It was really great place to must visit in old ahmedabad city. I went to photowalk here by instagram here and they made here really nice wall paintings here any LXS ngo did that by the way and good architectural view too. They did vertical gardening here too which is really good idea to make city look better and also for hood environmental views of city. You can visit this place and more around to see heritage buildings of ahmedabad.

Must visit place in ahmedabad #heritagecity Dhal ni pol is the must visit place if you are visiting heritage purpose. Wall painting are very good. I dont know properly but there is some fees for visiting french haveli. And you can also stay in french haveli.

We had a wonderful 3 nights stay at this quaint Haveli. The manager Mr Mohan, is very helpful and courteous. The ambience of the Haveli is a wonderful experience within the busy old city of Ahmedabad. Proximity to major monuments is a great plus for this haveli

Elevation was good . but inside of this haveli is not as much as attractive however it is my personal opinion. you can watch it by paying 100rs fees. Foreigners choose it for stay. stay cost around 4000 to 5000.

Simply combining modern era interiors with essence of retro elements. A great place to stay, a great place for photography and on the top, heart warming locality.

I had a truly amazing stay. This old haveli made me feel like I was living in a place from the beginning of last century. In every corner there are beautiful old-style chairs, tables and furniture. The location is great, the room was very cosy and the staff was attentive and warm. The man who works in the house welcomed us with tea and pastries, and the day we left he went the extra mile and prepared a good breakfast really early in the morning. All in all, I had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the staff for making this experience awesome!

A very beautiful, well kept and antique property. Couple of centuries old but renovated to the charm of current world. Amazing hospitality and brilliant approachability.

Its amazing place for tourists , Ahmedabad best heritage place ever

Fantastic and unique place. It is an old haveli-style house dating back 180 years ago. Each of its 3 floors is beautifully decorated and filled with antique pieces everywhere. It reminded me of my grandma’s old house back in Spain. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was big and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The staff were friendly and charming. If I come back to Ahmedabad, I will definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay. Staff are very helpful even though their English is a bit limited. Breakfast was filling and caffetiere coffee is available.Its in a traditional Pol, and so it is not that quiet (other families and children shouting, prayer calls from the nearby mosque and people ringing bell at the temple opposite). Its also difficult to get transport to/from restaurants, as cars cant travel into the Pol. The roads in the Pol are very poor quality. You have to walk for 5 mins to the main road. This isnt the Havelis fault, though, but just saying for other travellers -- better to bring a rucksack.Only problem with the Haveli itself is that the hot water tank is incredibly small. There is not enough hot water for one shower, if you are washing your hair and its shoulder-length. For two people, you have to wait for 20mins for more hot water.

Its an ancient artitectured haveli located at old city area of ahmedabad. Inside one of famous pol - Dhal ni Pol. A must visit place. One of great heritage place within Ahmedabad to look into the heritage we have. Streets are lively. And New generation has made efforts like wall painting, Some designs, a concept like vertical garden.

Its a wonderful small mansion near the Astodia darwaja inside old city. Once inside, it feels like a warmest home. I immediately felt at home. The caretakers are nice. Food, though costly, is tasty and simple. The building has been restored, hence gives a feel of old good times.

Quaint haveli in old Ahmedabad. Hard to access and in a poor and dirty neighborhood. But it is an experience to dodge cows, two wheelers and slush in narrow lanes that can barely take two abreast.That said, the French Haveli is an oasis of warmth and comfort in the city and one we would return to again. Rooms are well appointed, the coffee is sensational and the team of Mohan and Bansi are the most motivated, responsive and caring staff a place can have. They made our stay special.

Its a nice place to stay over if you want to be deep into the heart of the city. Vey well connected. Absolutely close to the Ahmedabad Jn. Railway station and also very close to many ither heritage sites of Ahmedabad.

I stayed at the Mariott then moved the nexy night to the French Haveli. The FH required a transfer from our taxi to a rickshaw to get up the alley. The alley was relatively clean, but still had cow and dog droppings all over. The people we saw all could tell we were looking for the hotel and gave us directions. The house was very pretty on the inside, with clean rooms and showers. The next day my son played cricket with some neighborhood boys. One of the rooms had a balcony. The indoor stairs are very steep, and not safe for anyone with bad arthritis. If you want to try something different from the Marriott or Hyatt, this is a very nice alternative.

It is a gorgeous monument located in western part of India,in the gujarat states worlds first heritage city Ahmedabad,She has beauty of early era of Indian culture specifically With Gujarati street sculpture carved on wood and stones,Its show rich artistic Thought process of Gujarati Artists And also Proudfull Building for Gujaratis as theirs heritage building comprises of thousand of happy moments...!!

The family lives in the haveli is so nice, they are very much welcoming and give the tour of the whole structure by request.

Great tea and breakfasts...on demand ...especially Poha...awesome haveli stay experience ....not easy to get here...but worth the effort..u have drag ur luggage a bit from uber cabs drop-offs...but a luggage service is available if u inform them in advance. It took me back to my experience in 80s with my grandma s haveli and cold winter but with modern comforts.

Very nice place to stay. it is unlike any other hotel. in fact it is not a hotel at all. its almost like coming home. An old wada turned into hotel. if you are ready for something different then this is the best place in Ahmedabad.

Beautiful heritage bungalow. Agashiye is their best room, even though its not their most expensive. The breakfast was simple but hearty, very homemade. Being inside a pol its not vehicle friendly.
