Always a lively and cheerful setting. A number of great restaurants in line offering their varied menu. Although on the pricier side, the place has an unmatched feel to it. You dont see the usual crowds here, this area caters somewhat to the elite and has a unique atmosphere. Always abuzz with foodies enjoying the outdoor seating, kohsar market has a loyal following. One down size is the parking, which is generally inadequate.

Not a large market for shopping but it is particularly popular with Islamabad elite, diplomats, young couples and of course with Land Cruiser, Prado and Fortuner groups (people with lat of money and lavish lifestyle), due to a number of open air restaurants and coffee shops. High gentry is found here in abundance paeticularly in evenings when place becomes congested. There is a small children playing park across the market.The market is right under Monal Restaurant at Pir Sohawa which is at much higher altitude and visible from Kohsar Market.

Despite the current COVID-19 times the market was surprisingly busy and normal. Not many punters were adhering to facial masks but glad to say that staff were.We ate outdoors which is far more vibrant and atmospheric.I would have preferred better obvious cleaning of furniture and more available hand sanitiser.

A nice place with nice food variety and lots of options for dining. A nice place for brunch and breakfast. 2 really nice grocery stores which have both local and imported items. There is also a store that sells bakeware, cutlery and crockery. A good meat shop for steak cuts, porter house, is also hear. Finding a spot to park your car can be difficult.

Its a good market. They sell furniture and foriegn second hand household items, including furniture, electronics etc. You can buy good quality second hand products which not not avaiable elsewhere.

A quaint little market in the 90s has now become a booming business for restaurants that have occupied the store front and have made life miserable for any shoppers who may want to get something from essa jees or the other store or at the vegetable shop.That said, the restaurant generally offer amongst the better cooked food in the city and the experience of dining outside on a good day is amongst the best ones in the city.

Very fine place for some formal as well leasure time spending with companions, beware from the stall selling low class antique type stone items, they ask too much price, but offer should start from20 % of their asking price.Nom Nom type restaurant I visited but that was just ok. Most peaceful and relaxing market in whole of Islamabad. The market consists of cafes, Restaurants, best meat shop and best super market. I recommend visiting esajees store and Quraishi meat shop for groceries. I highly recommend visiting this market.

Usually elite class come here, as this place is heavy on pockets. Clean environment. Market is jam packed at evening hours. Difficult to find parking space at evening.

One of the best cafes in the town are here at Kohsar Market. Most of the places are open till 12am. There is a good sized parking lot as well. The atmosphere here is good to enjoy your time with friends.

Kohsar market is the place to go if you need high end groceries in Islamabad. The two grocers, Essajees and GN store are both well stocked, but youd do well to check out the prices. Sometimes even basic things will vary wildly in price at the two stores.

One stop shopping area for expatriates. Vegetable shop has good selection of quality clean fresh fruits and vegetables. Qureshis has good fresh and frozen meat. Foreign imported food are available at a bit of a premium. Kitchen goods can be found here too.
