Shahi daal was excellent, Lebanani Mutton was a treat if you like Mutton, and, yes, the tandoori paratha is good - not oily at all and just the right amount of crispy.

Nice place for a dinner, especially their daal is very good. I tried their fish fried that was also good. The fried fish is of Rs.1500.

The road side restaurant is located just outside Rawat town towards Lahore. This is the third branch of Mian Jee Punjab chain of restaurants, other two being in Hassan Abdal and Abbotabad. The style and menu is same as the other two, however, the quality of cooking is not as good as the other two restaurants. Sitting arrangents are simple but clean.Their Libnani Gosht, Batair Karahi, Shahi daal are worth a try though not as well made as in their Hassan Abdal branch. We had also ordered BBQ Mushka fish. The fish wasnt very fresh and was stinking a bit.This branch of Mian Jee Punjab is the most expansive of the three, so beware. At an average, it will cost you 600 - 900 per head, depending on the order. Enough parking space is available.

Mian jee hotel is good place for outing and desi food.There is good setup and service is good.But taste is not good just average. I have tried Shahi daal and. Chicken karahi. Shahi daal is good but chicken karahi is spicy and has very less taste.If i say you want to spent good time at gt road then it is good option. But jsut try daal or bar b q. Dont go for any karahi.

Which restaurant is a branch of original restaurant chain. parking and seating spaces ample they have a age kitchen outside that is open and customers can get their choice of meat cuts that is cooked in front of them. There is also a family rooman additional e if you choose you can sit in a verandah looking out at the road or inside a large hall. Food is capital of a roadside restaurant it is quite deliciousplease note that if you are large group you must order in advance as we have to wait for around 40 minutes for a group of 22 people.

As usual highly expensive but people are still going there.Clean place to sit and eat with family and friends.I like their Labonani mutton but still it can be improved.Parking, clean washroom, Praying area are well maintained

Visited today at Mian g punjab Hotel gt Road RAWAT , tried their specialty daal prepared in desi ghee with tandoori paratha, and found nothing extra ordinary. Quantity was very less as compared to rates. Rates are very high. And most disgusting this is their rude behaviour, waiters and management are so arrogant as they are not even bothering the customer. Look at their menu pic attached. It seems that menu is from any 5 star hotel.

Thats a great pit stop for the travellers after a hectic drive through congested traffic of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Neat and clean environment with very spacious parking lot for all type of rides. Separate arrangements for families. Grand halls to accommodate lot of people. Quick staff for the services. Decent variety of healthy food. The extraordinary facility is the adequate place for Wazoo and a large Masjid.

It had been famous for Good food BUT now post COVID 19 restrictions I found it hopeless.The Quality and taste of food has destroyed though number of items /variety have increased.Probably in order to recover their losses after COVID 19 restrictions, they have increased the price to double and have decreased the quantity of food served to half... Sort of 4 times increase in prices. While the taste of food has also dropped.Probably the Owner or the Staff has changed that has caused all this...!!!

Best of all, the staff is very efficient and friendly. One of the waiers even helped my daughter wear her sandles and on is own. I asked him to leave it she will manage but he insisted. My daughter is 2.5 yrs old. Ordered what they are suppose to be good at, the daal. It was very tasty. The paratha was excellent too. But no achaar. Anyways a good place to visit and eat desi food.
