They messed up big time. I think they let go all professional staff during pandemic and are left with new amateur staff.

Marriot Hotel is the name of class, Marriotts stay and its build is one the best hotels as ever. Food is awesome, because at capital Territory islamabad its located in Red Zone thats why security is best. Most of the best institutes are adjacent to it. Marriott hotel is mostly booked by Elite class, or social development sector arranged seminars there. We all have choices on where we spend our hard earned money. In islamabad, most people get very limited vacation time and when youve been saving all year for that one or two week vacation with your family you have the right to expect to be taken care of. Marriott takes care of you. In fact, in my experience Marriott goes above and beyond to always cater to the needs of their customers so their guests can have one less thing to worry about when they finally have free time to relax with family and friends. Their rewards program not only rewards you for your stays but also ensures that you have 24/7 customer service so your stay and your choice to spend your money at the many diverse Marriott brands will be a choice you can feel good about.

They did a nice job at dry cleaning my suit. The decor of this hotel is horrible and outdated to Marriotts standards that I have seen across the world. They can do a better job at updating their hotel to be more nice and modern.

We had dinner buffet @ Nadia Coffee Shop on 27-12-2020.I was shocked to witness that more than 60% of the customers were not wearing mask while taking food/standing in queue.Though I diverted attention of the Restaurant staff towards this gross violation of COVID-19 SOPs, still, they didnt do much and, just half-heartedly asked a customer or two to wear mask and thats it.Absolutely disgusting. Never expected this from Marriott

They serve High tea with live music.Its exprnsive with moderate tasts but I have seen people are not following Corona SOPs .

Chinese restaurant is excellent and more economical than outside ordinary restaurants if you are privilege member card holder. Today it cost me 257 rupees for two members soup serving, the quality was outstanding.

A 5 star located in one corner of the twin cities. Nice Rooms. Food is good but not perfect or comparable to other restaurants in the city. Very expensive as well, even by international standards.

Stayed here for 12 nights, hotel services good. Over priced dinner in the Nadia restaurant and most of food bland and with little substance. Dinned in the Italian restaurant on numerous evenings and felt the food was flavourless apart from the pizza, furthermore staff not great and only effective at billing.. Nice hotel property but weak FNB services for premium sought.

If u want to relax in a hotel atmosphere away from the market place but still be walking distance to the markets n shops. In the very ambience of the original Islamabad .. plus has excellent buffet breakfasts brunches and has the best massages in town.

Today, I finally ended my 7 month long quarantine hiatus with a hi-tea at Marriott.Really enjoyed their finger sandwiches, chow mein, fried fish and haleem....And the chocolate cupcakes and mango tarts are a real treat with the tea....Its called a hi-tea but it is as filling as a lunch. Also happy to see that the staff took precautionary measures and had masks on and there were sanitizers available at the entrance.I would recommend!

Having hi-tea buffet at Nadia (Marriott islamabad) is not worth a single penny. Just stay away from it.Tasteless food (savoury items)Cakes were good and fresh. Ambience is good. Calm and gentle place. But one cannot compensate bad food for all these goodnesses.Better to spend on Ala carté of some good restaurant.

We all know that Marriott is one of the top line hotels in Islamabad. Food, accommodation, cleanliness everything is good. Its just the more that the more you spend the more you get.

Not a 5 star hotel as claimed by the management. An average hotel which has little or no competition in Islamabad. Went for breakfast and lunch both. Only Nadia was open. Below average tasteless food @ 3500 Rs per person. Nothing pricey about it. The only good thing was M F Hussain’s art.

There are a lot of dining options in hotel for lunch and dinner. I had a great time during my stay at Marriot and of course want to stay again on my next visit to Islamabad.

Stayed at Marriott Islamabad for one night. Hotel is state of art with majestic ambience and hospitality. Room was clean and spacious.Only issue I had was miscommunication from front desk staff about breakfast. At first I was told breakfast is not free and I have to pay, next day I was told that I can do free breakfast at executive lounge (I used Marriott rewards points for booking).Overall it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend.

Only down side is the water level in washroom commodes, it is very high, and not good to use, I complained, but i was told that it is not resolvable.I got the feeling that the staff at indoor pool doesn’t want you go use the facility, they always say, sir this is not the time for males, but they try to confuse you about timings.At Breakfast buffet, there was no mutton. The Pakistani food choices are very limited.

Was quite cold inside and they expected guests to eat outside, which isnt an experience you would expect from such a hotel. The paan is very good here.

Has a better and livelier atmosphere compared to Serena with better choices for cuisine. However, TV channels kept freezing and staff and service were a bit rude and not up to par. Disappointed with my last stay though I have been staying here for several decades now and did not expect the type of service they have no. Sad.

Serving tea-bag tea (office wali chai) at hi-tea beats the purpose of hi-tea at Marriot. Cardamom or cinnamon tea must be on the menu. Get one of those machines that make tea. Otherwise, everything else was par excellence.

