star? They dont even deserve to sit in those luxurious cabins, and get paid from our tax money, office was full of morons apart from the reception people at ground floor, Hafiz khokhar sb was my appointed representative from wafaqi mohtasib and he took only two minutes to decide the case against much stronger side PIMS. You people will surely be asked on the day of judgement.
