Location and sight scene was good but it was deserted.
This is a very good point to see when you come to quetta it is just 20 km form quetta city. but on Google map you should write the location of Nawakilli road and when you get there then change your location to Hanna lake. Because when you write the location of hanna lake from the city it will take you between the army place and they will not let you go and tell the way which i have told you. And on the right side there is Urak valley. So if you visiting quetta i recommend visit both places.
Love the place
For you all the hanna lake isnt dried
Nice place to visit.
Best
Good picnic point . I love to visit hanna lake again .
A place worthy to visit if you are in Quetta.

Water level has gone too low. Nothing much to expect from the lake. Its just the journey and cold breez to enjoy at this place. Little attraction for the kids with some rides, slides and dodging cars.
A land mark visiting place of Quetta now its open for tourist need a comprehensive cleaning of the lake after 6 month of closuer
Great natural place for outing
Best place to full nature and enjoy either woth family or with friends
Average
Its located in Urak.I recommend you not to expect much from Hannah lake because a national park is made there and no proper system of making this lake elegant and clean has been arranged.
Its nice place for outing and picnic with family and friends, there some nice points for tracking and Hiking
Love it
It was too short and dirty.
Go to there in winter
Nice place to visit
Nice picnic point
It was a beautiful experience visiting Hana Lake. Colors of fall were amazingly beautiful. Water was clear. One should visit Hana lake at least for once. Not far from Quetta city.
Attractive place to visit, you can enjoy snowfalls in December and January
Dirt, wast and plastic bags everywhere, even lake water wasnt clean. Washrooms were locked and locks were rusted means closed since decades. Overall OK.
Nice place for picnic and fun along with friends and family
Very cold area
Boating ala
Incredible and mind blowing place but if we care
For peknik
W.r.t. Quetta its ok place but If I compare it with lets say Rawal lake or Khanpur it just a pond ... 40 Rupees is entry fee and 30 for parking (total 70) which is shameful given that there is nothing much to see and plenty of garbage around the lake with no garbage bin (donno why blame tourist for this) ... I wouldnt recommend going there, except, you are already in Quetta and 1-2 hrs free
Quetta is full of natural beauties, this lake is one of it
Hanajheel lake ,Quetta

Hannah Lake is regarded as one of the beautiful places of the Quetta, where natural springs and boats operate.
Good to visit this lake specially with family and kids, enjoyed alot on boating
Lovely place
Nice visiting point in quetta
The lake is mostly dry. Very little water. Talk along necessary food items along with you especially water. Avoid litter in the area. Try to visit when weather is good. Must get a photograph with iconic Hanna Lake in the background.
The Hannah Jheel, Quetta – This is how the Hannah Lake looks in winters, frozen, frosted and astounding. This is where people from all over Pakistan go first when they visit Quetta. Only about 18km away from the city, the Hannah Lake serves as the perfect escape for the locals.
This year, the region has received plenty of rain, refilling the Hanna lake and attracting a large number of nearby residents and local tourists. People also took boat rides around the lake to enjoy the pleasant weather.
Nice place for outing, boating play land for kids
Hanna Lake only tourist but located close to the Urak Valley. Historical bridge stone wall between two mountains used to store the water in the reservoir. Lake is now all dried up have no water no life.

It also features a restaurant that is covered with the pine trees. From May to September is the best time to visit Hanna Lake.

There is also a water channel which was constructed at the same time by the British to convert the snow and rain water near Spin Kaarez, coming from Murdar Mount, as surplus for filling the water in this lake. The channel was destroyed by a heavy flood in 1976 and has still not been re-constructed. The loss of the snow and rain water was wasted causing Hanna Lake to fully dry up between 1999 and January 2005. The government of Balochistan did nothing for the restoration of water level at Hanna lake but the Hanna Lake Development Authority (HLDA) the custodians of Hanna Lake and HDWSA officials had full efforts for the restoration of arrival of water through the surplus canal to Hanna Lake.Copied

One of the best place to visit in quetta, i was there with my friends and after snow fall and so much cold here, the lake was freezed, in simple words, lake was looking like a green diamond or in simple words it was reflecting how beautiful is the nature. I am uploading images, how it looks like in winter. must visit place. Place for family. Resturant on bank. snow in winter. covered with mountians.
Its look surrounding with mountains. The Hanna Lake along with reservoir was constructed in the era of the British Empire in 1894.It is a starting place of Urak Valley. The water supply of lake gives aqua mirror image inside naked brownish environment. Hanna Lake with fast of sauceboats and wheel boats are easily hired by visitors to circulate the unique island situated in the middle of Hanna Lake. Hanna Lake is exceedingly irresistible topographic point. There’s no more superb place to travel other than Hanna Lake. Visiting Quetta without having a tour to Hanna Lake is useless.
