Its definitely a good place. Shops are still open, many restaurants are still serving. I went to eat and came back with satisfaction. Suggest for late night

I went there for the first time. I felt it was a bit expensive 400 something for nihari, 200 something for Chana, 330 for nan, total bill was 930. People were friendly. Really quick service. The shop I went was Kala Khan for nihari and to the right of it there was Naan shop and the to the right of it there was Chana shop.

This was a great place to go for food, and also the quality of food available there.At the end it was a great experience.

A variety of food poits are there, a good market to visit and enjoy food in Rwalpindi. Variety of desi foods are available. I would recommend Hafiz Chnnay wala for breakfast, a tiny shop who offers chanay cooked using black pepper and its tandoori parathas.

Kartar Pura Food Street is great place to Dine-in, Take away and Delivery on phone calls. Most of the staff on all the shops is also ok and behave nicely. Most of the food shops dont provide dine in facility. Food shops providing dine in facility have dinning halls which are not very spacious even though good enough, they provide food especially for the Punjabi tastes. Their foods and dishes are spicy. We have tried many dishes including chicken and beef nihari, chicken and mince nans, Paye, chicken and mutton karahi from various shops and all were of great taste.Parking is a great issue at this place, as it is located in the heart of Rawalpindi. Very congested place and even hard to drive bike through this street on peek times. Best time to visit here is early in the morning for breakfast before 10O clock or late night at 10-11 pm for peaceful visit.Another issue that you may face is the hygiene in their serving pots and plates. We complained their managers and hope they would take good care of hygiene in their utensils, tables and kitchens as well.

Its amazing place for food lovers. Specially for the people who love traditional lahori food. There are couple of very famous places for Bhong paya, Nihari, and of course Lahori Channa. Though you need to be bit careful as not all of them are as good as they spouse to be. You can get food around the clock almost 24 hours. Which is good for late night eaters and early morning eater both.There is parking issue in the evenings and mid day time.

Just learned something really informative today from my favourite foodies about Nehari or Nahari.The word Nihari originates from the Arabic word Nahar which means morning. It was originally eaten by Nawabs in the Mughal Empire as a breakfast item after their morning prayers....Sorry i dont remember the name of that person who shared such amazing information about Nehari.
