My father daignosed mouth cancer last month, we consulted with Shaukat Khanum doctors, they just wasted our time and money.There is no free treatment for poors.Bad Experience.

As a doctor i wd like to have a say about this facility. It isa non profit, welfare hospita and research centrel based on the same ideology and offers same great world class healthcare as Lahores. Though it doesnt offers services like radiotherapy, complicated radicals surgeries as offered in Lahore, although it have a full fledged walk in clinic, opd and Ipd services, labs, radiology , pharmacy, chemotherapy bay etc.

Built around 5 years back, its the second Branch of the renowned shaukat khanum memorial cancer hospital and research centre lahore which was built in late 90s by great imran khan.. because of overburdened lahore branch, this hospital was built to fulfill needs of kpk and Afghanistan patients.. a blessing for people of kpk and Afghanistan.. long live IK..

Excellent service and staff .Needs to work a bit to make it comfortable for attendants , esp in current Covid situation.As they are stopped and made to sit outside on road. Should have a respectable area with in premises of the hospital.Procedures can be confusing esp for less aware ppl .Still deserves 5 stars and commendable work.

Grand building with a brick statement architecture and completely contextual design approach

Highly recommend for Cancer diagnosis and treatment, it is free for Zakat deserving people but otherwise very much expensive. In Pakistan we have 3 major cancer treatment institutions Shukat Khanum, Shifa International Hospital and Agha Khan as far as international standards and protocols is concerned Shukat Khanum is at its best.

I wish could give negative rating for hospital Admins.Great Hospital with pathetic management.Walkin clinic reception area is pathetic. They make u sit and wait under trees or in an old fashioned open area . They give u token and calls u unlimited time just to make u stand infront reception counter. They call u through mic with live lady voice which is not understandable. Main gate reception gaurds are too stupid to handle security job. They dont talk in respective manner.Hope the treatment part will be not be the same.Who ever head the administration is a real goof..

The inspiration to build the hospital came after his mother, Mrs. Shaukat Khanum, succumbed to cancer in 1985. During his mothers illness, he also witnessed the plight of poor cancer patients in Pakistans hospitals, and deeply felt the need for a specialized cancer centre in his country. He had a vision of making cancer treatment accessible to every Pakistani who needed it. This is reflected in the hospitals mission statement:

Ultimately, the genetic revolution may lead to ways of preventing cancer. The genetic revolution provides major opportunities for identifying people at risk of cancer and for developing better treatments. At the moment such studies are limited in Pakistan.OUTSTANDING Qurbani option. Meat distributed to the needy. Hides sold for leather proceeds, and the money used for treating cancer patients. Whole qurbani option process takes less than 2 minutes, including confirmation email.Well Done !! Year after year.

The reason I give it one star because my sister like to come from Kabul Afghanistan for her cancer treatment .but the reviews all man. not one women. There’s not shame in Islam if a women post her experiences with the hospital. Women have rights as well as man. That’surprised me. Excellent Hospital for Cancer with World class facilities in Peshawar Pakistan. New facilities are under construction. Credit goes to Imran Khan, Haider Hoti (Ex CM KP) for allocating prime land for hospital for free and all donors.

It is a Hospital, but not only a hospital, it is a trust. It offers free services for Cancer patients. It was founded by a world famous Pakistani Ex-Cricketer, Imran Khan. He founded it on 29 December 1994 in Lahore, and now a new Hospital is also started in Peshawar. It is a good effort.

It is a project of the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust, which is a charitable organization established under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 of Pakistan. The institution is the brainchild of Pakistani cricket superstar, Imran Khan. The inspiration came after the death of his mother, Mrs. Shaukat Khanum, from cancer.FundraisingImran Khan made a nation-wide appeal for the collection of funds from a match between Pakistan and India on November 10, 1989 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore which raised Rs. 2,902,600. This was followed by a series of more than 50 successful fund raisers held throughout the world. Pakistan’s win under Imran’s captaincy in the 1992 cricket world cup in Melbourne helped fundraising efforts. He was able to collect one and a half million pounds in just six weeks after the World Cup when the same amount had taken 2 years to collect earlier. He donated his entire prize money of 85,000 pounds for the project. In 1994 when the project required more financing for the ongoing construction, Imran Khan launched a mass contact campaign in which he toured 27 cities in the country and collected Rs. 120 million. During the entire campaign for the construction of the hospital, over a million individual donors from ordinary citizens to the rich and famous pitched in. We had a very bad experience with this hospital as they refused my brother in law with a stage 4 cancer for treatment saying that they only treat the disease in its earlier stages. The main function of a hospital is to relieve pain and stress of the patient as life and death is not in doctor or hospital control. Now our patient is being treated at another cancer hospital at swat and the doctors office this hospital are very cooperative. The reason I fail to understand that why this institution is playing with the lives of suffering humanity. Really disappointed and only those can understand my feelings who had been through this process and experience.

First time visiting patients get free checkup in walk in clinic they also cure sugar and blood pressure patients through OPD first time charging Rs.2000/- and Rs.1500/- on future visits.
