Located between Howdy and Sarai Bistro which are Western / Italian style restaurants, Sattar Baksh has an absolutely local outlook and to say the least, its quite impressive. On entrance, one comes across a unique ambiance and a very thoughtfully organised decor reflecting Pakistani culture as well as history in a very effective way. Its hard to overlook the decor and pass by without taking a snap or two. Indeed an imaginatively conceived interior. They have a nice outdoor seating arrangement too which is good enough in summer.However, we werent there to take photos of the lovely interior only and wanted to have a nice cup of coffee with some snacks too. At the entrance we asked the waiter about the availability of good coffee and he remarked that we will get the best coffee in the town in Sattar Baksh. We soon realised that their idea of the best coffee was absolutely misconceived. What we were served was not a brewed coffee but a spoon of instant coffee powder mixed in hot water. It was a big disappointment and when we asked the waiter about the brewed coffee, he had no idea what it is and kept insisting that what he is serving is the best we can get. Not very impressed.

Sattar Buksh as its name is the hybrid of both western and Eastern culture.You can enjoy the western food or culture with the Desi vibes.Food and epically the coffee over here is really good.Both Desi and Fast food is very delicious and mouth watering.Its attract a very good crowd.It provide out door seating which is wonderful to enjoy live music as well and enjoy the weather.The staff is friendly and cooperative.You will surely enjoy here.

Its one of the best places to have lunch/dinner when you have a little desi on your mind. Relatively economical prices with a very cooperative staff. The place is also very aesthetic so its ideal to have a cup of tea with the views!

1st visit the café. It has been renovated beautifully. Ambiance inside gives such a pleasant atmosphere alongside good choice of music being played in the background with sufficient lighting arrangement. Ordered Cream with mushrooms soup, buffalo wings in the starter. then had tenderloin steak in main course. every item tasted divine. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Behaviour of general manager and their staff was awesome. Their staff ensured that everything was delicious and well-cooked. Highly recommended for fast food and barbecue dishes.

Went to the place after its renovation, its fresh and clean. Ordered fries and namkeen wings with kadak tea. Tea was ok rest was 10/10. Good place to have a chit chat and nice evening meetup.

Well.... Tea is REALLY good. But I wouldnt recommend it for food. But if you wanna hangout with a few friends over tea and a smoke, this is one of the best places in the capital

And likewise, I had thought that the menu would be authentic as well but I suppose I had too high expectations.Ambiance; 9/10Food: 5/10Staff: 10/10~ very cooperative, very courteous, they listened very attentively to my complains about the food being bland and that I appreciate a lot. The service can be a little slow but I can easily over look it the slow service over their kind attitude.

The chicken inpasta and wings and karahi smelled and tastedgross, sort of not properly washed chickensIn our plate .. Only burger was edible, and pasta Without chicken was fine,soup was again a NO ho puts all the onion fromstore in hot n sour?Fries and mayo sauce weregood,no doubt, but quantity was less for the price. Overall.. Total wastage of money.

A good restaurant at an extraordinary location in company of few other very good restaurants. Theme of place will attract you at first sight and then menu names will bring about a smile on your face. Food is normally good here, known mostly for its daal chawal but i will also recommend firangi fish and chips plus tea as well (as something that i have had personally). They have a non smooking hall, open air serving area, terrace serving and even a smooking room. Place also screen events on LED and projector. Easily a place to visit. I will give give it 7.5 out of 10 for food. 9 out of 10 for location and envoirnment.

Really bad experience at Sattar Bukhsh.An extremly over rated place with low quality tea. Ordered kashmiri pink tea . We were the only customers at Sunday noon with one more couple who was sitting in balcony.After waiting for good 45 minutes ( when we were about to leave) we got half filled cups of pink coloured cold watery fluid with a few specks of pistachio flaoting in it.I was really taken aback to see this Onchi dukaan , pheekay pakwan Felt bad for the loss of my hatd earned money. Rs. 200 for this so called kashmiri chai which we couldnt drink even & left as such !
