The peaceful environment of National library of Pakistan make you visit the place again and again. Once you go there youll never be able to forget the calmness of this place. Highly recommended place from readers or those who are wandering for peaceful place.

This is one of the biggest and a beautiful library in the twin city, located behind the Prime Ministry Secretariat, besides other libraries. I have been to this library most of my spare time, weekends, as a regular visitor over the last decade. But the library management of has similar taste in their dealing and approach to services as any other public sector department in the country. If you ask for new arrived books, first you wont get it but if you luckily found anyone, they will ask you to read here in the library from 9 am -7 pm. You are not allowed to borrow the books to read in your leisure time outside the library, which has locked thousands of good books inside the bookshelves over the years with dust in peace. If you go further to make your library card to get one, it has also a funny process , to get your application form attested from a gazetted officer of a public sector having grade 17 & above. Umm, its 21st Century, dont make simple process a bureaucratic one. Washrooms are filthy, water cooler stinks and cafeteria is subsidized for students/readers with low quality of food. All is not bad, it has a prime location, beautiful decorated halls, crippling internet facility and last but not the least a peaceful place to get spiritual reading! You will find in the library hundred of students from across the country preparing for competitive exams, entry tests and academic preparation and also students of different universities and colleges.

This is amazing place for people who love reading and writing.it has 3 floors and it offers vary calm and cozy place for all citizens if they want to read, write or do any kind of activity relevant to education. there are public restrooms, reading rooms, journals, magazines are available for readers from all over the country.you only need to make an entry in the register. it is also open during weekends.it offers prayer room as well on top floor. the view from top of the building is awesome.although it is not open on all days. highly recommended for students.

NLP has got very well maintained and Readers friendly atmosphere.Membership fee is only RS.300.Book lending procedure is quite cumbersome though, overall this place is a blessing for the aspirants of Competitive examinations and those who wanna study for long hours in conducive atmosphere.Lincolns corner is another Plus of NLP wherein all facilities for readers are present .

Splendid place for those who love reading books. Pakistan is a country where book reading is not a priority area. People have least interest in book reading. But this library is one of the sources for encouraging people to come for books reading or doing researches. Good inside and outside environment but renovation in some areas is required. Transport system needs to be introduced to help people visit this place conveniently.

One of best place for study. A very quiet, clean and conducive environment this place has got. There are study rooms, cabins and halls in this library. One can also find number of books in this library. It is located in the red zone of Islamabad sector G 6.

A very well modified library for studying and preparation purpose

A nice library but has a rather unnecessary rulethat forbids you from taking a bag inside. You’re allowed to take your books and laptop etc out of the bag and keep it with you but just not allowed to take a physical bag inside. For someone who likes to have access to a water bottle, multiple chargers, notebooks, a pencil box etc the rule makes studying a little more of a hassle - when a library should be doing the exact opposite.

PNCA hosts some of the very best events including theatre events, music festivals, art and craft exhibitions in Islamabad. Its ideal location and well maintained galleries and lawns make it an ideal place for holding of any quality event.

Amazing environment. Clean and silent halls for study purpose. Space available for general discussions. I recommend, everyone to go there and taste the food of study.

A national library with huge number of books. Kids library also here. Any citizen of pakistan above the age of 20 years can get membership after fullfilment of prescribed conditions. Membership form is available on its official website. Its a good place readers.

A really nice place for students and researchers, theres everything you can expect from a library. Moreover, the halls are well cleaned and also OPAC from where you can get info. The only thing is to do that before you entering, you have to register your name, father name and cnic. And give your cnic or student card to the security and then you can go inside. The important thing is that you can get easily access to the computer which already has internet connections. The environment is beyond the class.

An excellent resource for researchers. Staff is very cooperative. In addition, the Lincoln Reading lounge provides access to internet facility. Moreover, lending division allows readers to issue books for 14 days. However, membership is required for using resources of the library.

Is mulk mai agr koi nojawan juwa khailnay k addu pay jayay, fahashi k marakix mai jayay,ghair mulki cultures say manus honay walay cinema halu mai jayay to koi roknay toknay wala nai.... laikin prnay k leyay,apnay mustakbil ko sawarnay k leyay,weekends pay national library jayay to ounhay ye keh kr drwaxay say wapis keya jata h u r not graduate,u r under 20..... plz if any one can put his part to root up this new and ridiculous rule.... just put his part for the sake of the youth and thefuture of Pakistan.... Thanx...May Almighty Allah bless the loving and sincere pillars of this Nation!! Ameen
