DRSM Central Library QAU, This is a huge library having a large collection of books on almost every subject. There are around 2 lac books in total. It has 3 floors and all with alot of shelves filled with different fields books.There is a proper sitting arrangements on each floor in order to read and research.

Dr. Raziuddin Siddique Memorial is well known as CL Central Library in Quaid.e.Azam University. Its 2nd biggest Library in ICT.

It is Better but not best. It needs some improvement.

The Central Library is one of the best Libraries in any university in Pakistan equipped with all the Latest Technologies. Best place for studying. It is very crowded During mid terms and Terminals.

Missing golden days.

Probably the most organized and largest library of Islamabad after the National Library. Comprising of four floors the library houses every basic need other than free Wifi. Yes, you wont get an open wifi connection here. The telenor signals are pretty bad on the first floor as well. You get Charging ports, bathrooms are almost on all floors but they need a lot of improvement. Theres a place to pray on the fourth floor as well. From digital archives to really old collections to classic books the library has all. I really think the second floor is the only place that is well kept and quiet. Incase you want to indulge in discussions and group work the first floor is the most ideal.Other than that they should really increase the time span in which the library card is issued. Other than that its quiet a peaceful place.

What I want to know is when theyll fix the buzzing of the tubelights on all the floors? And why is there no free WiFi for students/faculty? Some chairs in the computer lab are so dysfunctional they screech when u push them. I still havent found a good place to open my computer and work. In the winters its cold and in the summers the noise of fans is so loud. Mphil PhD section needs more individual desks chairs than the ugly green sofas. What annoys ME THE MOST is having to dump everything out of my bag to take upstairs with me in hands. They should lock all the books or install machines that read barcodes instead of causing so much distress for people. The best place is the mens prayer area and ladies cant go to sit and study there. Libraries are warm inviting places. There is so much potential but no proper direction at CL. And no comments for bathroom maintenance. Checked once vowed never to go back.

Central Library at Qau is a great place for students, teachers and all other book lovers. It has a lot of books, journals, magazines, thesis, newspapers etc. It has so many quite areas for the students and visitors. It is best place for css and other related exams preparation. It has fotocopier facility, computer lab,clean restrooms, drinking water and prayer room as well.

Dr. Raziuddin Siddiqi Memorial Library (central library) is located at the center of university academic campus. Central library shifted from the departmental premises to its own building in 1985, comprising four floors in 1985. The total covered area of DRSM library is about 102,500 sq. ft. An impressive, tall, four storey building of Central library facing glorious fountains is situated at the heart of the main University campus. Viewing from front, the Central Library building presents exceptionally inspiring natural scenes of Margalla hills.Central Library was re-named as Dr. Raziuddin Siddiqi Mermorial (DRSM) Library on 06-02-1999 to recognize and remember the meritorious services of the founder Vice Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University.
