Some time airport staff did not perform their duties as per required means taking long time speaciely emigration staffs , over all its good and very close to my home and easy to reach with a short time.

A very normal/average International Airport.It is not busy at all. Thats why security team waste alot of your time in security check.Its location is outside the city, the road which leads to it is of very poor condition.There is no maintenance at all, there is garbage everywhere on the road in front of an International Airport. Thats it.

First privately owned public airport in Pakistan. It was built by the business community of Sialkot by their own efforts.

I am really Disappointed with Services of this airport. First of all the helpers in uniform outside the airport makes you feel terrible, secondly one of them took my luggage and charged me intensely which does not make any sense not just that after getting the charges he went outside to my family and said he did not get anything at all and charged more. Secondly inside the airport is a big joke they make you open the luggage and then opposite side there was custom officers will do the same who terrible, we dont get this kind of treatment from other airports. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

Sialkot International Airport really world class. Fast check-ins and security. Sialkot Airport is first airport in Pakistan which are totally controlled by Sialkot Exporters. Very Good and excellent. it also had the longest runway in Pakistan. Sialkot is a major export hub of Pakistan. The airport authority is currently working with a private company to develop the airport to meet international standards. The airport has developed a new runway so heavier aircraft can land. There is a new terminal currently being built to deal with increase in passengers as well as cargo imports and exports.

Terrible experience. Security checks were unusually difficult. They made us open our bags and take out everything and get multiple print outs of our tickets, hotel booking and pcr test results (only one copy/email is sufficient for any other airport) which was a lot of hassle, the staff wasnt acquainted with visa procedures (they went back and forth trying to confirm everything) and the airport itself had very little options if one wants to buy something to eat (no shops to buy anything other than food).

In Oct 24th 2020 i travld from Sialkot airport they hv very pathetic services and pathetic staff as well they dnt hv any manners and ethics poor behaviour of staff even they dnt hv any gutts to treat talk to passngers 1st time in my history i travel from Sialkot airport before this i m always using ISLAMABAB airport for travelng purpose and not facing any single issue seriously i hv very bad experinc with these type of peoples never ever want to travel from Sialkot airport they are only greedy peoples they want to snatch the money from passngers thts it 0%for all services......

Sialkot international airport is very easy to approach for the Sialkot, gujranwala, and gujrat districts i like it

As like all other airports of Pakistan but yes there is a difference that its a private airport sponsored by chamber of commerce sialkot... But the problem is link road which is connected to highway sialkot-wazirabad from this airport that is of 6 km, road is broken which should be repaired at least.

Today is the flight ️ of PIA will be departure fro Sialkot International Airport to Sharjah Airport,Airport staff is not following the Covid19 SOPs, they must have to wear the mask and compliance to travellers,

They took 150 at exit. Even lahore Airport takes 100. Also extremely below average.

My visit at the airport was quite better , security system is fair . Sialkot airport has one of the biggest runway in Asia. Although the roads from sambryal to the airport must be paved and carpeted.

Finally got dubai visa 8 oct 2020. If any one have any qurrey email me [email protected] any one can get dubai visa no age no city restriction open for all

The staff is not good specially FIA and people check your luggage. They have scaning matchenes then they only ask you to open the stuff which is wraped and you have to wrape it again by paying them. The tone in which they speak is pathatic. I gave the 2 stars for building only.

This is the first time someone asked me to open all luggage bags, open and switch on my laptop, first time I have been asked to go and check my visa active status even though its pasted on my passport.Everyone asking money at airport started with counter outside the main gate till the photocopier.Worst airport experience ever

Not so new as of now but still looks like it is built just days ago. It is built with all modern amenities included and they also keep it very clean. This airport also has many domestic flights as well as international flights...

V bad experience to use this airport, miss behaviour and awkward way of talking and charge 200 rupees in vain as porter fee(200pkr is not a big amount but why did they charge axtra 200) even I didnt use this porter service.

Aviation & immigration staff misbehaves with passengers and temper to get non-required informations.

I was welcomed by smiley and smart looking staff, which is slightly unusual. The plane was clean and the seats comfortable. The pillows were on each seat along with blankets. In flight entertainment was ready before the flight was even taken off. The screens were in front of you on the back of the front seats and you can choose from Movies, Cartoons, Games, TV Shows, camera and more. All touch screen. When the lunch arrived, they had a menu with options. We were offered Fish Pasta, Chicken curry with rice and lamb with rice. Once we finished with the food, we were offered drinks and staff tidied everything. After few hours we were offered snack of a croissant with cheese and chicken (tasty and fresh) along with lemon tart and tea. The plane was PIA Premier. When initially I took the flight from London to S, it was the basic Boeing 777, but the return flight was a wow. As long as PIA can replicate this to other planes, this will certainly change the perception.

