Newly constructed state-of-the-art health centre Wah Cantt General Hospital was completed and inaugurated on 12th April 2018. The 1st Phase of 100 bedded hospital is completed while it would be extended to 500 beds.As many as 201 staff including doctors, nurses would perform their duties, while 11 departments including radiology,pediatric, orthopedic,gynecology,emergency and surgeons would be available to provide best health facilities to the residents of #Wah,#Taxila and adjoining districts.Nine specialists, nine medical officers, seven women medical officers, three dental surgeons and other Para-medical staff had also been recruited for this hospital.

Excellent building good doctors but there is one issue. The staff is also fine cooperative and humble. Displined area no one breaks the lane of information desk. Facility are not fully available but are coming soon. Everything is free except the test charges.The one big issue is that the doctors there wrote extra medicines for the patients which are not necessary for them. Few medicines are free but the doctor will wrote medicines that are not available in there stores and the patient have to buy from external stores which gets expensive.

Wah General Hospital is a big hospital. It is a free hospital for general public. It is funded by Punjab Government. Good building. It has started its few functions but not in full swing. OPD and with some specialities and Emergency department is running. IPD has not been started yet. It is a very good facility for the local public and surrounding population.
