In autumn this hotel feels like heaven! Sunsets are beautiful here! Old british style architecture, I loved it, simple way to check in, having good experience here, but saying it again its old style hotel! Do not expect luxury rooms etc, shared some images of my room, I loved it as it gives a home like desi feel, not many people will, but it depends on their taste.
Nice place, bit old but comfortable and good value for money.
Well it was deserted toilet seats were broken no hot water at all place was dirty and they are charging to much money for room per nite but they are not maintaing the property at alll the owner should look after it properly ....
No maintenance at all, the property look like desert now, whereas; it was place where people love to stay, not by Pakistani but foreigners preference. The managment apperes to Benoit interested to improve the rooms, bathrooms, the tiles are broken and sanitary material Als ok be shabby. After seeming all this decided not to stay there.
Very old hotel not very well maintained all stuff placed is very old, and very expensive as compare to other local hotels in Quetta like salsabilla or qasr e gul
It is the safest and best place to stay in Quetta. Wonderful lawns, spacious and clean rooms and very cooperative and polite staff. Hot water round the clock, heated rooms. The room service and kitchen staff are great. Want to know anything about quetta? Ask for Mr. Dar. He knows the area very well and a very good person for a good conversation. Loved every minute of my stay there. I stayed there with family. It is a perfect and safe place for family. Will definitely stay there again whenever I visit Quetta.
Too much expensive 5000 for single , old fashioned non furnished rooms
Because this hotel is so old building, the management is so weak, and the food, lunchz breakfast is not good, and the rent is per room single bed 8000,
It’s a cool and calm place near city center. The building is old British Colonial Architecture. Rooms are spacious but old styled. They kept the colonial style. There are 4 lawns in front of the building where you can enjoy coffee. Staff is courteous and cooperative. Room rates are fixed.
It is kind of deserted . Not suitable for families especially
It used to be a good place to live once upon a time
Located on a very safe location and the hotel is of British Colonial time.
Location is top of the list but building needs upgradation...
One shall stay here for the sake of nostalgia only. The rooms are clean but not very comfortable, bath rooms are clean too but very old and still functional. Rooms invoke a sense of 70s and early 80s and what was considered luxury back then, I certainly enjoyed being transported to another era and the frailty. The hotel is situated right next to a secure zone and you have to explain where you are going each time you have to enter the premises of the hotel. Staff is cooperative but the management is extremely bossy and rude. Food is cheap if one wants to order room service. A couple of malls are situated within a few hundred meters with major Pakistani and international brands and eateries like McDonalds,Pizza Hut, OPTP etc. Major Banks and government offices are also close by. Rates per night are a little on the higher side given the amenities but as Quetta still has to catch up with likes of socially mobile but budget conscious travellers. I would recommend this place if you are not use to upscaled and or are willing to adventure.
Decent place but need some renovation
Located on a very safe site. Please dont take room 3. Else you will have compnay of mouses in night time.
This place charge a lot but no services
It was a fair place for stay. I stayed for two nights. The water was hot, They gave us extra mattress.
Good neat & clean hotel.
Hotel furniture &atmosphere smells really bad. Very expensive with bad service
Hotel location is good but the building is very old and needs renovation and maintenance work.
Only hotel in Cantt, old and rich heritage kind building
Service ia good, hotel building is quite old.
Geser was not working on 2nd day of my stay. Cable TV do not work in morning hours. Reception incharge behaviour was very rude on a petty issue. Truly dissatisfied!
Splendid place to stay!
Old British styles capacious rooms. A little old but gets the job done. Recommended for a casual stay
Too expansive rooms are not well enough
Well Garden inside the hotel
A serene and peaceful environment at Lourdes Hotel, Quetta. Love this place of my longlasting memories from 2005 to 2008
The only plus point of this hotel is that it is located in Cantt and secure. Services pathetic, rooms are old fashion and need improvement. TVs are old models and their remotes are not working. if you ask for tissue they will give 2-3 piece of tissue papers. smells are coming from the washrooms. Need 100% renovation and service improvement. If I pay Rs 5000/ night, then its my right to receive all the good services which we can enjoy in big cities by paying such amount.
Good option available at Quetta but old and poor rooms
A historical place depicting British era, peaceful and calm, very caring staff. Rooms need to be more clean though.
Great place to view and stay at.
Its a safe place just beside the Quetta cantt gate, environment is comfortable & peaceful, services are average, interior is too old and overall they are charging more then they deserve, people prefer this place due to security reasons in quetta otherwise their rates do not match with their services.
