PIMS Hospital is a big facility it has a separate hospital for Children which is really great everything separate for children. My daughter was admitted over here and 99% of the doctors were very good, caring and kind however attitude of laboratory staff, XRay staff, Ultrasound staff was very rude they think they own this this hospital and everyone is there servant. These technicians dont treat humans like humans and also those trolly which are used to carry garbage, oxygen cylinder and other stuff makes huge sound and disturb patients. Sitting area outside is very nice but people dont take care of it and throw garbage everywhere.

Worst experience of my life... Dont ever go to pims. Such inhuman staff, no sympathy for human life. I myself am mbbs doctor and seeing there behavior as a whole from security guard to nurses to medical officers to pg trainees i saw animals in shape of human. I m thinking of switching my career after this.. i dont want to be like this

They have improved a lot , but still there is a lot of room for improvement.Staff is very competent but patient flux is beyond manageable.Infrastructure needs to be seriously improved.This hospital is doing its best in given resources.Emergency is very good, better than any private hospital, however care after emergency is not that good.Govt should have constructed equivalent hospital in g13 side to share the load.

I wonder how some people Gabe this hospital five stars, just like any other gov hospital this place is over crowded with rude staff. I I went there for fitness certificate to travel abroad.And just as I expected I had to wait in line for an hour or so after that they told me that a nurse will come and she will write down to tests, I waited for the nurse for an hour no one came there. so I left the building and went to Polly clinic dispensary.

One of the cleanest facilities under the govt. Staff is extremely cooperative only if you are nice to them as well. Hospital does have some issues with regards to facilities for welfare. but If govt. pays enough attention to them these issues can also be resolved.

Worst place any patient can be in children emergency. Today i had to visit for my son for high fever and fits but it was tge worst place first they check him nothing they did not even checked his temperature. How could they they did not even had thermometer. After much questioning they did checked and wrote some injunction and when went to take injection. nurse did not even inject she said doctor did not wrote even that was written in prescription. Even my child has cannula in his foot nurse insisted and did take blood from his arm because she was sitting in chair and not want to move around to tske out blood for test from already cannula.

I have one papers to get signed be doctor and I visited 8 times in 3 weeks but still Im unable to get my work done.

Went today with my baby at pims childern hospital in emergency, they treated very badly. On duty lady doctor apne cabin main free bethi thi, they were not taking any patient in emergency. Behaviour of staff and doctors are very rude. They meant if anyone is going to die within few minuts the he can avail checkup in emergencyAik hazar laanat pims k har doctor or staff par jo Logo ko zaleel o khuar kartay taa k patient in k apne private clinics par janay k liye majboor ho jayenOr security guards aysa behave karain gay k woh hospital ka malik or ap koi bhikari

Overall its a good Govt. hospital with multiple facilities.However, there is a rush of patients. As a result, sometimes the tretment goes late. The madical history of admitted patient is maintained well and the visits of Doctors are on proper time. Patients come from almost all over the country that is the proof of good facilities.The attendents of patients are not provided accomodation which is a weak area.

No doubt its a very famous government hospital of Islamabad but it needs some serious improvements:1)- Emergency department needs employees specially nurses. Staff is so casual as if they are in a garden. Leaving patients on their own.2)- OPD needs improvement in ventilation and air conditioning.3)- New laboratories should be construed to divide the burden patients.Steps to perform in Emergency:1)- Make slip of patient from the counter outside the entrance gate of emergency.2)- Take the stretcher by giving you ID card.3)- After entering show slip to the counter in front of entrance gate to get number.4)- Go to respective doctor office.

New emergency is better for less serious patients. Cleaner than old emergency. Better experience than older one.

Once the role model for public sector hospitals... Pims has deteriorated considerably down the years...considering the large influx of patients from within Islamabad , Rawalpindi n adjacent provinces ...its resources have been stretched time n again but as I always say to the patients n their attendants thats once you understand its system... There is no better hospital than pims. Ofcourse it gets hectic hassling through the ER and in OPD s but you will find the best brains... Medical and surgical specialists all striving hard to serve the patients. And the new executive director has done tremendous job in renovations n cleanliness of the hospital

My first visit to this hospital for House-job inquiry. They say induction will in start in May, 40 places are available. There is an exam for it, if you make it to the Merit list, you’ll have a paid House-job or else they can’t even assure unpaid HJ. It seems to be the best hospital for HJ though.

Its one large general hospital in area, where paitent comes from long distance area like Kashmir.There is no proper cleaning here, needs lot of maintenance work with proper planning

Just like every government hospital they treat you like Animal. My cousins foot was badly injured in accident and they took it for granted and they said they will cut it off after 4 days. So we picked him and went to QIH where they saved his foot and now he is recovering...
