Extremely amazing experience after many years, when I used to stand in the lines for many many hours. Now, its really great to see major developments in this department. Staff is very cooperative and very efficient. They guide properly and I went their for licence renewal. I was free in almost 30 to 45 minutes. God bless those who are working there.

Improvements are appreciable, staff is cooperative, hall was bit congested due to high number of applicants but still they are managing in a better way. I have olny concern about the fee. As I was there for my driving license renewal (Normal) and on their website it was mentioned that renewal fee is Rs. 750/- but I have been charged for Rs. 1030/- including TCS charges. Overall they are serving good.

I visited the office after 6 years for renewal of my drivers license. It was a nice surprise. The place was opposite to any image of such offices we always had. It was a nice, clean and friendly environment with Digitalized data entry points and presence of a medical officer at the spot for necessary medical examination. Its a one window operation now to renew the license. Got through the whole process in an hour. Overall a very nice experience.

The information desk told that fresh learners or renewal of learners can not be done for other districts. One must have rawalpindi address on CNIC. However, renewal of license is possible for other districts here. Moreover, no need to buy tickets or do medical checkup outside. Simply, take appointment via mobile app and bring Cnic. Operations are on hold till 15th Jan 2021.

General System has improved; but the car (Suzuki Mehran) is outdated and double cluch and accelerator is confussing which is made just made to make failing ratio high. Simulator may be intruduced which is adopted in many countries.

Its way better than Islamabad police and motorway police.And guess what the free nescafe coffee is awsome.One window licensing operation is great.

Excellent service, went for lincense renewal ( checked from gate for original CNIC and lincense) directed to hall. Paperless work on Token based counter dealing with NO rush or hussle. Even desired eye/fitness inspection was done on site. Team is superb. My lincense was issued from fsd and I applied for renewal at rwp -- told that it will be delivered to my address InshaAllah. Best service facilities

Traffic staff are respectable and well trained. But they should take a serious action on the food and vegetable sellers selling on roads .example 22s no chungi. Kalmachok.tench batta road.due to this people there are a heavy traffic jam which takes an hour,hour to approach destination.Thanks,Regards.

I visted this office for renewal of licence such a coapporative staff. The process is very simple you only need CNIC copy for renewal. All working days full working time. You can also take appointment from their Bharosa name app or you go directly. 100 med fee, 750 renewal of motor car and bike fee and 130 for home delivery. Total 20 mint procces and you set to go.I am old liecence holder i know what is going their before one window op. Now they are operating with standerised way and style.Well done and keep it up city Traffic Police.

I am driving my own vehicle for last 20 years. They did not allowed me to do road test on my vehicle and insisted to drive test on their mehran side mirrors of the said were very low quality and failed lots of drivers just because of this. 2nd they intentionally do put rubber in zig zag not in line to make candidates failed.

Please dont take medical report with you, they conduct their own test for 100 Rs take 180 Rs as courier charges. You can take tickets from GPO Rawalpindi and then accordingly proceed to the race course station. It was a pleasant experience

I went there just to enquire about license renewal procedure and surprised to know that no documentation is needed. All they need is original license and NIC card. Eyesight was tested and renewal is done. Wow.... So thumbs up for the City Traffic Police Rawalpindi

Appreciate the improved professionalizam and organizational arrangements & controls. Today I visited the office to renew my license. From the entry gate, through the token Issuance counter, straight to the data entry and else, all shows a very positive attitude, extended guidance, patience, explaining steps, and else. They made me proud that my government offices and especially our police they improved upto a level to compete an international standards. Cheers for my subject institution staff and seniors and pray for your continual improvements. This is what we want to see our Pakistan. Very well organised, we used android application [Bharosa CTP] for renewal of driving license and it took hardly 30 minutes of complete all the process. Thanks to Rawalpindi CTP for supervising the development of this application and facilitating the public for timely response.

This place is pathetic. I am at awe that why this place even existis. Just make the system online. The timing is not followed ( went there at 8 and the file distribution booth opened at 10, there goes 2 hours of my life waiting in a looong line). I had to take a leave from my office to get my license renewd and after wastage of my whole day at this place, i need to come tomorrow again to complete the process. The staff is rude, no space to park my car, and most importantly THERE IS NO GUIDANCE TO THE PROCEDURE. Just go to this booth or that booth and after standing in line for a long time. You need to attach this thing to the form..... Please tell me before hand or make a single booth system.Final words this place is a wastage of space and time. You need to have all the information and loads of time on your hand to get anything done in this place.

Really i dont like the way they treat people last time there is one guy who took my driving test he passed everyone even the people who dont know how to drive car and when i try to drive i drive perfectly but he told me your fail when i asked to him why you passed that people he told me its my choice his name iz kiyani really i dont like his behavior you need to do equality i request to their managemnt ki dly took serious action about that guy his name is kiyani if you not believe just check one time

The staff are polite though.Steps for License Renewal (if lost) :Step 1: Get a computerized report of the list card from your local police station. Free of charge. Old license number needed.Step 2: Get blank file from Room 8a. Charge Rs 30.Step 3: Get tickets from Room 8b (next window). Charge Rs 750.Step 4: Get medical done by on site doctor. Charge Rs 100. Outside medical only accepted from BBH, DHQ & Police hospital.Step 5: Get your lost card computerized report verified from Room 17. No charge.Step 6: Get your completed file checked and submitted at Counter 4. No charge.Step 7: Get your data entry done when they call your name from Counter 5/6/7/8. Charge Rs 180. Get your computerized receipt and wait for the card to arrive at your mentioned address.

Must have original cnic with u. For leaner license get token from outside office booth. Bring Two cnic copies and get post tickets from room 8 on ground floor. Then go to room 4 on first floor and get ur learner licence. Took 1 hour for me.
