Visited on 2nd Jan 2021.It was a very nice experience here; at least for me. Parking is alright, the security helps. The food is a bit pricey, but very tasty. We had a couple of stuff including Korean chicken and sushi, and they were yummy! The service and staff were quite well behaved and kind. Would love to visit again.

Lovely Asian food calls for multiple visits. The sushi is awesome and so is the laksa. Relaxed place with good service. Highly recommend.

Haiku is one of the best dining experience I have had over the last two years I have lived in Hyderabad. Its truly has an awesome ambiance with great friendly staff and food is delicious. Loved the place

This place can be a little hard to find because there isn’t a board that you can look at but just trust Google Maps (yea, for this place it works like charm)Ambiance is not too hifi or not too cheap. Decent enough to get together for a friends bday lunch or date day conversation starter stopper base.Coming to food. It’s yum seriously! Nothing to complain apart from horrible names in the menu that you have to use Google Translate for (I didn’t even figure out the language, its a combination of English though)4️’s because, seating could be a little cushiony and prices are higher for what is served in terms of quantity.Don’t skip it if you are looking for a good place for lunch or dinner.

Nice Ambient daylight and airy high ceiling. Great Asian fare, nice friendly service. Would recommend and patronize again. Young crowd, rustic Good Earth furniture. Reasonable prices, enough parking. Central location.

I really had high expectations for this place but it turned out to be ok. The ambiance was good with high ceilings and has dim lights complementing it. Coming to the food it was good, the sushi here has great flavours and there are different varieties to choose from, but the fried rice here is not even worth a penny when compared with quantity provided with price. The service was really bad, had to wait nearly 30 mins to receive the order.

Restaurant has great ambiance. I wouldnt say this is authentic cuisine, the food served here is rather fusion. Ramen is very expensive but taste is not very ramen like. Thats only reason I went with 4/5. The other items I tasted were good.

The ambience of the place was nice. The waiters were courteous but it was little expensive on the pocket. Overall a positive experience and had a lovely time

The food was very exquisite and was an explosion of taste in the mouth. I tried a good amount of dishes and they really had that authentic Japanese texture to it. I would not hold back in suggesting restaurant to anyone. Definitely worth the try. The ambience was clean and calm. And really aesthetic. The service was good, no complaints with it.

It was very good before covid, but I went recently and the quality has gone down for sure.

The food is good but the staff.. mehhh.. their attitude sucks.. They dont know how to talk to guests.. So rude.. Whether youre enquiring about the menu or food items or even taking your orders.. The way they respond will make you cringe.. I dont really feel comfortable ordering or eating there unless somebody orders and bring the food for me. They lack professionalism or just some politeness needs to be taught.

Loved the food as always but the portions served were just too small. The Gachibowli one served much larger portions, so it was surprising.

This place is right at the main road and is easily visible from both sides of the road.They have valet parking which is limited. Restaurant is at the second floor where you need to climb all the way up. Ambiance is good and upscale, Staff is courteous and present a warm welcome upon arrival.Food is awesome and you are bound to like it if you are into Japanese preparation. Both vegetarians and non vegetarians have a wide variety to choose from.If you are fond of bland taste, you can tell them and they will streamline the taste as per your tastebud.Overall, it is worth the price you pay and i would visit this place often

My #1 restaurant for the best asian cuisine ever! Hospitable staff, delectable dishes & most comforting ambience. Were so grateful to Ms. Suma for offering the best always, and I say this for my whole family for were not only regulars but huge fans of everything HAIKU has to offer!

The menu is great with a wide variety of yummy items. Veggie sushi was similar to what you would get in California, I loved it. Loved wasabi and the pickled ginger on the side.The main course was over flavoured and had high amounts of salt, maybe MSG( cant confirm this). Japchae was overpowered by sweet and sour sauce, was heavy instead of tasting fresh. Mapo tofu was heavy and salty, it tasted like an Indian dish. Over all the main course tasted like Indo Chinese.Post meal feel: the meal made me feel bloated and made my face puffy which is often the case when I eat Indo Chinese.