Very old style.. & not maintain properly
Location is good but service is very poor.
Attractive building... beautiful lawns....peaceful environment
Nice place. Built old style with wooden upholstery. Could really use the expertise of a professional hotelier though. Needs to improve their customer services. The grounds are beautiful and the serving portions are enormous. Dont order too much food unless you can fill yourself to the brim.
Economical Hotel but cant be recommended to spend pleasure time there.
Not a good place for hotling
Good place to stay.
Its an old hotel.if u r looking for a safe place to stay in quetta then its ok
Old hotel. Service not good. Washrooms and furniture in bad condition. But safe due to cantt.
Good old fashioned hotel dated back to British rule. Service is good.
Very old.
Ridiculous staff behaviour, with smell in double room,
Fresh and Delicious Pizzas ready every time
Good place to stay
A british era building never maintained.
One of the fraudia hotel in quetta dont stay here ..
Its a nice place to live its a old British hotel
A very good motel at a very good location at quetta cantt. Area with very nice views.
This is situated in very calm and secure area.Being a military cantonment some extra checks are in place. Hotel structure and lawns are very peaceful and allowing for focusing, and concentration needing tasks. Worse side is, rooms are not maintained and services are of poor quality
Nice lawns... cool n peaceful atmosphere!
Worst ever place to stay. Just location is a plus point else its a night mare.
The view of lourdes hotal is very excited but the room condition is very poor
Old structure with poor management
One of the best place to stay in QUETTA. With a three beautiful grassy lawn surrounded by lots of flowers. Best for family stay
Nice place to stay
It is a shame that such a beautiful place is run like this. The hotel has such potential which is all wasted.
Below average stay. No proper parking space. No proper meeting halls. Compromised food, tea and poor temperature control. Poor hospitality.
If you want a place where you dont get entry without Army Checkpoints, where you want to get a feeling like living in 1950s, where internet connection is hardly guaranteed and where condition of rooms and even garden is like a ghost house then this is the right place for you. Enjoy your stay and forget to complain.
Rather run down and giving up the ghost. Gardens still a delight. No facilities and little else to recommend it
A place to stay in but expensive
Average Hotel. Location is nice and secure, within the Cantt primises. But Service is ordinary. Wifi is bad. Tea is very ordinary. And building is old, needs rennovation.
Old magnificent building just need few upgrades
Noce pleasant environment.
Secure and safe.... clean and tidy. .. just a bit expensive
A reasonable place to stay with cantonment security.
Good, family hotel. Safe. Near cantonment area
Average hotel but highly secured with quite environment
The worst hotel with the most disrespectful ideot management.... i bet u there is no hotel on earth thats can go challenge its bad worst and stupid management. Soooooo bad attitude ..... BAD BAD BAD
Service is not upto mark...
Has seen better days
Nice and clean place to live in.
Bad experience, room walls were chalked dirty and food is available in specified time only. Dec-2017
Lack of facilities
Ok place with good garden. Rooms are ok given the rates but the most important thing is that this place is safe and secure!
Rooms are not good but service is awesome..
Secure place but rooms & furniture are old.
Bad place to live there
Need to upgrade facilities. However the environment is nice
Very calm peaceful romantic place
In a peacful area ... svcs are upto the standards
Very good location
Good hotel with Good service at a reasonable price.
Gardenia is a better hotel than this
Good atmosphare.
Old fashioned. silence. needs to renovate.
Its lawn of grass is best in Quetta
Safe and Secure place
The four stars dont mean that its close to an ideal place to stay.. But given quetta standards, id say its above par. Although the rooms are pretty much outdated and old fashioned, theres a fine-looking garden which makes up for that
Yaar 3 years before the hotel was very good and it was 3 stars but now the hotel became very dull and the workers are very less and they didnt renovate the hotel from that time bcz the owner owner is not concentrating on this hotel
I have visited Quetta in 2017 and stayed at this place for two weeks. I opted this place due to security and safety. It is located in Quetta Cantt in between Two Check posts. The nearest check post is called Chine Check Post. A very capacious hotel having lots of greenery and flowers depending on season. Hotel is very old fashioned and built quality seems to be deteriorated due to lack of maintenance and visitors priority towards Sarena. ATM facility is available beside the Main Gate of Hotel and a Chinese Restaurant at a walk to two minutes. Places for food for Rosh and Sajji is at a distance of 6-7 kilometers at queens road. Al-Naseeb Dry Fruits one of the oldest and largest shop for dry fruits is at distance of 1 kilometer. You can also try khaddi kabab (Rosted Bakra) while your visit to Quetta.
