I have been visiting Makli since long time and come across with a fact that We can make this historical point very well maintained but unfortunately no one cares.

First of all, do not swim in the water since google says its a swimming lake and neither drink or touch the water as it can be poisonous. I had always heard about the Spencer Lake, located in Australia but last weekend when we decided to have lunch at one of our most favourite restaurants, Cafe Imran, we decided to drive further and take a good look at the Makli Graveyard which is a thousand years old cemetery. Right next to that graveyard we found this pond of water. It could have been an ordinary pond but we were surprised when we happened to witness another pond which was pink in colour! It looked so gorgeous. Im not sure what was the reason for its change i colour but I kind of have heard that this change is due to some bacteria found in the water. So Im not sure if theres fish in that water but it was worth taking a look!