This Airport is the 1st airport in the history of Pakistan which is constructed by the exporter of the Sialkot City and the chamber of commerce maintained this very well Although custom officers disturb you but if you know how to deal with them it is Good for you. This Airport is very helpful for the surrounding cities due to reduce the distance. otherwise people have to go Lahore, Islamabad.

I remember coming to Sialkot from Lahore airport by road in my teenage and it would be a longer travel to home even when i have reached Pakistan. Alhumdulillah Sialkot has an airport. People with negative comments dont realize what people in old days suffered from when there was just karachi airport and people had to travel their homes in the north.

Nice airport which spreads over a big area.unique feature is that International and Domestic Lounges are in different buildings with separate car parkings. Emirates, Qatar, flydubai, Saudi airlines are operating at this airport along with PIA. I come to know that this airport was built provately by Sialkot chamber of Commerce members.

Introduction to SIALKOT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTThe Export Triangle of Pakistan comprising Gujrat, Sialkot and Gujranwala is internationally famous for producing and exporting Sports Goods, Gloves, Surgical instruments, Sports Wears, Cutlery, Ceramics, and Leather Garments etc. The Air cargo for the area was sent to Lahore, Islamabad & Karachi Airports via Sambrial Dry Port. It was a tough exercise indeed as it involved extra expenses and time apart from other difficulties faced by the exporters. More over, the customers from abroad were hesitant and reluctant to travel to Sialkot, Wazirabad and Gujrat due to security reasons and it has been a matter of great in-convenience for the exporters of this very region. Due to these logistic problems, full export potential of these cities was not being realized. Hence, the demand for an Airport in Gujranwala Division was voiced by the Traders, Businessmen, exporters and general public especially the Overseas Pakistanis of this area since long time.The exporters of Sialkot had exhibited a strong will and spirit in the recent past by establishing the Sambrial Dry Port Trust on self help basis and operating it successfully. While accepting the challenging task again, they took the initiative and Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry pleaded the case of Airport with the Government of Pakistan but due to financial constrains, the Govt. expressed its in-ability to this effect. The dedicated and highly motivated exporters of Sialkot equipped with strong driving force and determination ultimately succeeded in their mission. During the presentation made by SCCI on 2nd Feb. 2001, the President of Pakistan very graciously gave approval in principle for the construction of an International Airport at Sialkot on Build, Own & Operate (BOO) basis and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Defence through Civil Aviation Authority.The first green field Airport of the country has been constructed in an Investment friendly atmosphere, incorporating the best Airport facilities meeting international standards. Sufficient space has been allocated and reserved at the Airport for Airline offices, Aircraft Catering Units, Ground Handling Services, Cargo Warehouses, Restaurant & Car parking and Hotel etc. The total cost of the International Airport is about Rs.4 billion. The operation of Domestic and International Flights started from November 30, 2007. Qatar Air started its two weekly cargo flights in October, 2008. Recently, however the Government permitted foreign carriers to start their passenger flights from and to Sialkot. Resultantly, Air Arabia started its daily flight on the sector Sharjah-Sialkot-Sharjah from 11th January, 2013 whereas, Fly Dubai is operating its passenger Flights thrice a week with effect from 1st March, 2013. Emirates Air has started its Passenger Flight Operation from 5th November 2013. Gulf Air has started its operation from 17th Jan 2014. Similarly, Qatar Air, Oman Air, Etihad are also doing their spade work to start their passenger flights from Sialkot. The Collector of Custom has established a full fledged Air Freight Unit (AFU) at Sialkot Airport and bonded trucking facility from Sialkot International Airport to Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar Airports is already operational. The Government of Pakistan has very kindly approved the establishment of ASF, Custom, Immigration, MET and other support services free of cost at this Airport. At the moment, 365 Directors are the members of the SIAL Board.

The building overall is fine but people/service also contribute in giving the impression. The immigration staff, security, cleaning and other related staff needs complete overhauling. Staff looked rude and little sense of professionalism and sense of service. Old staff must be replaced with young energetic new staff with PROPER TRAINING of service and behaviour. Airports are the 1st impression of a country which must not be ignored.

Services staff needs training. Must find a way to save checked baggage from rain.CIP lounge food picking area was dirty. Needs lot of improvement there in terms of quality.Shelf life of food items kept was not visible. Coffee machine was dirty.

Small but clean and well organised airport. I have been travelling from Sialkot airport from past 4 years and used approximately 10 times. All the staff from immigration, security, check in and airline staff are very organised and very professional.

Not too rushy and lot of parking is available almost 24hrs

Pathetic conditions of cleanliness. Just look at roof lights. It seems no one has bothered to clean them ever since theyve been installed. Its a small airport and its not a big deal for SIAL authorities to keep it clean. Safai Nisf Iman ha.