This place has one of the best sushi served in hyderabad, so yummy and good. The waiters recommendations are so point if you mention what is your preference. Really a good place for serving japanese food and the place has good ambience and the vibe.

Location is cozy and the restaurant is located on the too floor with an open view of the outside.The menu on online delivery seems to be incomplete which is a shame considering the wide variety they offer. The place is a bit pricey though, fine dining for an occasion. The staff is very responsive and listen to instructions well.

Service could be faster and with more enthusiasm. Food is great. The sushi was fresh. Wasabi could do with more kick. Ingredients fresh. Missed the dessert. Will make another trip for that. I went and had two items1)Siu mai (dumplings)-400/-They were good,but I dont think,I will have them again over here,as I felt like I had much better dumplings with way too less price.You can try though.2) Japchae(glass noodles)-400/-It is one of the most popular item of korean cusine and it was my first time having it.I liked it and enjoyed thouroughly.I was looking for having something korean and I guess I went there for japchae.It was worth itThe staff is good,there was a beautiful lady serving me and she was very courteous and professional.Happy to see staff with genuine smile.The waiting time is a bit too much.The overall cost is ok.The environment is good..Will I visit again?No,I guess becoz I want to taste all restaurants of my Hyderabad.Will I recommend it?Only to those who have that taste buds to try different.Have a good day.God bless you all

It was totally a different experience as I tried this cuisine for the first time. Overall it was a great experience, good ambience and good hospitality too.

Highly recommended by a local friend, this was close by to the FabIndia store we usually go to on visits to Hyderabad. Decor is contemporary , factory style mixed with south east asian touch. Wide spaces between tables.Service was good, tad bit delay in order taking was more than compensated by the excellent service through out the meal. Portions may be just about one persons lunch and the entrees do not come with rice.A good selection of bubble tea. Food was tasty.. We enjoyed the meal and felt good that we chose Haiku.Note: There is no bar/liquor menu here.

The place has authentic japanese food but doesnt serve bacon or beef. The sushi is the best I have had so far but the ramen didnt taste good. The feel is good and the service is great.

Went for lunch with my friend, wanted to enjoy the authentic Japanese food. They have mix of japanese, thai, vietnamese items but the taste and flavors are authentic.I had only veg items but they have good options for both veg and non veg. Staffs are very good and service was fast.I enjoyed chamomile tea and lavender white tea. I was not getting over the taste of sushi, I ordered three times kakiage maki ( must try). I had Yudofu Yasai with Kawasaki which was good, vietnamese money bag is also a must try. Miso soup and yaki udon was ok. Over all the experience was great. Will visit again and would recommend also if one want to try Japanese flavors.

The ambience of the place is simple yet classy. They have different types of really nice tea like rose, camomile etc. I loved the veg sushi in the place. Also ordered some rice (dont remember now) with vegetables and sprouts. The sprouts were actually good. Resembling its name, the place might give off japanese type of vibe which is good. All in all nice cozy place

Loved the food. The menu was a treat to the eyes. The experience was unique and lovely. A person by the name Zauba took our order. He was brilliant at explaining the items on the menu and guided us very well. When he was inside the kitchen, another person who tried to take the order had no clue about the food. Hence, Zauba was a saviour. The Khoi Soi was brilliant. Really enjoyed the flavour. The Crispy lamb and the Hot chicken in Basil were good. The quantity of the dish served, for the price being charged could have been better. The Ramen was not as good as I expected. We had chicken in black pepper sauce. When we brought it to the notice of Zauba that the salt was on the higher side, he apologized for the same and offered us a Japanese green tea complimentary. The Vietnamese friend rise and the noodles that we had were brilliant. Overall, it was a great place for a good conversation over a good choice of food. The major drawback is that the place doesnt have a lift. Incase you plan to take the elders in your family to this place, please plan accordingly.Food- 4/5Service- 4/5Ambience- 4/5Price- 3/5

