A beautiful and scenic vista , breathtakingly amazing esp. for stream lovers .The greenery and refreshing air adds to an incredibly serene ambience , while you relax with your feet immersed in surprisingly clean water.The Menu , however, was very disappointing and the food even more.I would suggest a picnic there if the real change from the ordinary is desired.

The only quality restaurant in the area at the bank of the water stream. Beautifully maintained slope of the hill. Best view of the stream from the sitting area of the restaurant. Food quality and service are excellent. Parking is available. Cool breeze kisses you in the magical valley of Margallas while taking a sip of tea in a shadowy ravine.

Shadra valley is good enough to see. But no specific parking there. Local persons park your cars and ask for money. Good place for family

Best ever pakoras on the opposite side dhaba by the name of Abdul ghaffar...do try them in 150 rupees only..

Very good place to visit, You can enjoy cold river fowing beneath you. & If you are Hydrophobic :P, Seating for you in a Beautiful Garden is also arranged.They have swings & slides for children too.Try visiting after Noon in summer, or when its cloudy. During winter you can go there anytime.I Ordered Biryaani & Chicken karadhai, it wasnt very tasty but edible. Affordable food around 2k for 4/5 people.You will enjoy this place.

A beautiful restaurant at natural and beautiful area in between Margalla Hills. near KPK border area. i loved the place and the best thing about Shahdara Valley Restaurant they have green beautiful yard beside that river so that you feel relaxed and comfortable for families. last but not least there manu, you can have all of the desi and junk food there. with fantastic tea.

Lovely placeThis is hostoric place. Tourist from all over pakistan visit this place.It is just the beautiful scenes that attracts the attentions of the tourists. Photographers also have an opportunity to take beautiful and amazing pictures. This is also a picnic point for the peolple of rawalpindi and islamabad. They also visit the lake view park in islamabad on murree road and shrine of Bari imam near Quaid i Azam university Islamabad.

Shahdara Valley Restaurant is located at a beautiful point in Shahdara Valley. It lies in the lap of two hills. Sound of stream water flowing between the two hills takes you to another world. It also has a play area for kids. The restaurant has enough parking space, staff is well trained and cooperative. However, it needs more items to add in its menu. One must visit this place if one wants to explore Islamabad.

Beautiful spot for family visit especially with childrens, blue water and green hills of margilla are inviting its visitors.

A very nice place for a hot summer day. The water is shallow but comfortable enough. The access road is a little bumpy in patches. Dont stop at first stop as it is usually crowded. Drive a little further till the bridge for a better view and secluded place.

Fascinating place to visit

This restaurant is almost 5 minutes drive to Shadara and 20 to 25 minutes drive to Lake view park. They offer both indoor and outdoor sitting. Outdoor sitting is very lovely as it consist of clean grass and comfortable chairs plus beautiful flowers and songs playing in background. Taste if food is not so amazing but average. Rates are not so high Chicken Karahi is 999Rs and softdrinks are available as tins and 1.5L bottles. They give tawa chapati which is very soft to eat.

A very good and peaceful place for outing. The approach road is little bumpy but the sceneries around and water flow covers this issue of road. The sitting arrangements in water are quite good n most important thing is that there is no rush n one can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. In rainy day one should care with water flow as it may rise and can harm.
