Once upon a time it was the only good sweet shop in the city. They didnt have any competitors. They made huge profits and expanded their business from one small single shop to almost six shops in the city covering all corners of the city. Generally people like their sweets. They are of good taste. But this expansion and popularity made them rude and over confident. They have started bottling mineral water and are that overconfident that rhey only sell their company made water ignoring all other natiional and international brands. It has caused great loss to their water business. increase the price whenever they want. Treats their customers rudely. Dont listen to their complaints. Refuse any discount. But with the launch of Cafe Sajawal they are suffering great loss in their overall sales. Cafe Sajawal has attracted a great chunk of customers due to better behaviour and service. They also violated Food Authority instructions and SOPS and they sealed their shop. They also sell substandard, month before made sweets on Eid. Another dishonesty they do is they weigh box/ tin pack along with the sweets. It means about 80/ 100 grams box/ tin pack is also sold at the rate of about 600 rupees per kg in case of badm barfi and sohan halva. Its not fair. Its dishonesty. One way they give charity and other way they sell card board and tin pack at the price of expensive sweets. They also use overheated oil for making samosas and pooris. They also wrap pooris in news papers. They Food Authority must address these issues because they are related to public health. The owners must improve things mentioned above in order to stay in the competition. May God show us the right path.
