This is one of the main gates which are built recently but they have a long history back. This gate gave the entrance to thousands of people who used to come and sit here in qissa khwani and drink traditional peshori qahwa with a story before the independence of Pakistan. Now this place is known as the hub of Chitrali caps, Peshawari chappal and as well as many other historical places. Many incidents happened here especially Qissa khwani massacre and a few bomb blasts especially the one almost 5 years ago in which lives of almost 50 people lost.

Very historical area. Colonial era architecture still there till this day. Bit of a trip back into time. Makes me wonder what it was like all them years ago when the British were here. Worth going into and checking out. Definitely vibrant and you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to buying a gift for a loved 1 back home.
