Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar a simple but eligent structure, and beautiful surroundings. Limited and restricted access due to Covid 19 situation. Adjuscent with Peshawar Air Base have smooth, flate and clean roads and now a VRT access too.

Relatively very small International Airport in Pakistan with daily 3 flights to UAE on a minimum. Friendly people and very helpful. The Airport still needs to be developed further. No lounges or anything as such.

They built new buildings here its now looking awesome. Very nice and clean airport.Not a huge airport like Islamabad international airport but its very good.Its very near to us.Shukur Alhamdulillah.

First Time I Visited Bacha Khan International Airport and Can Happily Say That It Was Much Better Then What I Was Told. Staff Working Including Civil & Security Were Very Helpful. I had to Take a Connecting Flight for Doha and Had To Use This Airport Because This Was The First Available Since There Was No Flight from Islamabad. Everything Was Smooth All The Way, One Thing I Noticed Wad That How People Usually Refer Peshawar Airport as a Small Airport, It Was Beyond My What I Heard and Imagined. There Is Plenty of Scope in Our Airports and Our International Airline Which is PIA, Government Has to Pay a Bit Extra Attention to These and Trust Me The Results Will Be Good for All Of Us.May Allah Bless Us Pakistanis and Ummat e Muslaman. Amen.

Bacha Khan Airport is known as Peshawar International Airport located in the hearth of Peshawar City.It was built by British Empire in 1927 for their Aircrafts from British To western area of Indo-Pak.Pakistan having its first national flight from Kabul to Peshawar in 1965 and in 1985 it was modified.It is one of the busiest and fourth important airport in Pakistan according to its importance.

Terminal was clean calm and the staff is cooperative, one thing i want to add here is let the passengers car to drop the passengers inside airport parking not on road please

The airport services have been improved alot since its renovation.. however the people management system still needs to be worked on..

The Bacha Khan airport is good, but still a lot of improvement needed. Like, facilities for passengers, cleaning, guiding and others.

They Need To Do Some Proper System Durring Hajj And Umrah , Otherwise Their System Is Somehow Good, But The Main Problem Is With Their Front Area Which Is Very Less

Bacha khan Airport is main Airport in peshawar. Its previous name was Peshawar Airport.Its international code is PWR.It lies in cantt Area. Most of Aeroplanes comes from middle east.

Visitors are to wait outside the Main Gate to receive their guests, family members etc. As Entering into Airport is not allowed for Visitors. Be sure to bring along your CNIC card or any other indentification card because you have to go through different Army and Airport Security Force check posts.

Looks good only in pictures, international is somewhat better but domestic one is pathetic. No facilitation and facilities for passengers passing by. However after renovation the airport becomes somewhat good. You should go though long queues at Security Check Point, Signage is proper but the airport is not that neat and clean that is supposed to be. Recommended since you have to travel through this only airport of the city. Happy Journey

I was so proud to step in to a transformed peshawar bacha khan airport ,its modern baggage and security checks,especially staff in the vip lounge and it ambience,and for international flights passengers dont need to climb steps of the plane instead they go through the tunnel which joins to the plane, it can compete with any world class airports in the world

Gud but low quality Airport comparatively to Islamabad international airport...u have to cross lots of checkposts and show Ur identify card so kindly keep in Ur hand Ur identify card etc ...if u r govt officer so will be gud for u other wise u will suffer more ...parking is out side airport and paid parking not free...inside airport is now modified and reconstructed with gud interior ...this airport is in very conjusted area of peshway city so when u have flight in day u will be tired to reach airport but at night it will ok ...staff are some how gud means average ... overalls its gud facility for locals for others Islamabad air port is best as per my point of view.

Currently under construction, they are building complete metal structure internally and expanding the area if airport that really seems to be the right things. Its a very simple and modest airport fittingly serve the Peshawar residents.

Its a disappointment. I just feel that we are 50 years behind the developed countries. Our government should take steps. The is no proper drop off area. I was literally dropped on the main gate and the security checking stared on the Footpath. And then at the boarding lounge , there was not a single shop to get something to eat except that Tea and biscuit shop which even didn’t serve those cold expired sandwiches

Everytime i visit this airport my bad expwrience invreases. Very rude security staff. They even dont know how to talk politely.

I personally dislike this place because of manay reasons but the most important one which is the poor and pathetic service and management. No reception and no complaint desks available even no helping desk is available for New comers. The international terminal is also the victim of bad management. I always wondered what are the intentions of local management, nothing but to give passengers a hard time getting well paid, and giving more hard time to his love ones who are with the passengers to receive or to dispatch.

The airport was renamed on 27 January 2012 after Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (also known as Bacha Khan), a Pashtun nationalist political leader. It was reconstructed in 2016 to 2018. It is the fourth busiest airport in Pakistan. Its a nice size airport, usually all flights are on time. It’s unique in the world for 3 things, It has a train track on the runway, where the train is no more operational at present, it has an irrigation canal passing under it, it has both the dumbbells of runway on same direction. There are two runways in an X-shape form and airport is mutually used by Pakistan Air Force and Passenger plans. The passengers are usually transported in buses between plane and terminal building.

Recent refurbishments have made a huge difference. Seating area is clean and have adequate space to accommodate everyone. Housekeeping staff is efficient and approachable. A smile at the immigration staffs face could make further difference. Government must really work on the drop off area. I was dropped at the street and then i walked all the way to a pavement to get checked. Overall experience inside the airport premises wasnt bad
