Economical, neat and clean. Best value for money

Been to many places for a quick stay on a round trip to Pindi, and I must say the VIP 1 can hold its own when it comes to the luxury it provides to its occupants. The room boasts exclusivity. A separate lounge with excellent decor, neat furniture with TV, books and magazines for a light reading before bed, spacious bedroom, closets and huge washroom. The accommodation is cosy, crisp and very comfortable, plus the courteous staff making sure you feel as much welcomed as possible. Thanks for the hospitality EME!

Generally the rooms are fairly well furnished but the room size (particularly the one with a small sitting room) is not at all comfortable or suitable for even a family with one child. But the worst thing about this mess is its management.The reception is poorly managed, where the staff does not bother to attend the phone and one has to go in person for any need. Once asked, they would reply that the phone is out of order.The attendants are not under any managerial control and work at their own whims/will and at their own convenience.If one has to complain on the issue, the next senior in administrative chain is not available.To make a simple within city official phone call you need to make the operator understand your requirement for no less than ten mins, who would all you silly and irrelevant questions. And then that number will neither be dialed nor the operator will get back to you.Overall, my experience was of utter inconvenience and had to leave the room in less than two hours time, with a firm resolve of never to opt for this setup.Opposite to it, just across the road, there is a yet another civilian managed mess but having much higher standards than this. There is a dire need for introspection by the uniformed hierarchy of the mess for positive reforms.
