Good weather, sunny. Most stores i needed were open...food basic, shoppers dm, tdbank. Outside not that much traffic and people follows distancing. Going for a walk is good for your health.

However, Now that the renovations have completed over the months of closure. Not only the Mall looks great but the Fiesta Restaurant looks fantastic and has AIR CONDITIONING & T.V (YESsss)!

Had no idea theres a group of shops that sell South-Asian clothes.Was particularly looking for hijabs and got a few today!Everyone was maintaining distance and shopping on their own, which was nice to see!

Whenever im at east york town centre i feel like im in another country like the philippines great place to hang as soon this covid is over and things are back to normal life ill be hanging out there again

Cute mall. Lots of eclectic shops. Convenient that there is a bank, LCBO and Food Basics attached. Close to other shops like Costco. Lots of parking and clean environment.

Right now inside East York Town Centre, people are not following Covid rules. Even though seatings are removed and stores are closed. Groups of people are still congregating with their mask under their chins and leaning up on store doors hanging out with Timmys in their hands. Security is nowhere to be seen except the ones that are at LCBO.

Its a very convenient shopping center, lots of great stores!

I am disappointed to see numerous people not wearing masks/face coverings inside the mall. There are people loitering drinking coffee and chatting no observing social distance rules. Nobody seems to be reinforcing the bylaw.

Nice place to get you through routine stuff...Banks, Internet, fast food, grocery, food basic, money transfer, drug mart, dollarama, Gym, Tim Hortons and many more present there...

During this particular pandemic time, I found the place scarce of traffic. I found a shop a floor below (basement) with the most incredible prices I have ever seen. Bought a belt for $2.98. Suit jackets for $20!!! Bow ties for under $7!!!

Not a lot of shops but there are good and quality stores. Very roomy too, with accessibility and washrooms.

This is a nice mall with quite a few stores on two levels. Its across from theThorncliffe Costco on Overlea blvd so its convenient to other shopping as well. Ive mostly only gone there to use the bank, the drug store and grocery store but there are several other types of stores and restaurants or places to eat.

Very good place but need more brands.

Was under renovations in a busy Indian populated area of thorncliffe but is conveniently full with all you can ask for in a one stop shop or take in a movie

This is very convient and versatile mall. It has most of the banks , doctors and dentale offices and lot of halal food eating resturants and much more . I love this place

As far as food basics go, this is one of the cleanest ive seen. Seems like a renovation recently took place or they are anticipating the new competition from Costco across the street. Typically discount prices that you would find from a food basics.

Neighborhood mall. Got the basic stuff like dollar store, LCBO, Cel phone stores, groceries, fast food. One cool store is the Japanese dollar store which has some unique items for deals. Mostly the mall is geared for immigrants who have come to Canada recently - a lot of ethnic based clothing stores and shops. A large community of older people who like to chill out in the antiquated “food court” which has ethnic food stored in a manner that is not food safe. The new section of the mall seems like it will be good when it fully opens. Not sure about the parking lot that is full of hundreds of pigeons in the non winter months - especially when someone feeds them every day. Parking lots are dangerous as all of the entry and exits aren’t marked properly with stop signs or lines on the pavement.

Amazing plaza, very Ean, many useful stores

Its a nice place.. very well organised

It used to be such lively place. Now it looks simply sad. After the demise of Zellers, its not the same.Small stores with low quality merchandise keep popping in and out of existence. A large portion is going to be turned into a large medical facility.Parking along the north side is horrendous, extremely tight and extremely busy. If youre willing to walk a little extra, do not park in that area.Parking near Food Basics can be bad for your cars paint. Despite all the signs, people keep feeding birds and these animals of avian variety have no qualms about leaving their opinions of your cars on their paint jobs.

The mall is spacious, but looks fairly run down with only a couple big name stores. Theyre adding more slowly and seem to be modernizing it. Its a hang out place for students and adults, and filled with a lot of medical offices

Go there for essentials because its close but traffic sucks in this area due to ttc upgrades. Property could use an update lots of empty space..maybe with the new transit the area will improve.

Well, I am going to very truthful here.... The place has seriously gone down hill. 25 years ago this mall was something worthwhile going to. But with out a place like Zellers, it doesnt have a place that draws you in like that anymore. The place feels run down and with all the construction to make stuff face outside, I dont see the point anymore. The only savings grace and its not much of one.... It has a Food Basics attached to the mall. I think they should consider getting ride of the place and going the direction of Shops at Don Mills, because this is not a great place to visit anymore.

A very strange dated mall , wandered in here after visiting costco. The stores are old and very random, I went into the food basics to pick up a few things . It reminded me of a mall in the 80s the way it was structured brought back flashbacks from my youth.

Frequently visits Food Basics, Shoppers Drug Mart, Banks and Dollarama. Love the Mall as it is within walking distance to my place of residence.

If you prefer quality items then this is not the good place.

Let’s just say it’s a nice place with a senior citizen vibe to it. Has a little bit of everything under one roof.Lots of sitting area at the food court where people meet and greet as well for hours. Not to mention there are few free wifi available as well from the local businesses.For few years, we owned a post office there since 1999 so I also have an emotional connection to the place.Also it has been newly renovated as well. Enjoy a little bliss of relaxation as the flow of traffic is reasonable.

If you want to shop here is a store. Inside there are products. I remember one day when I went there. I spent time walking around looking at items and was thinking WOW I love being here. Especially on that day. It was great!

The mall is pretty barebones, theres a few decent stores like a shoppers drug mart, LCBO, Food Basics, Tim Hortons, TD Canada Trust bank and a bunch of small stores that sell furniture, costume jewelry, electronics and a few cell phone stores like Rogers, Bell (kiosk) Koodo, Fido and Freedom mobile with a Dollarama. Theres not much else unless you want to shop at a discount clothing store or small vegetable stand.I would avoid the jewelry store the workers there are extremely rude and pushy and will insult you

Despite being a smaller regional mall, the East York Town centre has some hidden gems. The new Dollarama store is filled with great deals. The staff at the Freedom mobile store are very helpful. If you are on a grocery budget, forget Loblaws and Sobeys and make your over to the Food Basics here. Their produce department is great and their dairy Dept is very well priced especially for milk,cheese, and yogurts. There is also a wonderful kitchen supply store here, brand new, with many good European brand names.

Yet another store has recently closed. No point having a food court when there are barely any options.

IQBAL store where you get all groceries, meat, dairy products veggies. Indian and Pakistani spices galore. Lot of parking space available.

The accessibility of this mall is good, but the quality of the merchandise in stores is cheap and you would probably find better products elsewhere. However, if you are looking for regular day-to-day basis stuff, the Shoppers Drug Mart store and Dollarma along with the Food Basics should serve about right. The only issue I have with this place is the bad quality of their clothing stores, but considering their prices, it should be no surprise for something that cheap.

Food Basics now have halal tasty whole roasted chicken in 9 dollars

Many merchants seem to randomly make prices up! ridiculously inflated prices for electronics, shoe repair, jewelry repair, etc. Ive been quoted $60 for services or goods sold everywhere else for $20 repeatedly!!!

I found the mall to be clean, nice, and i enjoyed my experience there. Good for a girls night out, and parking was very, very empty for some reason. I enjoyed it!
