Barrier no 3 is located at hassanabdal facing on GT Road.Now they have updated the entrance registration both, you can get temporary registration from a drive through. Two boothes are in place.

Well new system of permission slip is great relief. But I dont like the system of issuing slips in drive through as the fuel is burning and que is quite long thus wastage of fuel and pollution stuff etc

Outbound city.Now the token system for intrace is more feasible you needs to display your NIC and Driving Licence only to get intrace in wah in the form of computerised slip which you have to return after your trip ends in wah. You dont require to hold any documents to the barrier staff.

Building is nice but the staff is not motivated.. their E-tag sensor doesnt work mostly.. the procedure and rules of getting entry pass for non e-tag vehicles is too complicated.. and if your identity card is not collected within three days youll have to go through the more complicated procedure.. that will probably make your head spin or even explode..

Security is very strict at the barrier which is great for tourist and locals safety. Staff is bit serious at the barrier but I understand the seriousness of their job.
