I vised protector office today for my proctor stampe on my passport, it was a wonderful experience with a governmental office. The staff very helpful and professionally trained. It seemed everybody was there to help me. The whole process was completed within one hour. All the facilities were available in the same building. As I was proceeding abroad on skilled employment visa, I was specially treated by the officer in charge.I suggest all persons who want protector registration, feel convenient to get their work done. They are very helpful people.A good example to be followed by the other governmental departments.Stay blessed and keep helping the overseas Pakistani!

I had a wonderful experience at protectorate of emigrants. Needless to say that this office is way better than the previous office. Professional staff. They guided the whole process. I am really impressed by the professional behaviour of Syed Zain Ali at the desk counter. He answered all my queries patiently. Pakistan is heading in right direction.

At least finally I can say that some how Govt sector has improved and things are strengthing in line, still lot of improvement required, but comparing past, its awesome having very cooperative staff.

I needed protector for a six month training position abroad and came to the protector office around 10am. The process was very simple, very well explained to me by professionally trained staff. I also met Mr. Imran , who is very humble and down to earth. He was very kind and guided me throughout the process and told me the necessary information I required from him.Everyone I met was well trained, hard working , helpful and kind. They are even sorting your documents and filling forms for you which is very thoughtful of them.If you have all the documents (mentioned on their website and in comments somewhere), the procees is very easy. The fees are mentioned clearly everywhere. You can submit the fee in the bank in the same building which is very helpful. I came early and there werent many people so I got done early as well.I think this department is transformed under excellent leadership and I hope more departments will follow suit in the future.Great job by everyone !

Having good experience with Emigrants protector office Rawalpindi beside what I heard about..... To me they are much professional and process is much easier, no need waste of money on agents outside office. Process is so simple. No need of NICOP for protector. Team is so helpful and cooperative. Even they fill the documents and arrange your papers which is surely not their job but to ease the peoples they are doing. Great job by whole office team.

Best experience ever in a government department/office. The staff was busy in their work and was cooperative and efficient. They make your life easy (unlike WAPDA, SNGPL or any other department) and help you out in all steps of the process.All I would suggest is that this department needs to go green and no papers should be required to be attached with the applications. All data should be retrieved from NADRA record and only work visa to be scanned and added to your file.The staff should be compensated for their hard work by adding few hundred rupees in the 7200 fee and then additional 200 or 300 should be the share of the data entry officers.Keep the good work going and help people as that will make your life easy as well in sha Allah.

Visa and Contract Copy5. 7200 rupeesIt takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete the process. Then wait for passport to be stamped. Nice sitting area with AC facility.

Excellent office. A very professional internal layout and procedural system in place. Nice, cool and clean environment.As far as services provided, everything seems to be explained so clearly and the staff seemed very helpful.The only main bad point would be the local NBP bank that is used for fee deposits for the applications, the que is absolutely horrendous. Que ran through the branch in the doorway and almost a cross the street. With only one cashier usually dealing with protectorate deposits it was an appalling slow process

When i visited for Protactor stamp on passport the office was in old building & the building was too small as per requirement i faced too much difficulty for the Protactor stamp but now i think office is shifted in Nadra building near Rahman Abad maybe now they have planned & acquire a proper building according to people.

If you visa process with an agency then your work done on finger tip..agent meet you there..you only need to sign and print there this work took maximum 30 minutes..all other work under the duty of agent..if you dont have any agent its very difficult to complete all work easily....

Staff is very cooperative and helpful. Specially the guy welcoming at the gate and giving you instructions. No need to hire an agent. Procedure takes few hours if you have all the documents.Facility need improvement. People waiting hall should be air conditioned.

New building is way better and the system too is way then before, but their computers mostly have issues that takes hours to stars working again. Plus NBP is too far from there they should open a mini branch for sake of NDRA and protectorate related fee submission

The Protectorate of Emigrants, is situated near Rehmanabad metro station in Rawalpindi. The Protectorate stamp, required for all Pakistanis going abroad on Work/Employment Visa, is affixed on the passport after payment of dues in National Bank branch situated inside the same building, on the same day. The Director and the staff of the Protectorate office is extremely helpful and efficient. It is an exception in GOP. I got the Stamp in total three hours.

The whole process is meant to humiliate the the public. First you get in line and get your docs checked. This can only be done from 9 am to 10 am. Then you get in line to get your data and photo entered in the system. Then you get in line to pay for insurance. Then they make you wait 1 hour 30 mins and give passport back at 11:30 am. In the meantime you are supposed to go and pay fees at 3 different banks. Once you come back they make you wait for verifying the payment of fees and hand you back fees challans. Then they give you back all your docs which you are supposed to submit by waiting in another line. Even then they might find some issue and ask for more docs like in my case the guy passport copy was not clear. This was not told to me in the morning in first check at 9 am. Other people also faced similar issues. Then they tell you to come back at 4:30pm to collect passport. You have to wait a total of 5 times in lines. Its a whole day of waste. There are agents outside waiting for people. They charge 1000-2500 and provide no service other than submitting the bank fees. Under NO circumstances should you take these. I got hooked by a agent and I had to do everything myself other than paying the fees which in my opinion is not worth Rs. 1000-2500. When they ask you to wait till 11:30 after paying insurance you can easily go and make the payments in banks yourself. This is overall pathetic service. Govt office is old and ruined. The building needs restoration. The staff needs training on how to talk and help people. There should be one window operation. Once you get your turn you should not need to wait again and again and go to banks. Just submit your docs. Pay your fees at the same window and get your passport back at 4 pm.

Very lazy and unorganized staff. Not guiding applicants in one go.you need a whole day (8am to 6pm) to process protector.

Staff is helpful and amazing. is it is handy to take a pen with you.The whole process cost you 7200Rs and you should arrive to office arround 8-9Am.Overall staff is excellent i would say.

Be aware of outsider agents they will took more money for less task...do you documentation your self, get a form from office take passport copy visa copy photographs id card of father or mother for insurance purpose and submit your docs accordingly. you can done your job at 6 thousands only. overall office staff is good and supporting proud Pakistan :)
