It was best visit because everybody was cooperative there and get my job done at time thatswhy im really satisy. But the degrer attestation system is too slow so if anybody want to attest their degrees so they might have 20 days in their mind for procedure completion it might take more long.

I would share my complete experience from start to end so do read it complete.It was totally an amazing and wonderful experience at the HEC(Higher Education Commission). Initially I opened the Maps application on cell phone and selected the HEC institute on maps and it routed my journey. When I reached my destination at HEC office there was a guard standing outside and I told him that I have scheduled an appointment for the attestation of my degree. The guard said that this office is not for attestation, the attestation office of HEC is on the other side of the road. So I crossed the traffic light and took a turn and finally found the HEC attestation office.I went inside and as soon as I entered the office there was ticket offering machine. I entered my CNIC and got a ticket no. There was a huge sitting area and it was amazing. After some time my ticket no. Was called at counter 4. I went at counter 4 and handed over the documents to a maam who was verifying the documents. After verification, she said to submit the fee. I payed the fee and submitted my documents on counter 2 which was the counter for the submission of the documents. They took my documents and gave me the receipt with a number and asked to wait until they call the serial no. After waiting for a while they called my no. And I got my degree attested. It took about 2 and half hours for the whole procedure. Additionally, there was a photocopier shop as well. The staff was very cooperative. Al hamdullilah it was very nice experience. Well hec is doing good at its location but it is not getting able to make the standard of education good in universities.The real thing is never go for PRESTON UNIVERSITY hec is verifying there degree but still WES is not accepting there degree so there is no point of wasting money in preston.If any concern about preston degree can ask at this platform

Horrible service. Lazy staff dont bother to guide you properly. Where is the helper desk like in the foreign office? People who check your document dont guide you properly. My application rejected three times. Each time they tell me different stories. Why cant they tell me all their excuses one time? The place is very crowded. At the foreign office, they have people who guide you before giving you a ticket. Getting degrees from universities is far more comfortable than attestation from HEC. The only positive thing is its urgent service. At least i dont have to wait a month to hear another excuse

Good service., just come early., organize your docs, wait for your turn. Dont forget to bring the photocopy of your ID card, degrees and transcripts to be attested. Else facility of print, whatsapp printing and photocopy is available inside the office at normal rates.

Complete your profile online and print the documents.Pay in any HBL bank of Islamabad to save time and visit the office on time. Take your token and there are 4 counters, wait for your number and after submissions you will need to wait one hour for getting your attested documents.The staff is very cooperative. It was a nice experience though I had some issues but nevertheless the process was efficient and staff was cooperative. There was proper sitting arrangement for the public. Security was also good. It so also near to metro station which is a very good thing for the general public. Hec gives back the documents on the same day after attestation. There was also photocopy and printing facility available which is very good sometimes.

ExcellentMy appointment time was 1030-1130. I was there at 0945, had my breakfast at nearest dhaba and got in at 1015 and I was done at 1230.The process for attestation:1.grab you token from kiosk (digital/computer machine) by entering your CNIC.2. Wait for your turn. Meanwhile you can arrange your documents and get them ready for hardcopy scrutiny. Keep checking the electronic board for your turn and counter number.3. On your turn present your documents for scrutiny.4. Pay your fee (if everything is OK) at counter number 1.5. Submit your document at counter number 4.6. Enjoy some snacks and wait for 30-45 minutes.You are done.

Verification process is simple if you have all the required documents. I came at 6:00AM and got token number 25. Do make an account on HEC website before coming here or you will lose time creating one here. If your Matric and Inter degrees are not attested from IBCC, you have to attest them first from IBCC. To save a day, you can attest degrees from IBCC and next day morning you can come to HEC with IBCC bank chalan and get token here in HEC. After form filling you will go to verification counter and they can accommodate you to bring the degrees from IBCC. Then you can leave and bring the degrees from IBCC and submit your docs after paying fee in bank within HEC building and receive your verified degree on the same day.

