One of the best Chinese restaurant in Islamabad. Service is best. SOPs followed during corona time. Dine in allowed. Heaters in open air. Must visit.
The food is good, the ambiance is good. The waiters are missing. You need to tell a waiter to bring you something but theres no waiter in sight.
An absolutely great area to have good oriental food along with having a proper experience of a café. Would definitely recommend
So this is first time i had ginyaki food. We ordered it from food panda. Good food. Not out of this world but pretty good. We had economy bowl. Which was enough for me. I would recommend it. I am big fan of tom yum soup. I had it at almost 20 places in europe. Will try that soon from this place and then will review.
Went once. Was an amazing experience. The group of friends I was with liked it too.
I went their had their chop suey bowl and i loved the taste.Service was good.VFM = 9/10
A good place for munching and have great Chinese food. Tried Chicken Corn Soup and Chicken Cachew Nut with Vegetable Fried Rice. Reasonable price and good ambience. Loved the experience.
Top place for chinese food with awesome service!the staff is always kind and accommodating. crispy beef and apple salsa fish is the winner everytime!
Always a number one for me...the whole menu is divine...crispy beef chilli is the Winner though...best combo of rice and savoury noodles
Their standard has fallen drastically in past few months. I m rating after three time visiting. It used to be the best in town but now they are deceiving people.Bad
Loved it. Went around 1830. It was nice and quiet. Ordered 3x economy bowl( 2beef 1 chciken), soup, wonton, dynamite shrimp. Taste was amazing. Portion was very good. Service was ok. Looks like the waiters were fairly new. Could have sold the desert or recommend any dish but he didnt. Few annoying flies around even though they were trying to control and kill them. Overall it was amazing.
Staff was helpful ar new years eve at around 11.45. tbey accomodated us as much as tbey could. Ambiance was quite good. 4 stars because taste has always been average.
Such amazing and elegant place. Excellent food and great service
Worst Soups Ever Tasted. Ordered different soups like chicken corn, Ginyaki Special soup, Thai soups and Eight wonder soup. All of them were so tasteless except eight wonder being slightly better to be drinkable. Waste of money. Highly not recommended.
By profession am an engineer but by passion am a chef and running my own homemade food. Today it was my first experience with Ginyaki. Mind-blowing taste. each and every thing was amazing. Quantity according to the quality was enough. The most important thing is that i still can feel the taste of food after an hour. Really no comparison of you guys in the town.️️️️️️
Its a very organized oriental restaurant with a variety of food to serve ur appetite and very comfortable ambience..a must go with family but u need prior reservation
Good food, but the food quantity was less than what was dished last time for reasons unknown
Good food with larger than average portion size. Staff needs to be slightly more attentive and mindful of covid SOPs.
The food was average atmosphere out side is good but the service is very poor
Amazing food great service and outdoor seating area and following SOPS as well
The food is good. Been there three times with family and friends now! I have a strong inclination towards the beef chilli dry, the rest of the menu isnt so bad either.
Their service has been the worst as compared to any restaurant Ive been in my life. They gave me food after an Hour. Then i ordered another thing and had to wait for another half an hour until i left. Theyll test your patience. The waiters arent greeting at all. Theyre like robots, they hardly show interest in listing to you. The food tasted good tho surprisingly.
Ordered the beef chilli dry and mangolian beef. While the food was just okay, the staff was very disappointing in terms of recommendation and kept looking at the road instead of us while talking. Wierd!
Two out of the five things we ordered tasted good. The sweet and sour chicken tasted as if the only thing added to it was the sweet part. The dumplings were probably nothing more than spring rolls without the veggies. Overall Id say nothing more than 3 star.
Floor manager Iftikhar is highly unprofessional. Doesnt accommodate customer. We asked for a better seating twice because my father was sweating in the corner area (hes a heart patient) but he refused even though there was space available. He said the spaces were reserved. We are regular customers of Ginyaki and we know they dont take reservations. We left after ordering and waiting for 30 mins. None of the staff felt sorry or even tried to stopped us. Poor service. Boycotting Ginyaki after this experience.
Ginyaki is an excellent restaurant with an excellent staff and a superb team in the kitchen sending out outstanding dishes. My only complain is that they should change the vendor of their beef or change the cut they use, it was too chewy , tender but too chewy
Used to be very good. Losing the quality very fast. Spring rolls are poor now, rice and noodle quality is not the same. Rating from 5 to 2 now.
The menu was complicated. The food was alright but service was bad. We got a table on first floor because the ground floor was full and we confirmed if there were pedestal fans available. There were only 3 fans for 9 to 10 tables. Asked waiters to place the fans properly multiple times so that everyone can get the required amount of air to beat the heat but it wasnt possible for them. So more fans needed on first floor.
