Came here for Renewal, Due to COVID Restrictions, they are targeting 300 persons per day. So reach here maximum by 8:30, after 300 Count they do not entertain any body. Copy of CNIC is Must. And if your License is Expired more than 3 Years then there is an application needed to Higher Authorities which obviously takes more time. Good Luck for Your Visit. Thanks

Be ready for lots of mismanagement, Long cues. All the counters never work together so u shall wait a lot :)Typical sarkari ambiance, mostly least bothered staff taking breaks and creating issues.Be ready for a half day job as u wont get free before that.

They still take too much time despite their system has been improved much.First teaching class starts at 9:30 am.No rush for ladies. But too much crowd for men.Good point : strict driving test which will result in good/expert drivers

Licence renewal process:1. Come between 9-10am2. Bring original CNIC, Original expired driving licence and most important copy of your CNIC3. Go to the counter and have your services done.

I got renewed my license in only two hours by paying Rs.1150. I reach there with photocopies of CNIC and of my expired license at 9am. I got a token # 108. CNIC and its copy is compulsory. After waiting for about 1 and half hour I went to the counter and received my printed license in just 20 mins. 5 stars.

Islamabad Police much appreciated for this operation. however they need many more counters to accommodate the overwhelming crowd and parking area is way too small.

System is good and service is great but there is heavy load on this office. Government should make more traffic Police offices.

Go the NHMP office in H/8 if possible since its not crowded at all and not only is the location nicer, but the staff is also more courteous.ITP is a mess, parking is a hassle and the line up is impossibly long.NHMP will process people from any part of the country whereas the ITP only caters to those with an ISB address as per your ID card

Take your lunch with you :-)You are gona spend more than 2 or 3 hours if you go after 9 am.Do not expect any ACs.There is a Masjid for prayerThere is a canteen with daal, sabzi and roti :-)

I got my license at first since I am a perfect driver but I hated the staff due to their irresponsible behaviour and rude attitude no friendly environment is found you have get all the details before from internet or any other source of information because no one will guide you their what and how to do.
