The first time I went there, about a couple of months ago, the food was extraordinary. Ambiance was bad. Being desi doesnt mean you cant paint your walls and cant have comfortable furniture. They cook fresh so cant complain about serving time. It took about 40 minutes but the tasty food made up for it. I recommended it to someone but when they went there, they had a very bad experience. Food wasnt tasty, wasnt even cooked properly, and service was even slower. I went there again last week and had the same experience. They put useless pieces in the barbecue, karahi wasnt well cooked, it was cold and they had just one small electric heater for the room where 12 to 16 people were supposed to sit.They are simply overrated and overpriced. Desi doesnt mean dirty. It doesnt mean you cant heat the dining area, it doesnt mean you cant have a faster service. Just because Desi has become cool, such places have started overcharging without any value for money.

Food is super delicious and has a great environment. As I visited the Peshawar branch few time, I find its taste as good as its original branch. I have tasted their patta tikka, Karahi and barbecue and it was super delicious. If a person is fond of Namkeen recipes it is a place . And one thing to be added it has friendly staff, a family place and beautiful sitting area.

They have a big place in Saddar, well maintained. Enough parking area. Tikka was really good,bit exactly as compared to Peshawar one , but was very good. Rates are also reasonable and staff is cooperative.

A great place with a good taste and fairly nice ambience. One can have great time with family and dine out. The only thing worth noting that one if one wants to treat the taste buds with only chicken and lamb.

In taste not different from Namak Mandi. The price is much higher than Namak Mandi, Peshawar

Sitting arrangements are same as anyother cheap price restaurant.... but the prices of foods are much higher ... i dont recommend the place overall

Taste is good. Remind me of Nisa Charsi Tikka Peshawar. Its basically old trend, fashion and custom of pathans. Hospitality and care of pathans touch the emotions. Taste of different dishes are one of the basic famous food of old pathans style. Nisar Charsi is the icon of Peshawar people in Rawalpindi. This Nisar Charsy Tikka has the same style of serving and hospitality. This is located in the heart of Rawalpindi. I asked the main manager, he is the nephew of Nisar who is the owner of original Nisar Charsy Tikka Peshawar. They dont offer anything except traditional food of Nisar Charsy Tikka Peshawar.

Neat lamb meat lovers paradise. Raw but tasty. Dont expect nicesities of a proper resturant here but it is good for what it is and that is lamb meat.

Apart from its old school decor n interior, nothing positive can be said about its delicacies.. taste is not the same as original Nisars Charsi Tikka shop at Namak Mandi in Peshawar. Our recent visit was spoiled by heavy dosage of salt in tikkas.. only saving grace was its Haandy goosht..n be prepared for at-least an hour wait on ur order..

The sitting area is good, specially in summer seaaon. And the quality of meat and cooking is awesome.

Nice Food Place

Worst experience ever, we were starving and the food came after an hour which was not properly cooked and the lamb pieces were too tough to eat.Our mode was spoiled and we were still starving after this meal. Totally worst and pathetic experience.After complaining the staff was not admitting their mistake and behaving with the rude behaviour.

They serve best Bar BQ n other meat dishes as tasty as in Peshawar. Very tasty food n roti. For sitting they have traditional interior.

For charsi tikka / pakhtoon style meat lovers. Provides Clean, hygienic and apparantly healthy chicken, mutton and lamb. Cooking is great, ambiance match with restaurant name. A bit pricey but provide value for money. Do enjoy qahwa after the feast.

The location of Nisar Charsi Tikka is nice I visit there with my 2 cousins, sitting area was nice you have potions service was ok we order traditional charsi lamb karahi and brown karahi and then we start the endless wait, it takes almost 50 minutes but food was ok I have no complains about it, but 50 minutes way to much for this order it should be improve.

The reason for 3 stars is that Ive only visited this restaurant once and its basically all about Karahi. I liked their karahi, which had a very unique flavor, but if you are looking for a place with a little more cleanliness and ambience, Id suggest you go elsewhere.

I visited this place with two of my friends. We ordered Charsi Karahi. Awaited for a long time, when it came and we started eating, everybody stared. What a bad experience I can never describe how we finished our meal. Its just a name.
