Great technicians. Fair pricing and good mobil 1 oil. The only complaint, I asked for 5w-20 which my car takes and they added 5-30. Should have had them drain and refill

First the price was high for a 4 cylinder about $20 over then the cap was left off of the water reservoir. I had to go save my wife from the side of the road. Good thing my wife pulled over right away or it could have been very bad.

Avoid this place.Service was fast and I tipped the guy but upon reading the paperwork I saw that they set my front tires to 35 psi in my rear tires to 40 psi.The driver side door when opened contains the correct pressure setting for that car’s tires. For my vehicle, that is 44 psi for the front tires and 48 psi for the rear tires. I don’t know how that was missed? Had to correct the tire pressure myself before driving any long-distance and damaging my tires. Common sense does not exist here.Update: they filled up my windshield washer fluid because it was empty. Went to use it the other day. They just filled it with water.Now I question if they even did the oil change I paid for. From my experience and the reviews on here it’s likely they did nothing. Will never go to a SpeeDee again.

They dont do appointments here, its a first come first serve basises kind of place. Fast and very affordable services, I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Worst place i took my car to them they changed the oil then after 1 week i saw my car engine start leaking the oil it never happend before my car engine was soo clean but now it full of oil leaking i will never took my car to them if u love your car dont take to them they are careless people. They even dont check tier pressure but the list they gave back its marked with checked tier pressur actually they dont do they dont even wear the mask but they tell other to wear mask watelse i say. The girl behind the counter was rude and changed the channel on the tv without even looking if anyone might have been watching. Not 1 person in there was wearing a mask even though it is required indoors. All the customers were however. The girl behind the counter was not 6 feet from me and there is no excuse. No concern for customers at all. No one expects the oil changers to wear masks when they are working on the cars, but when they come in to discuss the results , they should wear masks. I will never go back there. And a couple other people there said the same thing.

Since I moved to Manteca a year ago I loved coming here. So professional and honest and I felt comfortable bringing my cars here. But I took one of my cars on 8/20/2020 to get an oil change and I was shocked on how unprofessional the team was during these crazy times. Yes, I get it not everyone is not taking Covid serious but as a paying customer I was shocked that all the employees including the manager on duty were not wearing a mask at all. And the manager was coughing a lot because of the smoke from all the fires. The only time an employee had a mask on was when he approach me and my fiance getting our information. During the whole time while the team was doing our oil change (and we were the only customer there) they were joking around so much we had to go outside to make sure that they were not joking around when it came to our car and also because the manager was coughing with no mask on. And yes, they were joking around until they noticed us outside. When the employee was finished with our car, he approached me with no mask on and notified me everything was okay. After I came out from paying for our oil change I then notice that the employee who took our car out the garage had no gloves on and no mask. Now, I am a pretty chill person and I usually never say anything but come on?? I didnt want to make a big deal so i asked the manager on duty, are the employees suppose to wear gloves and a mask while handling the vehicles? She said uhhhhhhh yes they are suppose to and I told her well they arent and the employee who took my car out had no gloves and mask on. I asked her for some wipes to wipe the inside of my car down but she only had paper napkins and sanitizer. So I just use that and my own stuff. I never write these kind of reviews but after this experience I felt the need. I did call later and asked when the owner will be in but it bothered me and my fiance so much I decided to write my personal experience. Unfortunately, we will no longer be coming back to this place.

It was quick...Found out from my son- in-law that Jiffy Lube gives 50% off for first responders...whole lot better than SpeeDee

I might have given 5 stars ,but got oil change and filter..paid $120.00.. they said everything was checked out good..They said tire pressure was checked and good...when I got back in car the Tire pressure light still showed low..same 24psi that it was before oil change. With bright light saying Inflate to 32psi. ..No real big deal ,except it was marked on bill as done and I was told it was done. Receptionist was cool and friendly.

DONT DO BUSINESS HERE! Terribly incompetent staff. Their office area is closed so I was directed to wait in the waiting area outside. After standing where I was directed (right in front of the store) and seeing a couple cars that arrived after me go in ahead of me, I decided to tell them Ive been waiting (not that it wasnt obvious or anything). I told the guy here that Id been waiting for about 40 minutes and his reply was, Thats not my problem because Im busy too.... Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere, theres nothing speedee about these people.

My pump went out on my truck in the summer because I wasn’t keeping my gas above half. I had to take off work and find somewhere fast and needless to say this was my best option. I use my truck for work, so I was pushy in getting it up and running right away. The techs there dealt with me very professionally and provided me with a good time estimate as to when it would be ready. They got the job done and I was back up and running in no time

If you want somewhere to change your oil, have general repairs made or even a Smog done, somewhere that is not out to take shortcuts or short change you while giving you the best customer service you can get, THIS IS THE PLACE. Have been coming here for 14 years and have NEVER had a complaint. They take good care of you and your car.

Total Headache.I bring in my own oil and filter, easy enough.It starts with the SpeeDee tech insisting that my 4cyl 2.0L takes 9 quarts. After insisting he is mistaken, he feels the need to add that my Audi is garbageAfter realizing these guys are probably not qualified, I keep an eye on the process.The tech was filling my car with conventional oil. One of the techs, realizing Im watching, shouts out for him to use the oil I provided; Again, sketchy.After filling oil, he starts my car and proceeds to rev it over and over. He doesnt re check the level and just slams the hood.I drive away, suspecting that they probably didnt change my oil filter. About 50 miles later my Low oil level light turns on.I end up stopping the car to find puddles of oil dripping from underneath!I have photos and video.Understand, SpeeDee, you were on the verge of replacing an Audi engine!Im going to take my car to a reputable oil change station and plan on escalating this.Do not trust this shop!