We had a lovely stay, the hotel was clean and service was super good. Everytime, we needed anything it was arranged. The food was good and every night there was live classic music. Next time we will stay here again

Good services staff behaviour is excellent

I stayed at marriott, Islamabad in September 2016 during my wedding, they stored my marriott credit card info and on november 25, 2020 they charged me for two night stay. I did dispute this transaction with Chase and they assured me they will investigate and credit my account with same amount. I think marriott, Islamabad should also investigate this and bring the culprits to justice, if they claimed to be really a five star hotel. This is disgrace to ppl of my country and even for marriott that they have such ppl within their staff. I have been using marriott since 2014 and never had any issue before in USA

Location is superb. Security is excellent and staff is welcoming. Swimming pool is not big.

Clean room and the customer service was great. We stayed for one night on our route to Malam Jabba. The breakfast is not out of the world amazing but decent with plenty of options. I loved the staff, who time to time checked up on us incase we need anything. Quality of the customer service matters to me and I was not disappointed.Please keep up the great work!

It is a calm and wonderful place to stay. But I felt a little low standard as I had heard by the people.

Standards are up to the mark but please bring your own phone charger as theres no charging terminal in such a big hotel.

After Serena, the best hotel in Islamabad at the foothills of margalla. Their breakfast buffet is the best in town for sure. And a shoutout to the amazingly courteous staff who are always very helpful.

It should becategory 1 or 2...really disappointed and according to me it shouldnt be called marriott as the service is not ok and really outdated building and decor and all ....the toilets in lobby says it allAnd no good service to platinum...or titanium...or ambassador bonvoy members....only if you are a known tycoon or celebrity else just forget your marriott bonvoy status here it has no value and respect even if you have everything and lots of money....Only if you flash and as written above are a celebrity you will get good service.Ive been here 5 to 10 times stayed here before maybe 5 times different length stays....and recently was there for some food....gotta tell you people honestly ...really lack of service or i rather say no service and understanding.....Simply a 2 start or category 1 or max 2 hotel and should be downgraded to Courtyard by marriott maybe......even Courtyard by marriott is better for this property as i have stayed in many with top top service and understanding and cleaningnes....witch live up to the name of marriott.The managers never let you speak or meet the general manager as they make excuses....hope really marriott International will send a auditor there some times n check n see for them self.

Ok feel like giving no star due to the insult I felt when checking in.Background- back in August I purchased and fully paid for Black membership. I was provided with a letter for the duration of September and I used it for my stays in PC pindi and Lahore. I was advised that I would receive my card within the month. I called multiple times and I was told it would be posted but to date I didnt receive it. I asked if I can use my membership and i was told YES by the same company individual.So here I was today in Marriott Islamabad trying to check in while using my Black membership which I paid for full year in advance. I was told to provide my card, I advised that it hasnt been posted to me to date. I showed the letter which was provided for September and my payment for the membership but the staff at the checkin was saying this means nothing and they cant entertain me as member.To be honest I felt humiliated as there was no effort made to make me feel that this can be an error on their part and this can be looked into, rather I was told that I will give you discountSorry I paid for membership well in advance and I am a member so I am not asking for any favours ...Rather had he said as a gesture we will deal with you as a member and then investigate if there is any issue ... no not at all.This is suppose to be a 5 star hotel... and they cannot simply check how many nights I have used and what membership was offered to me based on my identification documents or even payment transactions...Honestly I am just furious...Checked in but really dont want to stay here... trying to sleep now and trying to forget the insult I felt and lack if courtesy and professionalism or even empathy...Argh... if you ever ever plan to take any of their membership I WOULD SAY PLEASE DONT you would be treated better without it.Lets see who can benefit from this post and if Hushuu group cares to respond and rectify the damage their brand took in my eyes.

Its a very good 3star resturant with verity of food dishes, salads, Sweets, ice cream and drinks and much more and also have food for forigners and have a bar. Must visit.

5 star hotel in islamabadEnjoy its delicious food

It is a good, location, with a nice front aspect to the mountain range. Part of a long-established Pakistani hotel group, the Marriott is a well-established high class venue which I have visited for the last 21 years, on and off.The style and values remain the same but it is good to see that they invest in keeping the facilities modern.The bathroom was very clean and modern, with new and good quality towels. The room generally was very clean, with quality fresh bedding.The only room complaint was that the 2 pillows were far too flat and un-supportive which led to poor sleep. This was a real issue.This time I had a poor view of the a/c plant, but its fine, not everybody can have a front view every time.Service throughout is very sharp and attentive, which is a function of good management. There is a good choice of restaurants and now even a bar in the basement !!!! Local currency purchase only.Breakfast was included and was very extensive and hygienic with chefs wearing mouth guards and plastic covered fruit trays etc. With is being a buffet through, and particularly at weekend, you have to get there early if you want to avoid extensive picking over with bare hands by kids etc.They do take a significant block on your credit card on arrival which is a bit irritating, especially as I said that we would not be eating in or using the facilities because we were being hosted outside for a short days visit. Sadly they did not accept my explanation, or trust me on this point and insisted on still blocking the card in case I was not being truthful, which is a bit much I think as given the security, it is hardly credible that we could do a runner without paying the bill in full, is it? I think a smaller block just against the minibar, and restaurant pay-as-you-go option would be more in line with present international hotel rules. It is for this reason only that I dont award it 5 stars.