Ginyaki is one of the most genuine and authentic Chinese restaurants in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. If youre a true Chinese food lover and cant compromise on its quality, Ginyaki is one of the place you can trust. The place is a good ambience..
Good food..choice of meat is available. Quick service and quiet satisfactory
If you wanna eat some good chinese or Korean dishes then this is the place. You gotta try their Korean Spicy Chicken and chopsuey bowls
Used to be good, the food was cold. The manager not available. Have enjoyed good service and food here, but they were off their game. Need serious supervision.
Worst soup ever ! They said, there would be shrimps. There was sour joke in it. No, chicken, no shrimps and the taste could have never been worse. Highly dissapointted.
Went there for the first time, I thought Chinese restaurant would be best at Makin soup but was wrong, but man their bowl was mind blowing especially the beef and chicken one. They had used some really good sauce while Makin it.
Excellent tase with speedy service. I would surely recommend it for casual dinners
The setting ambience but mostly important ie the food is pretty good and pretty decently priced! Enjoy the hustle bustle and the unique scenery
One of the best chinese restaurant in rwp/isb
Great taste good quality food. All combos are awesome. Sitting capacity limited.
We visited there with family and i ordered kung pao with chow mein. It was really good and rich in taste. But my mum had sweet and sour chicken with rice, where the rice were not fresh. It was like rice were recooked or microwave, because those werent soft, but had a hard texture. Although they took 30 min to bring us the order but it wasnt up to the mark like its usually is. We went there on Sunday oct 25th.
Taste is still great but portion size is getting smaller and smaller every month. INFLATION? probably.
If you comapre Ginyaki Bahira Town with F-7, there is hell of difference in food quality.I have visited twice in recent times and found quality of food going down.Yesterday i order Lemon Fish which when served was EXPIRED and i did checked it from serving guy and he said it is bcz of the sauces used. ( Whereas i am only smelling inner fish piece without topping).Rice & Chow mein (Main Item) were dry and and not warmed enough.Even the order replace d with Fish lemon was of different taste.Lastly Fresh lemon was more of cold water with feeler of Kala-Namak..water to drink ratio was like 10:3Serving staff was well mannered, surrounding and Washroom was neat and clean...Note: i have no personal or any other agenda in discouraging anyone business but i feel owner should have a more micro management with kitchen staff.may be people have diff opinion and experience..... May be it was a bad day and i experienced it...On positive note, a lot improvement required in in food quality.
So i had the chinese food. The food was delicious and tasty but amount was quite less. Envoirnment was good but i think it was too bright. Not a good place to go with kids. But you would enjoy the food there
Full marks for the quality and price of the food.
Very full on a sunday night, food was delicious. Can recommend the crispy honey chicken with veg chow mein will visit again
I dont understand how can people just blindly follow the trend. I went to Ginyaki today because so many people around me recommend it. First of all never once in my life I ate so oily fish and chips I mean, I could not even finish the half plate and i am not choosy at all secondly their poor management made us wait for more then 20 minutes just to get the bill I mean seriously you guys wanted us to leave without paying you?I had so much expectation from this place since its always crowded but i am highly dissapointed with both food and management.
Best place best ambience good quality and healthy food, excellent taste. Love this place
Hands down. Beats and outclasses all Chinese restaurants in taste and that too at fairly reasonable price tags. They have a bowl combo as per your choice. You can select Rice, Chowmin or Rice+ chowmin. And then you can order variety of Chinese gravy. Love their taste.
The soup was really smelly. Orders Thai soup and Corn. There was only chilli in Thai and corn soup was full of smell.Asked to return the corn.
This was a bad experience for myself and my cousin. We are regulars at the jinyaki isb location and this location is sub-par and substandard compared to that location. We ordered exactly the same dishes we always do at that location. Dumplings and combo bowl. The first time we ordered the dumplings the dough was raw and the sauce was burnt instead of caramelized so we sent it back. In the meantime our combo bowl came back and we decided to just eat that and pack up the dumplings for bhabi at home. The bowl was barely adequate. The chicken batter was undercooked and that made the whole bowl feel stale, which matched the rice perfectly. Even the spicy crispy beef was just that slight bit off. The best part was when we got home and gave bhabi her dumplings, they were still horribly undercooked! For the same price it definitely was not the same experience.
The manager insisted me to take an unknown brand of water more than the price of any brand. They should work on selecting products they offer to customer.
