Ive been twice, 2 years apart. The beef haleem is average. Not much spice or flavour. Maybe the chicken haleem is better? Their Rogni Naan is excellent though. I probably wont be back. Try after restaurant for Haleem in Islamabad. Best I had was in Lahore on at Gawalmandi. You can also search for Hareesa which is a similar dish with a bit more spice.

Haleem Ghar is most accredited and old restaurant which is catering the entertainment needs of lower middle class in a modest environment within the pocket size of masses living in nearby government residents area. Best and my favorite. It provides good quality and quantity of food. I will give 9/10.

Due to Covid-19 they served me my brunch on makeshift outdoor tables. I had a memorable experience of delicious food in lively atmosphere. I would always like to see more outdoor roadside food tables in other places too even post pandemic.

Gentry is middle or lower middle class and ofcourse food prices are affordable for that segment of market.About our Visit n Food:We were two persons n ordered One Chicken Tikka, One Beef Nehari and One Chicken Haleem n drinks. Nehari n Tikka was good, but Haleem was equally comparable to simple Yellow Lentil n just chicken poured into it. Very below average than actual haleem taste is. Despite its name as Haleem Ghar, Haleem i would rate as 1 star n same was the opinioj of other person who was with me. I felt it was a waste of money

Haleem ghar in blue area in islamabad is a quite popular place. So anyone whos a fan of Haleem can go there and fulfill their apatite.

Its amazing taste is so good. Especially Matka haleem and Shohla Biryani is amazing and yummy. One thing which disappoint me every time is their table services. They wont participate after serving any dish after several time calls they respond but didnt provide next to order. They must spend some time on counciling of their staff for good behaviouf.

I was regular customer of Haleem ghar in 2008- to 2010 but i made visit visit to them after much long time with friend to recall all old memories. their taste is good and have been added much dishes. but they are much poor in welcoming costumers, as you have to call staff again and again for service. usually its crowded and might be that reason of poor service

Due to corona there is no permission to sit inside restaurant so we have collected our foot from restaurant it was haleem very nice and taste but one thing I have noticed there was very chili in haleem that really just like fire so its my advice to everyone if u r visiting that restaurant pleas tell them abt the quality of chili

I went there with 6 of my colleagues for lunch. We ordered Chicken Karrahi, Chicken Boneless Handi, Chicken Boti, Salad, Raita Naan etc. The Karrahi was good, handi was average but chicken boti was close to bad. It seemed like it was cooked on high flame, so it was cooked from outside, but not properly cooked from inside. The raita and Naans were good as well. The food price was also not high. Overall our experience was OK.

For the first time had a real bad experience. The staff attitude was not cooperative at all. They gave the worst and smallest pieces (only wings) with chicken achari. On a lot of insisting they agreed to change and finally changed one piece and that pieces was part of next to thigh (back of chicken) that too in half. Smaller than a matchbox.

Me and my wife had Beef Haleem here yesterday which was served on outside tables. Since yesterday both of us are vomiting with diarrhoea and severe Food Poisioning. Please dont ever order Beef Haleem.

I visited Haleem Ghar today for the second and probably the last time in my life. First of all, in this hot weather there should be proper temperature at the restaurant especially at reception and in the sitting area. You have such a big hall and theres just one AC. Secondly i was on break from my office for an hour. I ordered the meal at 1:25 PM which was served at 2:10 PM. I asked the waiters several times and they were like Sir the order is ready, its coming in a bit. While eating when Naan got finished i ordered two more and again it was served after about 8 minutes and my food got cold. The straw in the drink was too small that it drowned in the bottle and my dad had to ask the waiter for another straw. I uploaded the photo of Salad. There wasnt a thing to be called Salad. The Salad was full of onions and a few portions of lettuce and cucumber. The meal was delicious but the services and temperature were too poor. Also there should be more staff especially at the peak times.

Hello fellowsIt was worst experience at Haleem ghar blue area today.I ordered kabli pulao ane they served it well with stones. Whaaat stones.Yes stones.I was in middle of my lunch and crunching sounds appears. And i found a stone in my mouth. I called floor manager and give the stone to him.He did not said a single word of apology and at the end gave me a bill with service charges .I ask him give me a reason to pay service charges against stone serving in the meal. He was quite and after a silence i paid only for so called food. And left the place.I will never go there, In sha Allah.

There is no question about Haleem ghar, the food, the taste always so good. The only issue is rush specially on weekends you got to be lucky to get your order in time but its worth it.

Dont let the prices fool you into thinking that it is a mediocre food point.With such budget friendly menu the services are complementaryand is a proper restaurant with sitting arrangements and great tasting haleem ofcourse! The biryani is great too.

Really tasty restaurant in twon with orginal haleem taste. They do have good variety of haleem, biryani and nihari and other desi food as well.Their sitting area is old fashioned but still nice and in terms of price they are quite economical.We have ordered Haleem Chicken & beef, Nishari beef and Chicken biryani all were good in taste.Located in mid of city blue area (commercial hub), its difficult to get parking during business hours otherwise in evening and weekends no issue.

Finally tried shola biryani from Haleem Ghar Official blue area branch because alot of people suggested to check out their shola biryani spicy and perfect for someone like me who loves spices Rs-270/- is a good price for this much quantity . My only concern was k chicken piece were less else i loved the quantity of rice.

A Good Taste Meal DALEEM.

Do not, I repeat, do NOT eat here. I have eaten from here ONCE. And that was a lesson enough for me never to repeat the mistake.I know you guys might be thinking it couldve been a coincidence. Well, I happen to have a very strong stomach when it comes to taking risks with food. This place, however, did put my stomach on high alert. And it wasnt just me. I had a few colleagues from my work place who are from there and I know, at least 9/10 of them had severe health issues after their warm dinner.I also had a similar feedback from another friend who is now at a different office and him and his buddies also ended up calling out sick after their enjoyable meal.Just keep the warning in mind when you decide to go to Haleem Ghar. The food, when served, is hot. So it masks a lot of issues that may rise once its in the stomach. Also, not everyone pays attention to their food like I do. People only base their ratings on what happened AFTER they ate at a certain place. I, however, felt the food wasnt right, right from the start - at least 2-3 morsels down the throat. And I raised my concern but my friends thought it was just because I was eating there for the first time. Well, they definitely agreed more after one of them ended up in the hospital later on.If youre paying for your food, make sure its healthy AND clean, apart from just being apparently tasty.
