Amazing place to be visited on vacation. Fort is not in its initial condition but there are still some parts that are untouched and have been preserved by management. There is a police station and Mayer Office there and a few more offices...

Sialkot Fort is one of the oldest forts in Pakistan. The city of Sialkot, which is one of the oldest cities of Pakistan, has historical significance due to the Fort. Historian Diayas Jee has stated that Raja Sálbán, a Puar Rajput re-established Sialkot city around the 2nd century CE. and ruled over the area between the rivers Ravi and Chenab. Sálbán built the Sialkot Fort in two years (which, at the time, had double walls) for the defense of the city. Raja Sálbán, supposedly, used more than 10,000 laborers and masons for the repair and extension of the Fort with stone slabs and rocks which were brought to the location from Pathankot

It was a historical place in last century but due negligency of local administration it is destroyed. They alloted place to there favorite ones for money and those favorite ones destroyed this place by making marriage hall. They earned money but destroyed the beauty of Fort.

Original fort is almost gone and has been replaced by some public institutions including a govt. school, police station and Distt. Admin. Offices.

Only place here you can see is TMA and local govt offices constructed on high altitude, rest heres nothing historical you will find

The actual fort doesnt exist anymore, fort was located on an elevated hill so there are some good views of the city worth some photographs, but no fort just Govt offices

There were some ruins of the old construction in the past but today its sadly just the old mound having modern buildings over it.

Forts are always amazing because of their history but government have destroyed this beautiful historic place .now Fort is only its name .

Sialkot fort is historical fort. Govt. should promote for tourism..govt did not preserve well this historic place. I have been twice there but I always saw rubbish on the street which is quite annoying if you visiting fort as a traveller .govt should take step to make nice tourist spot for people who travel to fort from around the area.thank you so much.

Sialkot Fort exists in middle of Sialkot city. It is a much high place if compared with surrounding areas. It was built in ancient times.To reach the top of the fort, you may opt to climb through stairs or road circulating around the fort.The shrine of the very well renowned and respected religious personality Peer Muradia is also on the top of the fort.Further, a commerce college, marriage hall and local government offices are also there.

A small historical fort with old bazar but no care has been taken of fort. It is just a parking place close to the bazar

Its a mound right in the centre of the city, with old town with its narrow streets and old houses and the old shopping area to the side of it. Although there is not much that is visible of the ancient fort but part of a battlement and wall, yet the drive or walk up the road or stairs does provide you a view of the old city and an interesting feel.

Its classic situation and panoramic view makes its attractive. Its situated at a bit elevated position. Most important muncipality offices situated here. Very important gold market is nearby. It is said during 65 war a bomb shell was dropped here but luckily didnt exploded. Its traditional and one of the old area in the Sialkot city
