This place is usually cool, but I got a bunk alternator, & they wont exchange it for me because they closed early. Usual closing time is 9pm. I arrived at 8:45, & they were boarded up. The guy inside said he was closed, & wasnt going to do the exchange because the registers are off.

Was there and was very satisfied because they did and gave me all the information need to ensure that we where getting the right part for our car.Needed to know about nut and boilt sizes in order to install the part ,and they got on the computer and looked them up and got us the right tools in order to do so.Thanks Im glad i chose to go there.

I have never had anything but a good experience here. I get all of my oil and coolant here. I get all of my parts here. I always find the bulb I need here. And every part Ive ever needed theyve had in stock.But the best experience by far is the batteries. I bought a battery here and it has been running flawlessly for six or seven years.Oh, and, the guys at the counter will go out of their way to help you figure stuff out. So the parking lot is an all-day DIY repair scene.

Who in the hell is O Reily anyhow? I guess it sounds better Lee Ang Whans auto parts. Great job upper management in your choice in American sounding name. Much more personal sounding than Autozone.

Best thing about this location is the easy parking. Also a plus is its proximity to a ton of restaurants, shops, and a new Safeway just up the street. Aside from that you can expect average service, average selection, and average prices.

In the old days there would be 3 or 4 of this type of store that you could depend on for that blown fuse, burnt out tail light or busted fan belt in your average town.Today they are a bit rarer and for an actualreplacement part you might need your rabbits foot, fingers crossed and wait a bit while it is ordered for you.I have had a lot of luck with OREILLYS. More times than not they have had what I needed and when they said they would have it in a couple of days...They did.Last time I was there they had the right battery cable, windshield wiper blades and I only bought the oil because I couldnt pass up on that killer of a deal.A great store, friendly staff and decent hours and selection.

Again, shopping at this particular OR store was not a pleasant experience with a clerk arguing with a customer instead of saying Ive done all I could to help you, but heres the deal... The clerk did not say that because he did not do all he could, he would rather risk confrontation and argument. I will continue to avoid this store and shop at other OReillys, the ones where I dont feel the vibe of an impending ist fight hanging in the air.

Outstanding Service!I came in tonight because I got a ticket for a burned out brake light. The guys working there helped me find the right replacement bulb and even came outside to put it in and check that it was working. Now thats service!

Im giving it 5 stars because when I walked in two of the clerks were laughing and joking around and immediately greeted me. If was raining outside and my new pre-owned cars needed windshield wipers. I know that because the windshield had just been replaced. He immediately found the right wiper blades and with a sincere smile offered to put them on for me. I accepted, gratefully, and , I can see clearly now, rain or shine!

Its hard to expect an employee to know everything there is to know about the items in the store, but I rented a compression tester that I thought might have been leaky itself. When asking the clerk if they could verify if I was using it correctly, I got a I dunno. Youtube it.

Its what it is. OReilly auto parts and accessories. Loooooooots and looots of accessories. .. some of which drive the point that this is a not locally owned Corp ; deicer, ice removal equipment etc... its oakland california. We have had 2 snow days in 30 years. By snow I mean it snowed but did not take and melted. Yes it freezes at night occasionally in winte, but a hose with water works. Maybe the global warming will change that and make it colder. Odd thing global warming is if it its colder.. but Im not a govmit scientist so what do I know.This used to be a kragen and a gap store. Dont tell noone!

Brian is an aceptional human being - he really went the extra mile just to help us with a battery. Then we called back the next day for another part (car problems are relentless) and he not only remembered us, but remembered that it was my friends birthday! Thats someone who is present. You dont see that much these days anymore. I would ask for him by name. Secondly, Ive never received bad service here, which is why I was going here in the first place. Last, their prices cant be beat. Go here if you can.

An auto parts store backed by a large chain of stores, providing a vast range of parts. The store itself was the usual auto parts store. You park in the parking lot, the huge patches of oil thickening the asphalt where the engines of old jalopies drip their fluids slowly, sometimes not so slowly, onto the pavement benieth. Step through the door and you are greeted with the smell of cars, their various greases, paints, cleaning fluids, and sundry other smells, blending together into a beautiful aroma which is pleasant and brings to mind many delightful hours spent in the garage, the car up on stands, working on the odd stuck bolt or faulty alternator, alternately cursing the fool who designed a bolt which could only be removed by a cutting torch or act of God, and thinking how fortunate you are to be working on your car in your warm garage instead of laying on the freezing snow, your fingers numb and lifeless, limply fumbling a wrench onto the cold bolt of a recently deceased power steering pump. Yes, all this and more comes to mind as you walk up to the counter, and are greeted by a smiling guy in greasey overalls. He looks up your part in his computer, then vanishes into the back to retrieve it. You stand and stare at the gauge clusters and think how nice a large racing tachometer would look in the dash of your 94 Civic (currently with automatic transmission, no tach). But then theres the guy again with your part. He rings it up and you pay for it, and walk out the door. Home again swiftly, swiftly you fly. Swiftly because you can keep your car running smoothly with the amazing parts and service from OReillys Auto Parts.
