Maktaba Islamia Book Deopt, Islamabad was not actually book shop it was a private welfare library about 35 to 40 years ago. They gives books on very nominal rates to public of vicinity. Later (about 25years ago) they started books and stationery shop. Same like old practice they started taking very much nominal rates. Due to that they became very famous among Islamabad people due to very cheep & good stationery on very reasonable rates. Till now it is continue. After that many other books & staitonery shops opened in same market but still people calls this market Maktaba Market. It becomes brand name
