Bought walking boots for my son for his Scouts camping trip. We’d been into another couple of outdoor stores, but in Tiso they measured his feet, listened to our requirements, offered advice and had the size in stock we were looking for. (Rather than just taking out what they had and hoping for the best).Their customer service was absolutely brilliant. The guy we spoke to knew all about each product we tried and offered advice in a gentle, friendly manner. At the till he checked - without us asking, if there was a discount that would apply.Tiso will be our first port of call next time we need outdoor gear.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable and bent over backwards to accommodate me and my irritating situation.Was knowledgeable about after care products and happy to explain them all to me, but never pushed for a sale or made me feel uncomfortable or obligated to buy anything.I cant remember his name sadly, but he was a shining example of what customer service can be. I really hope Tiso are paying them well because theyre doing a great job and deserve great pay.

Good range of makes and a large store great for a browse. I have bought all my tents from here and they have always ordered in any speciality version when requested.

A lot of their stuff is online and not in the store.I usually have to go to a competitor to try stuff on and then will return to Tiso for the purchase.The outdoor experience card is apparently changing soon but its a good idea for loyalty and Id encourage Tiso to continue with some form of rewarding loyal customers. This and the friendly, knowledgeable staff make this a good place to shop. They talk about products from experience not just the catalogue and if they dont know something they wont try to hoodwink, theyll just be honest which I appreciate.Have bought everything from boots to bags to tents to sleeping bags here. Ive even hired kayaks to paddle down the Dee - and they threw in an inflatable roof rack too.Highly recommended. Truly an outdoor experience.

Staff is always super helpful. Shop is conveniently located, well stocked and arrangement of items is easy to navigate around, unlike other outdoor ones.

None of the staff were wearing face masks. This was after it was made compulsory to wear them in shops!!!

Staff are very knowledgeable, you give them details of what you need for the activity youre away to do(especially clothing) and they take you straight to all the options for the budget you have. Helpful and interested in what youve done and are away to do and throw in some advice too.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff will show you the solution to your needs. Some great deals with their loyalty card (free) and web updates on prices and stock.

Been going to Tiso for years, always a great service, great stock selection. It has change over the years, many new faces but still the same old great atmosphere. Always chat for a while with the staff about hiking, mountain and travel adventures. It is one of my main stores for my mountaineering and adventure gear.

Nearly bought a new pair of shoes and asked for a decent price match. sales assistant tried so hard to be helpful and deserved the sale but manager wouldnt budge on price. Took business elsewhere. Place round the corner for the sale at the right price.

I bought a pair of Scarpa boots from Tiso Glasgow but they just did not quite fit perfectly. I took them back to Tiso Aberdeen and they bent over backwards to exchange the boots for a pair that did fit perfectly. They even recommended a pair that were drastically cheaper than the pair I originally purchased - they’re not just there to rip you off and appear to genuinely care about customer satisfaction.

Product purchased from Tiso was faulty. Returned it and the whole process of replacement was hassle free. Free car parking for customers for up to 1 hour. Helpful & friendly staff. Also dog friendly.

Great friendly & helpful staff. Bought some very comfortable North Face Hedgehog walking shoes for £120. Seems like a lot to me but you get what you pay for. The assistant made the whole experience less painful, I felt that she knew what she was talking about & made sure all that money wasnt going to waste.

Its a bit cheeky to limit the parking to 20 minutes when you mainly sell clothing. Theres not enough time to try on everything.Given that one item I wanted was £200 I would have expected to be able to park for longer. I gave up and went to Tiso at Inveralmond, where parking is free for at least 2hrs

This shop really is the spirit of adventure ... makes you want to pack up and head of into the wilderness. Lots of items on display and the staff always seem to be experienced in outdoor activities which helps when you require sound advice.

Price on item (sleeping bag) different from price at till and also different again from item on display... Staff were friendly but made me slightly feel like a fraud for questioning price!

Searched high & low for clear coloured methylated spirits, & found it by accident at TISOs. They did have the normal blueish coloured ones too. I think that if youre cleaning anything critical, the blue stuff may leave a blue dye residue...?