Pleasing ambience, very cordial staff, relaxed atmosphere for a afternoon to enjoy your sushi if you are a sushi lover. Tried their sushi sashimi platter, jari jari, salmon tuna roll, rose oolong tea and finished of with the fresh fruit bubble tea as dessert.Fresh clean meat, served to perfection and tastes really good.Rating 4 for now as I am yet to taste their other dishes and I had planned this afternoon just for sushi.Definitely would recommend sushi lovers to give it a try.Would suggest to add more varieties of maki and sushi rolls

Love their decor and ambience.Although little away from the authentic asian flavour, their appetizers were easy to be liked by the public.Their chicken kara age was not at all like the original japanese fried chicken dish, and was more like chicken pakoda. I do not recommend.Sushi platter was not platter-ly as it only used two or three types of what tasted like defrosted frozen salmon and tuna. (Although i understand its difficult to get fresh sushi material) i hope customers to haiku do not believe that this is real sushi.Overall a nice place for an easy lunch, but far from authentic asian taste

Excellent food and service. Sushi and Udon noodle soup are a must-have here. The ambience is lovely. Do note that the restaurant is on the first floor and there is no elevator/wheelchair friendly entrance. The parking space is limited.

Superb Sushi & Sashimi

The venue is a nice space but I found it very dark. I was by myself and stuck in a corner table without much attention from the waiters. I opted for a mixed sushi and nigiri platter which was well done. No complaints on the food however . Nustbtry the mango and coconut mousee

Very very average food, and if you are a sushi lover or want to explore Japanese food I would avoid going to this place.1) the sticky rice used in the rolls is no where near to the real thing.2) there is no freshness that u get / feel after eating Japanese food.3) the Singaporean Penang was ok, and can be treated as a saving grace of this restaurant.4) honestly not a place to go if u want to try Japanese food5) they are not customer friendly when it comes to placing order.6) the only people who might enjoy this place is if they have no idea what sushi is and eating here will probably ruin sushi experience for the beginnersWas hoping to give a better review

I always go to Haiku Gachibowli. For the first time I’ve been to Banjara Hills branch today for lunch. It was horrible. Not upto the mark. Will never visit again!

Thai red curry was awesome. U must try water chestnuts. N sushi. Deserts r superb. Must visit. Excellent ambiance. No loud music. Staff is very polite. Excellent experience.

My kind of place: Minimalist, Zen calm ambience with high ceilings & a feel of space. Food: After finding the wait staff woefully inadequate about menu choices, enlisted the help of Chef Forget his name, who used to work at Syn, Taj Deccan. (Reassuring, as Syn was, is still, my fave pan Asian).. Chose Miso Shiru Chicken soup... Found it too Japanese (read: light, healthy & bland! usually Japanese miso, which is a light soy sauce does add to the seasoning, but this one didnt)! Of course the Ebi Tempura, prawns bread-crumb crisply fried with a tangy crunchy tempura sauce was not boring! Haiku Spl Sesame Chicken fried rice with Indonesian vegetarian curry (fragrant coconut milk base) was a winning combo!Finished off with a pot of perfectly brewed pot of delicate Rose Oolong.. Bliss!-Happy customer who loves good food

Very good place!! But not korean. I went to this place looking for korean dishes. Well the Japanese dishes were good!

Service is fast. However I did not feel value for money. Portion size was very small. 8 miniature sushi at 500 plus taxes, 6 pc of dim sum with okay taste is 400 plus taxes, Special fried rice, which is nothing special and it tasted less good than that I cook at home, again a small portion of 400-plus taxes, and korean chicken which was around 400 was the only good thing, but portion was small.If I were to make eat this at Hashi, I would get the same at 1200 maybe and absolute value for money, and at least some amuse Boucher or variety of asian sauces. Maybe a five star dining would have cost the same with much better experience.Stomach was full , not the soul.I may not visit again.