Came to the SpeeDee in Manteca off of Louise Rd, with my girlfriend to get her oil changed. Everything was fine, the bill was a little high but that’s not the reason I’m leaving this review. My girlfriend always keeps $15 worth of coins in a gum container in a relatively safe space in the car, and we get the car back from them and leave town. My girlfriend looks around, she can’t find the money. Mind you, when she looks, the only other place we had been before was the SpeeDee. So we believe one of the workers there stole our emergency money.

I went today like 2p.m. oil change. Thanks for a good job.

They do good work but tend to show up 5 minutes before the place opens so you end up with a chaotic mass of people trying to line up their vehicles to wait and it can be a pain. I still use them but not early.

They changed my oil but did not put the oil cap back. Next time I used my car the oil burst out and I ended up stranded with engine damages. Owner promised to pay expenses but now avoids my calls.11/18/2017 update: after 3 months of leaving messages and waiting for a check that NEVER arrived, the owner finally contacted me to arrange a time to pick up the reimbursement of my expenses. The owner was unapologetic about the time and effort that this negligence caused me. Furthermore, the owner conditioned the reimbursement on my update of this review, demonstrating no concern about customer satisfaction or professionalism.

Polite service personnel. They dont have the type of oil I normally would use in stock. Id have to purchase and bring those supplies to them. Same with the filter. I have a high mileage car. That would drop the price back to reasonable. They are a good basic service center for the standard oil and filter change if youre not picky about the oil or filter you want.

They didnt put all the bolts back in place and when I called to complain about it they denied it. And now my car is missing the skid plate.

Heres a review. The first car i took in, they started without the filter on correctly, it blew 4 quarts of synthetic ALL over the bottom of my car when they started it. The tech assured me they would rinse it all down (which just made a bigger mess when i got home) at check out, the receptionist tried to charge me for the extra oil, i had to point out it was on thier floor, not in my car. The second car i took in, they left the inspection plug out of the transmission, which blew transmission fluid all over the bottom as we unknowingly drove it around like that, again, they rinsed it down with water. The third time we went there, one of the staff stole a cbd cartridge of our daughters seizure medication from the center console. Total scumbag move, but, judging by the unkept look of the bay crew, and the broken down personal projects inside, i probably should have known better. I would only recommend this place to people you absolutely hate. If you value your car, your safety, and your property, i would seriously consider going elsewhere, these people arent worth your time or money.

In all honesty, I truly regret arriving to this place. Ive actually gone a couple of times and each time they tried to recommend me of problems I didnt even have. I also came to get full synthetic oil and not even a month later I started having problems and I soon took it to my family mechanic and it turns out they didnt give me the oil I requested, nor did they even put a decent amount. I was far below on oil and had to replace some parts. Overall, I once trusted this place and now I would would not recommend any body to go nor even consider it even if It was a last option.

They charged me a ridiculous 20 dollars EXTRA for my oil filter. OEM part on any website is 12 dollars. Oil change is supposed to INCLUDE the oil filter, which a 20 dollar upcharge is highway robbery. Never going back.

I came here to get an oil change about 1-2 months ago. I brought my own oil and filter, oil was synthetic. They charged me $40 and i checked my oil today and it was completely black and wasnt even synthetic and the filter wasnt the one i had brought them. Im assuming they just kept the oil i brought and gave me their cheapest oil. These are are dirty thiefs. I will never be coming back here and will be filing a report.

Went to get my oil changed on my diesel pick up truck they quoted me 300 dollars outrageous went across street to jiffy lube got it done for 178.

My car is over getting the oil changed. I came in for an AC service and the write up yet made every service I asked for discouraging. Basically everything was expensive and will take a lot of time to do. I was going to spend a bit of money on services but all it seemed they wanted to do was change my oil, damn sorry for driving across town for your help! I will never come here again!

I had 2 windshield wipers that had the rubber broken off from wear and tear. Thier INSPECTION marked it as good. Cant trust them if they ignore something @! $÷% easy like windshield wipers. 1/10. F+.

This place used to be the go-to place to get your oil and tune up done. But the past year or so, its gone down hill pretty badly. They treat you like a number now, and Ive been turned away several times because they were too busy despite going a half-hour before they open and waiting for them to arrive... 20 minutes late. This is a classic case of a business that Got Too Big and now doesnt care about its customer base. Ive taken my vehicles to SpeeDee for two decades, they were always great, but something happened last year... theyve lost my business. Clean up your act, SpeeDee.

Went here for the first oil change on my brand new car a couple months ago. I just found out while getting my second oil change that they didnt secure some fasteners underneath my car back into place, and broke one of them. Now I have to purchase new fasteners from the dealer after spending WAY to much money for the oil change in the first place. Do not go here, they obviously dont care about their customers vehicles.

I went here and they messed up my truck. I brought my suburban here and they didnt change out the oil filter and I specifically told the guy that it needs to be changed out and he did not do it and so I ended up having to spend 100 to get a sensor and had to have my husband change out the oil filter anyways.
