Old market at Peshawar university, it was known as Sharamsar market but now Madina market, it has good food to offer, laudary and tailoring services etc are offered here.

Everything about this place is good except the liitle children wandering there and begging, everytime i see them i feel so bad and i hope they stop doing so.Okey! So the faisals chicken chowmen has no match in the whole town. The baker there bakes real good. And the dry cleaner is a good person.The busy uni enviroment and the warm, tired, relaxed and free feeling we had there is precious.

Madina Market situated behind Hostel # 2 and in front of IMS department of Economics university of Peshawar is catering for students requirement of laundry, stationery, barber shop, canteen, photographs and photo state shop. Madina Masjid situated here is a famous Masjid.

Madina market have shops of printing, composing and some food shops offering samosa chai parata briyani bakery and lobia for students.

It is the hub of food items , stationery and different shops . It has a laundry service as well . It is a perfect place for students.

Yup ziyaqa taste is fabulous. Deesi mutton karahi..white mutton, badami chicken and others are recommended to taste.. mutton rosh is good.. if u feel like eat typical pakhtoon culture dishes especially tribal ones,knock at ziyaqa restaurant door.

Once this place was like nothing here existed. Then came choley n Lobia wala, everyone love to eat UET k choley... then came Chana chat wala, then samoosa chat, student karahi and fabulous tea, and photocopy shops, stationary and book binding shop... now its two little blocks of hustle & bustle where you can find students from all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan, Sindh, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Punjab, whole Pakistan and from other countries too.Those who studied in Peshawar University, they love to come back here and enjoy their time.

It is a place where students and other people 8n University campus buy grocery and other things. The mini restaurants here are nice and cheap.

Its main market between departments. Shops allotment didnt change at all.. the same guys doing the same business. From decades people are runing shops by almost single owner.. the old same idea.. sub standard products in fast food. Juices are good but not at optimum. People are sick of the same thing over and over again. No cleanliness. UOP shall do something about it.