As we were not interested in ice tea, we changed to gourmet passport offer. Restaurant has small dining area. Staff service was ok. We ordered the following items:Gado gado: a salad with peanut sauce. Taste is good, but it will be with sweetness.Hot basil pepper silken tofu: a starter with crispness outside and very soft inside. Taste is good.Ame shitake maki: sushi with mushroom. This was also sweeter.Yasai tempura moriawase: Deep fried mixed English vegetables. This will be served with dumpling Taste is good.Indonesian chilli ban Mee veg: noodles with curry. Tasted ok.Fried rice: tasted just ok. It was very dry.Crumb fried ice cream: tasted goodMy Verdict: price doesnt match with the taste.

I lived in Hyderabad for about a year and believe me the Sushi I have had at Haiku, I haven’t had such good Sushi even here in the United States.Definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi and probably wants to try the best in town.The place also has got a great vibe to it

Tasteless food.. without salt and spice.. purely kind of Japanese-style raw food.. people who like to experiment might like the food.. its not an kind of Indian food. Its purely an Japanese restaurant. Even didnt like the ambience.. the address was difficult to get, we dont find any board of it visible outside the road.. they have just a small board at the entrance. Dont know how come this restaurant is getting good rating.. it doesnt even have a lift to go to 2nd floor..

Very nice little authentic Japanese restaurant. Cant go wrong with the food. Youll get authentic Japanese experience and not feel like just sitting in a random restaurant. Panna cotta dessert was just mind blowing. I dont remember which sushi we ordered but it was damn good!

Great oriental food. Theres quite a bit of Sushi variety which is quite fresh and tasty. Ambience is quite good and striking. Theres lot of fresh air from the partial open windows. The pricing is good its not too expensive or cheap.Must try restaurant if you like oriental food.

Revisited twice after first bad exp, service has definetly improved. Their volcano roll and fruit bubble tea are real stars ...Old review -Extremely slow service, if you are alone , they will seat you in a corner where no one will even glance at you from far. Dimsums served without chopsticks, just one dipping sauce , water not served - except the ambiance nothing was right on my visit, not to mention the mosquitoes eating u alive

Food is very tasty there but the menu confuses us. I ordered some options mentioned as shrimp roll and the item was made of Kani (product made of shrimp, but far away from what we expect when we read shrimp). Service is very cordial and food comes fast. Decoration is good, and the presentation of food is simple and very nice.

Everything is good. According to my opinion I couldnt eat the Salmon Sushi. Rest everything was tasty. One thing is that the food portion is less.

I was a regular at this restaurant. There are very few places in Hyderabad to get Sushi and so we had less choice. My last experience was horrifying and now I am pretty sure Ill never go back there again. There were huge rats all over the dining area it was a nightmare. I am surprised how the restaurant is still running and not being shut down because of a major health code violation. After complaining the waiters acted as if they hadnt seen anything. Half the restaurant were on their chairs because of rats running everywhere. The food quality was horrible it was stale as we had already ordered and in the process of eating when we saw the rats following some screams. The restaurant ought to be shut down immediately until this problem is taken care of. I ended up suffering because of food poisoning. Please be aware and avoid haiku at all costs.

It was a nice and a classy place, we can hangover with friends. The food was tasty obviously, we can also have client meetings like that. It was a beautiful place.

Authentic Japanese cuisine, the best that Ive come across in Hyderabad. Staff is very nice and courteous. Will guide you in dish selection. Price wise but on the upper side, but no complaints ever for food.

Authentic asian food available here. It is worth going to and the food is amazing for people who want to try a different cuisine. The ramen here is just delicious...so tasty and making people want more. Also we can have chopsticks if anybody wants.
