This shop is clean and donations are high quality. Completely staffed by volunteers and all profits go to community social services. A treasure!

Why is online stating that it’s open! But once you go up to the place theirs a sign on the door saying it’s temporary closed? When is Ann Arbor thrift going to open back up?

I love this place when its open. Staff not answering phone. Sign on door says its still closed for covid19 compliance, also check website for updates. Website has no updates, and store phone message talks about closing in March for 30 days also dontleave messages. Not helpful.

I get fabulous clothes at great prices for work. Nice & friendly volunteers. Im so happy it is open on Saturday now. Nice boutique-y feel to the place. Well curated clothes, shoes, household & books.

Small shop but QUALITY goods. Everything is like new or barely used condition. Nicest and cleanest thrift/2nd hand store iv ever been in and iv been in many. I highly recommend

They had a lot of nice clothes. I did find 1 shirt with stains on it. Make sure u look the clothes over real good before u buy them. They had ALOT of books.

I did not look at the selection of clothing that they had, but they seemed to have a good selective of books. But while I was looking one of the volunteers came up to me and asked(kinda rudely) if I was buying anything because they closed at 4. I apologized for staying past close and then looked at my watch expecting it to be 4:15-4:30 and I see that it had literally just turned 4. Although I do understand that its frustrating when people stay past close, theres really no need to rudely go around the store asking everyone if theyre buying things RIGHT when you close. I had never been there before and I was very impressed with how clean the store looked, but I will not be back due to the lack of good customer service.

I was over 500 miles from home due to a family member being flown to the University Hospital. I was there so long with my Mother that I needed winter clothing. I did find a couple items that were fairly priced. The Thrift store is very small and limited with the merchandise. Prices were slightly overpriced. There were more male clothes than female clothes. Everything was clean. the staff were friendly.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE and offensive employee. I swung by a bit before 4 this afternoon. As I passed the clerks behind the counter, one informed me that theyd be closing in five minutes. I thanked her. Her co-worker, a woman with short black hair in a red suit loudly followed with Actually, its four minutes, no three and a half. She got the attention of everyone else in the store- clerks and about five customers.I responded, far more quietly than she, that I had understood her co-worker and wouldnt stay, I asked why she needed to do that. She responded that far too many stayed well after closing and continued to defend her offensive behavior. I headed for the door (it was before 4), several other customers were still in the store a couple told me theyd also experienced the same treatment.I had never been here before. I had no idea they were about to close. One of the others told me as I was leaving that theyd reopen tomorrow at 10. I told her it wasnt an issue as I had no intention of returning.I gave one star for her long-suffering co-workers who had to deal with that harridan daily. Tok bad, it seems nice and there were a couple pieces that caught my eye.

Wish this thrift store offered furniture and more collectibles. However, the prices here are ridiculously low and it all goes to a good cause.
