Dual standard for civilians and armed forces. No facilities at all but they charge fees in terms of entery and parking.They must facilitate the visitors and the fees should be waived as people of Balochistan are already poor and deprived.

Hanna Lake is a beautiful picnic point for the people of Quetta & surrounding areas. Located approximately 20KMs from the main city, it is one of the oldest attraction points for the tourists. The place is generally clean & there are one of two cafes that sell biscuits, tea & cold drinks. There is a rest house for the families & parking spot. The level of water changes with the season & it generally contains sufficient amount of water for boating.

Once it was a very good place for picnic particularly for families but now its just ok for boys. Families should avoid it for picnic...

Hanna Lake was built by the British in 1894 with the objective of maintaining the water table, to recharge the Karezes (an ancient irrigation system), surrounding springs and to provide water for agricultural purposes. At that time, there was no concept of tube wells and wells were being dug in and around Quetta to pump water for drinking and agricultural purposes.

A cool, calm, green scenic place...must visit place

Hanna lake is like a jewel in Quetta city. Seeing it full of water is really heartening. A very good picnic spot for the families. However Govt needs to improve this facility to make it an ideal tourist spot on the lines of Lake view park, Islamabad.

Its a nice place but it should not be divided like Palestine and Israel. I mean normal people dont have any safety measures and for military families have every updated things. A nice place but government is doing nothing for betterment of this place. Food is average here. And people working in here have zero decency. I hope that things go better

Its so lovely place for tourists...But unfortunately day by day its declining rapidlyy, Plastic bottles are being openly thrown in areas & in Lake,In past it had a great value, since last year it was changed into arid, But now Water is being seen here, which is not enough to fill pasts gap.

Park where family can go and enjoy lake. However, lake has dried up completely now and people have thrown garbage on the dried bed.

Govt poorly maintaned

Fail to understand why people would come here. The water evaporates in the summer and the stench of dead fish is unbearable. The hut in the middle is in dire need of renovation, with people only coming there to write their phone numbers on the walls. There really isnt any proper upscale restaurant nearby and the childrens rides along the lake are poor quality and boring.

Was a beautiful tear drop shaped lake, but has dried up in the last few years. Sadly so

I visit hannak lake first time in 1998 when the hanna lake full of water with cool wind .but in last visit i found only crack there..what happening there where water gone..its shocking for that a beautiful lake we lost. I pray to Allah that gave back this beautiful hanna lake to the people of quetta..ameen