Noisy place congested sitting space not recommended if youre looking for a fine dining experience... even the tables are small as if they are designed for midgits
The bowls were good with large portions but the pan fried dumplings were beyond disappointing, the portion and the tasteThe mint margarita had so much salt, honestly tasted like lemon soda with pink saltAlso beware of the no.of chillis on the menu which show the spice levelComing from someone who can tolerate spicy food the korean one was wayyyy too spicy cause I underestimated the spice but oh well
Everything was good but place was crowded taste was not exceptional but not bad over all good experience
So Visited Ginyaki Bahria Town with two super Amazing Chefs who actually developed my flavours. Yes my Amma and Khala. We orderedGinyaki Special Soup French fries️️ Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice️️ Crispy beef with combo of chowmein & riceEvery single thing was excellent, my khala loved their special soup and ranked it better than Asian Wok Special. french fries achay thay, bs unkay sath aik achi c dip hoti to haseen o jameel mamlat ho jatay.️️ Both the bowls were amazing, crispy beef ki to kia hi baat hai. It was solid 9/10’for me. I loved how good the quality of meat was.️️Kung Pao chicken had all the ingredients to make it a perfect dish. But since I amA beef lover so I will stick to crispy Beef.Note: this branch is small and has limited seating capacity, but i loved it. So on weekends it might get very busy, prior reservation is recommendedFinal Verdict : Definitely recommended#meinbohatkhatahoonFor more follow @goeathammad on instagram
Food was good. Didnt have any good options in beef. Service was good. Serving was fine
- Clean. Plus the staff wore masks, gloves and ppe suits- Cheap- Quick service- Decent food for the price
Value for money. Although I believe Ginyaki standard isnt the same as it was when it opened up in Islamabad.
There was slight wait but that was understandable. Then, the staff was wearing completely covered and wearing masks. All seating areas and tables were disinfecting as customers left. Finally the part about food.It was really good, we tried egg fried rice, cashew nut chicken, and crispy beef chilli dry.Crispy Beef chilli dry was the best (extremely spicy for people averse to spices). The only not so nice thing was that the soup was served after main course (the 6aoup, hot n sour, was also very good.
Best Chinese restaurantTried dragon chicken and tung Pao chicken with rice ,very yummy, fresh and tasty. Portion size was good. Soup special was also good .
The food is okayish in taste. I found Cafe Jade by China Town more flavourful than Ginyaki. I would go for 3 stars.
I have been there for maintenance work. They keep their cooking and working area very clean. Really appreciate their team and work.
Food was good as usual........but the staff wasnt very actice .......not happy with the service
Their taste and quality is below average now. They really need to bring back their quality and taste
Highly recommended for Chinese eatry. Recommended bowl is dragon chicken and crispy beef with fried rice or chowmein. Only suggestion for them is try to balance portion of curry with rice as their portion of curry is less.
Just select anything random from the menu, it will be good :)
Worst customer service ever. They treat customers as if they are a burden on them. The food isn’t worth the terrible behavior especially the Bahria Town branch.
I just went to this Bahria Town branch of Ginyaki and today it was their second birthday so they were offering 40% off on selected menu. Uploading the pictures of food I tried here. 1) Thai Basil Prawns with Chowmein 2) Crispy Honey Chicken 3)Mint Margaritta
Glad they were following covid SOPs. Food and ambiance good as always.
It was a good experiance. The Ginyaki is a place where everyone can enjoy.
Worst chinese I had in my life, dragon chicken tasted like garlic paste and prawns smelled like ginger paste, lemonade had serving with mosquito in it, chowmin had a cooked mosquito, still they had the audacity to charge for the food never ever going there again
Great ambience & service and awesome food
Good food. Good service. Good etron
One of the best Chinese restaurants in economical price.. Food quality is too good. Staff cooperative and serving time is quicker as compared to others..
They have a good variety of chinese.
Really good food, restaurant was a bit crowded so had to wait for 10-15 minutes to get a table
Good chinese food with new style
Taste of food is good & service is excellent.
Its a good experience..taste and food quantity is great.thumbs up
Different n v good tase, hot, spicy n aromatic
Tooo much slow service but gud
Excellent chinese food in all over isb
The best restaurant in Islamabad. It has become my go to place with their unique taste and amazing service.
I will never go to this restaurant again The food here tastes awful...The food here is not Thai food Chinese food Korean food
Good place with good food
Loved the food. Nice ambiance. Just a little loud.
Food is good, ambiance is good, staff is also great but quantity is less for the price.
Ginyaki is my go to place for oriental because they never fail to thoroughly please my cravings !
Good quality and good quantity for a good price.
Waste of money. Not worth it
Their standard and taste of food has deterioted..
Disappointed! Dont expect the f-7 quality or taste here. We ordered the dynamite prawns, crispy beef chilli dry, korean chicken something. Prawns were undercooked, beef chilli had a very peculiar kind of horrible taste. And korean chicken was bland, it was supposed to be very very spicy. Disappointed!!
Great service, delicious food and above all is quite reasonable
