Structurally, the Supreme Court is befitting for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan but systematically, justice, law and order reforms are heavily required. After Independence Pakistan embraced the free market economy but despite this, there were just somethings money couldnt buy. Thus the supreme Court was established which today lets the mighty and powerful buy the rights of those less fortunate. All individuals are for sale here while those that want to retain their dignity and integrity are often summoned to have those surrendered. The supreme court is often described as the symbol of victory of the rich over the poor.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan is the highest appellate court of the country and court of last resort. It is the final arbiter of the law and the Constitution. Its orders/decisions are binding on all other courts in the country. All executive and judicial authorities are bound to act in aid of the Supreme Court. The Constitution contains elaborate provisions on the composition, jurisdiction, powers and functions of the Court. The qualifications for and mode of appointment of judges, the age of retirement, the grounds and procedure for removal and the terms and conditions of service of judges are elaborately prescribed. The Constitution provides for the independence of judiciary and its separation from the executive. The Constitution assigns the Supreme Court a unique responsibility of maintaining harmony and balance between the three pillars of the State, namely, the Legislature, the Executive and the Judiciary. As guardian of the Constitution, the Court is required to preserve, protect and defend this basic document. The Supreme Court exercises original, appellate and review jurisdiction. It possesses exclusive original jurisdiction for the settlement of intergovernmental disputes between Federal and Provincial Government(s) or Provincial Governments inter se. Under this jurisdiction, the Court pronounces declaratory judgments. The Supreme Court can also exercise original jurisdiction, with respect to the enforcement of fundamental rights, if the case involves an issue of public importance. The Court also exercises advisory jurisdiction, whereunder the President may obtain its opinion on a question of law. Under its appellate jurisdiction, the Court entertains appeals against orders and decisions of High Courts and other special courts/tribunals.The Supreme Court was created under the Constitution of 1956. It succeeded the Federal Court, set up in 1948, which was successor to the Federal Court of India, established in 1937. Since its creation in 1956, the Supreme Court has retained its name and jurisdiction through the successive legal instruments including the Constitution of 1973.The Constitution of 1956 provided that the Supreme Court shall sit in Karachi and at such other place as the Chief Justice of Pakistan, with the approval of the President may decide. The Court was housed initially at Karachi but later on shifted to Lahore and housed in the High Court building. The 1973 Constitution provided for the permanent seat of the Court at Islamabad. The non-availability of funds however prevented the construction of the building. The Court shifted in 1974 from Lahore to Rawalpindi and was housed in an improvised building called East Pakistan House. In 1989, funds were allocated for the new building at Islamabad and construction started in 1990. The work was completed and on 31st December 1993, the Court shifted to its new premises in Islamabad. The present building is a majestic addition on the Constitution Avenue in the Federal Capital. Its white marbled façade depicts the strength of the institution to uphold the principles of rule of law and constitutionalism in the country. The openbook front elevation reflects a unique synthesis of Islamic and Japanese architectural tradition emphasizing the importance of education, transparency and equality before law as avowed objectives of the judicial organ of the State of Pakistan. The Court also has branch registries at each of the four provincial headquarters. Cases are filed at principal seat and/or branch registries. Benches of the Court rotate between the principal seat and branch registries to dispose of cases. With wide/broad jurisdiction of the Court, it is a great relief to the litigant parties to have easy and convenient access to justice, closer to home town.

Pakistan is becoming less democratic. It is getting more difficult for an average person to run for office. Due to high campaign costs only rich people can serve in the government. So rich is becoming richer & richer is becoming richest; poor is becoming poorer & poorer is becoming poorest. If an average person supported in love for their country by patriotic average hardworking Pakistanis living abroad is being accused of running the Campaigns against corruption with the help of hard earned Money (foreign funds) of Pakistanis by our so called honourable Court & corrupt politicians then .... What a Justice! What about those corrupts supported directly by the State enemies with Money going directly into their Bank Accounts??? They are still enjoying the Liberty of running the System of enslaving the people for their Paymasters.

Dear Supreme Court Of PakistanWhat are you going to do - punish the Shariff family only for financial corruption, or the decision of SC will be directed towards correction of whole financial corruption system prevailing in Pakistan among the elite class - Which include the whole lot of Waderas, jagirdars, sardars, khans, nawabs, the generals, businessmen & industrialists, the judges, the anchors capturing the channels & other media, and all those who belong to elite class including politicians, ex-cricketers, singers, actors etc.The problem of this country is the elite class, involved in all sorts of financial & moral corruption. SC can at least address the financial corruption of all of them. They all are GOD FATHERS, they all have amassed huge ill gotten wealth at the cost of poor masses of this country, they are always pleased with vulgar show of wealth & power. It was very rightly remarked in Panama judgement that BEHIND EVERY BIG FORTUNE THERE IS A BIG (FINANCIAL & MORAL) CRIME.It is an open secret that:1) All jagirdars, waders & even some businessmen & the like took huge loan from bank & got them written off using the power of their seats in assemblies and the power of ill gotten monies they have amassed by hook or by crook. This has now a days become difficult due to changes in banking laws related to loan.2) Nearly all the big industrialists and businessmen like NS use the channel of foreign remittance to hide huge tax evasions in billions and trillions and then bringing it back to Pakistan, using wide open door of unquestionable foreign remittance. May be all the law makers in the assemblies & all the Finance Ministers have kept this door deliberately open to bring back tax evaded monies for use in business. It is this money which they use to buy properties, flats & businesses in foreign countries, that is why money trail is missing.3) Some silly politicians say that punishing Shariff family will bring about an end to financial corruption in Pakistan. Shariffs should be punished, but what about all others who are using exactly the same method to grow richer & richer day by day & all have foreign properties & bank accounts.4) Some word for professional accountants - unfortunately most of them in industry (like ID) have become a facilitator to all those, who evade tax amounting to billions & trillions of rupees, which if available to country, could changed the fortune of the masses. This they do for the sake of monthly salary, on which they & their family depend. Those in practice also work as facilitator to evaders, by acting as adviser.5) Lastly the bureaucrats, God or may be SC Know better who will correct them.MAY ALLAH (SWT) SAVE OUR BELOVED PAKISTAN FROM ALL ILL DOERS & ILL WISHERS
