Typical Pakistani government employee behavior, they want me to attach depositer copy(my own copy) of submitted fee along with passport office copy which is very strange. But overall it took me 30 minutes because it was raining and there were very few applicants at the office.

My review is regarding fee submission at National bank main branch saddar RawalpindiWell i submitted the fee at nbp saddar Rawalpindi on 28th Jan 2020. I went to apply for passport on 6th Feb. All went okk then. But when i went to receive the passport on 24th feb the person said that my fee is not verified. I was asked to visit bank myself and collect a list bank scroll from there (which was basically duty of bank) and submit to passport office. So my suggestion is if you submit fee in some other branch you might face the same problem. It is suggested to submit fee at the passport office to avoid anything like this.

Download the passport form from nbp official website. (Download section). Print it and fill the passport fee (as mentioned latest on the website dgip.gov.pk )Submit the chalan in designated branches. and then go to passport office. You need original cnic, 2 cnic copies, original paid bank challan and previous passport and its copy (if you have)When you reach office, directly go to token place. If you do all this, process will take around 1 hourOtherwise you will complain like most Pakistanis and waste a lot of time because you didnt learn the procedure.

Those who can afford should visit the Rehmanabad branch instead of this office. Absolute chaos and confusion. The management can handle it but they are not willing. The basic facilities in the waiting are very less. Majority of the people are standing. In this weather it is almost unbearable. Very slow process.

The time is till 02Pm from Monday to Friday and 12:30Pm on friday. You need to bring the Chalan that you have submitted in national bank. 2 id card copies and old passport if there is renewal. Cause of rush of people you have to wait in the end on your turn for interview. Rest process take hardly 30mins.

If you want to avoid as much khuwari as possible, deposit the fee beforehand. If you dont, you will spend half the time depositing fees. So, to save time do this:1. Download the passport challan form from NBPs website (under Forms and Applications).2. Print and deposit it at any one of the 22 NBP branches mandated with passport fee collection in Rawalpindi. The complete list is on DGIPs website.3. Visit passport office and go directly to the token counter.Note: You can also pay the Passport fees through JazzCash app to skip step 1 and 2 as well!

Very well managed office. To save your time come with passport and id card copies. Get challan form (normal/urgent) fill it and pay the fee. Then get into the line of passport hall. Staff is very polite. Follow the rules and youll be amazed that process is smooth. It took me exact 1 hr for all process including fee submittion. :)Tip: Dont wait for notification that your passport is ready. they need to improve that service.

We went around 8:40 on Thursday and there werent that many people considering..., all you guys need to worry about when getting your first passport is to bring your NIC and money, youll need to attach two photocopies of your NIC to the challan after quickly paying it at the bank that is in the same building, but dont worry even if you forget the photocopies because theres a photocopier next to the passport office, you can ask the people there for its exact location, after youve paid the challan form and attached the photo copies get in the line and wait for your turn, nothing to it, though you might want to take a day off for this if you have a job, since it will probably take a couple of hours. Good luck .

I went to the office at 08:00am (sharp) and stood in the Que outside the office. At around 8:15am the gates were opened and everyone started entering the premises. When I entered I notice there was no more Que anymore, infact everyone was over a guy besides a desk who was distributing bank challan forms. I took the challan filled it and got in bank Que. Around 9:15am a guy in bank window came and started taking challans. After submitting fee I went to the token Que, infact there was no Que everyone was sitting on the benches (Not linewise) he called 5-6 people after couple of minutes and if youre near to him you will be able to enter the main building for the process otherwise wait for next call. When you enter the main building it will take 1 hour just for taking your pictures, filling passport information and getting it verified. Its hardly a 15 minute job but the people sitting over there are so slow, infact they dont give a damn and work just like usually government offices work. Overall (-tive) review if you are clever enough to get into breaking Ques and out smart others you will be able to submit everything in 2 hours, if not then you will have to come in 2 separate days, one for bank challan and one for submission of documents.

I went there on Friday at 8.30am and learned the parking (Rs. 30 fee) was a little far from the building, took challan form and filled them with the pen I had brought with me and immediately got into the queue for submitting Rs. 3030 fee by 8.45am. Bank opened at 9am and there was only 1 guy who received challan/fee for male and female queues, both, so dead-slow pace. I was able to submit fee by 10.30am and quickly went into TOKEN queue and was able to get the TOKEN by 11.30am and then the process went smooth and I left at 12am with my PASSPORT RECEIVING DATE 19 days from the application date. PURE TYPICAL PAKISTANI ZALALAT EXPERIENCE.

The process: 1. Reach there early, by 8:30. 2. Collect the fee deposit challan form from a cleric who distributes them inside the main gate. 3. Fill the challan and queue up for fee deposit. 4. Documents required: 1 copy of CNIC, 1 Copy of Passport (if you have old/expired one) along with originals. If the passport is being made for under 18s take a copy of Nadra CRC, and original and copies of CNIC and passports of both parents. 5. Take the documents to the token issuiance counter and have your (or your childs) picture taken. Once token is issued go to the waiting area where tokens are called for further processing on different counters. 6. In the end you will be called to the AD office and once he approves your application will be submitted. The whole process takes between 2 and 4 hours. You are bound to come across at least one or two rude and obnoxious clerics but that is pretty usual in Pakistan.Hope it helps

A government office is situated at a place, where parking can be a problem for visitors. Staff are reasonable inside the office at computer desks. Bank facility is also also provided inside the premises.Keep photo copies and change along with to avoid unpleasant experienceby visiting copier shops or looking for change in the last minutes. In case of any problem management can be approached, who listen and support if issue is on merit. To avoid rush, be at entrance around 7.45 am (Monday through Friday) and take tokens to wait in queue.mean while bank challans can be filled and fee can be deposited to save time.
