Jinnah Stadium Sialkot,One of the best and the oldest cricket stadium of Pakistan. It was built by the British in the 1920s. The original name of this stadium was Concelly Park after the name changed to Jinnah Stadium in the 1950s.Sialkot the home of sports. Every sport equipment is made here and used throughout the world specially cricket.This Stadiums condition is very bad.

Jinnah International Cricket Stadium is a famous venue in Sialkot. It was a very busy Cricket Stadium in Sialkot once. Now a days International Cricket is not played here but national cricket and local cricket is hosted here. It is the only international ground in this area. Should be improved by PCB. Many well known players started their international Cricket career here.

Jinnah International Cricket Stadium is the biggest Stadium of Sialkot city. It is surrounded by railway track on one side, a lush green park on second side and offices and residential areas on remaining sides.It is having sitting capacity of more than 25,000 persons.Many international matches have been played here.It is located near railway crossing on the road from Rangpura to Cantonment area.

I hope that this stadium will soon allowed to host the international matches again So that the world come to know That Pakistan is not a terrorist country but it is suffering from terrorism and is fighting against it. Moreover Pakistan is a very Peaceful and beautiful country.

The stadium hosted many International one day and test cricket matches in the past but now very few domestic events are held here. Its been a long time since any international cricket event took place in the stadium.The stadium need serious attention from the authorities.Sachin Tendulkar played his debut match in this stadium.

After independence, it was renamed as Jinnah Park. It is the home ground of Sialkot Stallions.The first Test here was played in 1985 and the last in 1995. Pakistan played its first ever ODI at home on this ground in 1976. It was against New Zealand. It was also New Zealand’s first ODI against Pakistan. Jinnah Stadium is known for its green-top pitches that help fast bowlers. The stadium has a lot of memories with it.In 1976, New Zealand fielder talking to leg umpire during the 1976 Pakistan-New Zealand ODI at Jinnah Stadium, Sialkot. Jinnah Stadium was earlier named after a british personality Sir Kanllay caller Kanllay park in 1980 that changed to Jinnah after the name of nations father Muhammad Ali Jinnah. That has brought many changes to this stadium, there were many international cricket matches has been held here and many records has been set by national and international players in this ground.