Higher Education Commission is performing well in education especially higher education. Its staff is cooperative. The documents attestation service is also better one and well managed as the system is computerised. One must come with all requirements fulfilled to avoid any inconvenience. Do applicants, manual application submission has been closed since the last changing policy of Higher Commission of Education. You have to submit your application for attestation online, after the confirmation you need to make an appointment. On the day of appointment, report to high Commission of Education with all original degrees. Take a Copan by rntering name and national ID number, right after getting a coupon you need to arrange your documents and wait for your number. submit your face in window 1 and your documents in window 4 and wait three to four hours to get it back. HEC improved their services from last few years , they are benefiting from technology, all process are quick and in time, also staff is cooperative and friendly . I hope they will continue serving student with same good behavior. But Parking is big issus in HEC.

The facility is outdated. Online service is full of bugs. Staff is horrible as they dont want to guide you properly. They act like Gods deciding your fate in a country suffering from unemployment. This awful commission needed massive improvement or replaced altogether.

That was perfect visit. I wanted to approve my degrees from HEC. I went there and they had the proper system to provide info and waiting area to sit. I had to go through 3 steps and then had to wait for like 2-3 hours and then got the approval. I am really glad that they had this great system.

So called superior who verified the Ph.d, MBA etc degrees, very bad experience, denting your pocket by getting high fee for attestation, behave like a god, rubbish online system where your appointment is scheduled and waited hours and hours, false online and on spot advertisement no hassle, no queue, online system etc etc , when initial checks are done online, why later they put objection? online submission of the application is tiring process as there system crashes and then you have to re-due the procedure again, old system of attestation was better where you just have to go earlier and all attestation is done in 2-3 hours,I booked online application that took 3-5 hours to complete, was impressed that they were sending emails and text message regularly for my appointment that was scheduled 10:30am, reached in the Islamabad office in time, there was no one to guide where to go and what to do, the people were helping each other, a man helped me and i got the token, and then looked around to get the seat, weather was 36 degree and the temperature inside hall was definitely more than outside due to rush of people, 2 fans were out of service, not know when they will fix it, 3 loose coolers of water with 1 glass, and everyone was sharing their disease with each other, why not they install the electric cooler rather than more interested to increase the attestation fee that actual service cost them noting, waiting and long waiting but no display on the electronic board, requested their staff, when i would be called but they are cold and seems helpless and do not like to speak, 12:30 no show still 2 hours left, what the point to introduce the online appointment system when you are treated badly, when i noticed the staff is going to make objection, decided not to proceed with the attestation, might be they also could object on my documents, and i was believed my number would be called by end of the day, the electronic board was not in order and staff was helpless, give up and come back home, better to not have attested degree at the cost of self-esteem, really disappointed, where the educated personal are insulted

It was a perfect visit. Each and everything is managed in organised way and staff is very helpful. You only require appointment online then take your documents with you .At faizabad bus stand get ticket of metro bus and leave your bus in front of hec office cross the road through flyover and you are in hec office print out your application form challan form and copy other documents from photocopy within the hec office.Bank challan fee submitted within the office the hbl bank branch within the office.get your ticket from ticket machine by entering your national id number and wait for your turn it takes 10-20 minutes.After 2-3 hours collect your documents attested.

I think this is the only Academic Organization of Pakistan whose services are best and quick. They have developed a very good and easy system for Degree Verification.

Now things have changed, since May 2017. Now you need not reach early and stand in long queues. What you need to do is to fill your form online(its mandatory).It will automatically guide you through each step.Once completed you will be asked to choose a day for an appointment with HEC,either at any of their regional offices or in Islamabad or via its authorized courier,Leapord.

Very poor service, they take a hell of a lot time to produce a single merit list. I applied for a foreign seat last year and they took 6 months to process it. When I used to call them inquiring on the matter they would often hang up on me and sometimes would not even attend my call. The concerned staff were very lazy and incompetent. I would not even give them a single star if it was possible.

Over 1000 employees and has four regional centers as well in Peshawar, Quetta, Karachi and Lahore.

I had an opertunity to stay in HEC hostels, the rooms are coozy but dont expect 5 star treatment, the park out side gives you a pleasant breeze, they also serve breakfast at very economical rates, the ironing facility is also available for cloths, The staff of the Hostels is aldo very friendly.There is a nearby Sector Market of I8 where you can find all the big food brands where you can go have a nice time.Primarily hostels are built for students and the atmosphere is best for studying. You will not find families living their but highly learned scholors.Its a nice place to bond with like minded individuals and share ideas and views on research and what not.I will not recommend the food of the hostel personally, but if you are on a budget it is a great fix.It is also recommended to book your room before hand as their is a possibility that they are always booked.

Initially it was known as University Grants Commission but at the time of Gen Pervez Musharaf, it was elevated and renamed as Higher Education Commission under Dr. Ata ur Rehman. Before Dr. Ata era, there were very little chances or opening for PhD education, but since then it fly high. People remained critical of HEC role, may be correctly, but still I believe it was the right step towards higher education. Although processes are required to be improved with check, balance and accountability. Remember nothing is perfect as it always need to be improved.

Poor management, the website they have designed has several bugs, uploading documents is nerve wrecking, the isnt much parking space so prepare yourself for that too. I hope they fix the bugs on their website.

I would rate the degree attestation service as two stars -- as one can get it done at the end of the day. The online system hasnt improved things. DONT BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL BE TREATED LIKE A PATIENT VISITING AN EXPENSIVE PVT DOC AT AN APPOINTED TIME. Get an hour earlier than your appointed time to get a lower-ordered token. Also, dont pay fees in advance as they can raise objections. Even if it is all clear, they ask the applicants to go to HBL branch and verify the challan, which is a long and cumbersome process. It takes at least two hours if you have done your planning right. Try to get the slot 10:30-11:30 max to get it done in the shortest possible time as otherwise degrees are returned after 2:30 due to lunch break and the waiting time can shoot to four hours.

Excellent service. Applicants have to create their own accounts on HEC web site for attestation of their educational documents from HEC. After creation of profile applicant will send scanned copies of required documents for initial scrutiny and after successful scrutiny they will schedule their visit accordingly. but they need to build online complaint service, emails provided on hec website do not reply.

Had to get an equivalence for MPhil, and i must say that they delay it for no reason and the extra documentation they require have nothing to do with it equivalence.

Beware guys, dont trust the appointment time as per new application procedure. First take appointment by online application, then get the token from the machine atleast 2 hours before your appointment time on the same day so that you may be served at the time alloted to you. Otherwise you will NOT be served at your appointment time.

Quite impressed with strickness of the staff.Attestation process is fairly easy. If you havent got an appointment the reach before 7am to get one on the same day.Keep in mind HEC serves only 150 walkin appointments for attestation per day.[Edit]I recently came to know about the online attestation system. Read about that on HECs website before visiting the Attestation office.

Well managed place to get degrees attested and recognised

I was initially very impressed with the system developed till I got to HEC for the actual attestation of the documents !!!. first with three counters only two were working till 8:50 am, secondly when I reached the window I was asked to get the same verified from the HBL counter, the gentleman there stated that he could not do so and I needed to go to the main branch to get the payment that I had made at an online branch of HBL verified!!!. I left the HEC, found the bank got it verified and then lo and behold the HEC staff said now get this verified from the HBL counter in the HEC !!!. My question is when there is a collection counter of HBL in the centre, PLEASE WRITE IN THE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT PAY ONLINE BRANCHES BUT ONLY AT THE HBL counter at HEC. My whole impression of the wonderful system developed to facilitate the public by HEC was badly shattered. Hope that someone will pay heed to the public as the Incharge was comfortably sitting in the super cooled office, while the public has to run around.

Idk what kind of old farts are making decisions for HEC here but they suck tbh! i am surprised they didnt ask me to bring my results from KG to secondary school for equivalence. how on earth does equivalence benefit someone getting his degree attested for work? An original degree and transcript should be enough to validate any degree, your stupid equivalence and attestation are merely money sucking schemes! No one here seems to know the answer, its like talking to robots fed by dumb old farts!

There is a need to review the policy and ruling about degree verification and attestation... Why dont the universities issue degrees already attested from HEC at the first place....!!Secondly there is really bad and mis managed system for entertaining the students...
